I continue to dislike Sammich because:
I believe he is posting useless things just to avoid the posting requirements. (while I admit what I'm doing can be perceived the same way, at least I let everyone know about my lack of posting ability).
If he plays this way as town, he's going to be a danger to the metatown.

I'm not even sure metatown wouldn't give it their all to play well if they were subtown.

I can see pooky's main point for this but if all 3 metascum are subscum they may, for obvious reasons try to win I for 1 am still confused about this set-up and am going to treat every game like it's the only game and treat the metagame as a different game all together

The metagame is really the only game I care about. I could lose the other 5 altogether for all I care. If everybody plays the subgame, how am I supposed to decide who is scummier in the metagame?

There are no incentives for the metamafia to work together in subgames. And if we're all too busy playing the subgames, then we don't have any time to play the metagame. So my goal is to just lynch (and NK) randomly during the subgames and try to win the metagame. Unless you can convince me otherwise.

Mostly true. However, not everyone has the same chance of being meta-lynched. Also, if metascum subtown somehow know at least one of their partners is subscum, that's an incentive for them to play against their own side.

When you say "Fiasco is blowing smoke and scum" do you mean "Fiasco could be blowing smoke and is probably town but scummier than the others"? If no, then my earlier point is content and not semantics. If yes, OK, but that's a bit confusing.

I still owe you a response to your big post, but meanwhile I note that you haven't responded to my point about your calling out the subscum.

Yes, everybody is "probably town" which is why it is semantics. I don't say "X is probably town but scummier than others" I say "X is scum". I don't point the fact that any player I accuse is "probably town" because it's true for everyone and thus I think is semantics.

I do disagree.

The Metatown Subtown should be playing the game to win the MetaGame, not the Subgame, to lynch 3 people who claim SubScum in order to win a SubGame without any regard to the MetaGame is GROSSLY anti-metatown action.

I do agree that Metatown SubScum are MORE likely to give themselves away than MetaScum SubScum, which is ALL THE MORE REASON METATOWN SUBTOWN SHOULD NOT BLINDLY LYNCH THE SUBSCUM!!

To completely ignore the information at hand about the MetaGame and play only for a SubGame win would be GROSSLY nonbeneficial for the MetaTown and I believe that any MetaTown who would do that is performing a disservice to his alignment in the Metagame and playing the Metagame incredibly poorly.

I expect the players here to be rational and understanding. Thus I do not expect the outcome of the subscum coming out to be them being killed.
