Oh my apologies. I read his posts and think he's scum.ShowThings I've learned.
1. It's just a game, have fun.
2. Don't waste time on people who think you are scum. Ignore them and keep scum hunting.
3. Don't take everything so personal.

Interesting so i was somehow good enough to peg you that game and now this game I'm the person you trust the least? If you are town this game that makes absolutely no sense, if you are scum on the other hand I could see why you would be threatened by me.ShowThings I've learned.

RE: xyzzy's catch-up post
In post 89, xyzzy wrote:12: I'm getting town vibes from this--not voting during RVS isn't inherently bad, and there's at least enough content to this post to generate discussion. doing things thatgenerate discussion early on is good and pro-town, and that's what this post does.
I'm not sure that was Robert2424's motivation - IMO, it's lack of drive/stance was the thing that caused it to "generate discussion".
In post 89, xyzzy wrote:38: I don't agree with the sentiment that someone's comfort level can function as a tell with any real level of precision; there are probably just as many people who do exactly the opposite as scum.
I partly agree with this - if a player is 'comfortably' spamming the thread, I would null read this at best. But yes, if someone has a comfortable/open style of sharing their thoughts/feelings, I find this town-indicative.
In post 89, xyzzy wrote:59: this post is really incoherent, but that's my cat's fault for waking me up at 4:30 am.
I like this observation:
In post 89, xyzzy wrote:70: this is the first post from Zachstralkita that I think actually says anything significant; the rest of his posts before this one have a really low signal:noise ratio.
Feeling better about xyzzy - her early posts seemed very guarded (player's sitting on their thought-process make me feel uncomfortable), but her catch-up post (post 89) seems more natural and expressive of her actual stances.-

In post 91, Dunnstral wrote:All of this is Jaack pushing on robert for basically no reason. The fact that he just continues on about it was very telling to me. It actually makes me suspect that this is a possible bus between two mafia, though it's also possible that it's just Jaack as mafia pushing on a townie who can't fight back.
I've seen Jaack jump on two things already with an axe (Jaack called it "playing aggressively") - but I'm actually null-town-leaning this style of play now. D1: I feel like scum would be the one standing behind the guy with the axe and not the oneholdingthe axe.
UNVOTE: Jaack
What was your read of Jaack?

Yes, I think I see your perspective now. I like players who don't hold their punches (as long as I can see the thought-process). Interactions with players (whether offensive/defensive) isinformation(pro-town-play).
In post 119, toolenduso wrote:In other news,re-reading gave me a townlean on Tyler. Not entirely for the way he's playing, though he is doing work (a surface-level towny-looking thing), but more the way that people started townreading him almost in kind of snowball fashion. It's striking me as the kind of thing where town say he looks town, impressionable town agree and scum hop onto the townreading wagon in an effort to have genuine-looking reads.
This is an interesting way/reason for town-leaning Tyler the Creator [based on the nature of him being mass-town-read]. I kind of switch off to the popular town/scum reads on D1. Have you found this observation-method accurate in previous games?-

My feelings have changed. If Dunn was mafia I feel like he would have dropped this "hey look how into this game I am" (I'm really trying to explain this as best I can) tone after being called out on it by 3 people. I'm curious about how he's actually going to push this "case" on me.
I don't think that is a good reason to think that Dunnstral is town-aligned. If I was using that metric to read Dunnstral I would invert it and call him scum-aligned for it, but I think the best thing to do is ignore it.
I think you are focusing excessively on this non-alignment-indicative aspect of Dunnstral's play because you are scum-aligned and your attempts to read players are fake.
VOTE: Bins
I don't understand & I don't like how you worded that last sentence.
I don't understand how tone isn't alignment indicative.-

Like the whole "if I was using that metric I would scum read him" is such a weird POV, don't you think? Anyways, agree to disagree that Dunn would drop it. Like I said, the fact Dunn is now comfortable pushing me in the way he currently is doesn't seem like scum to me. I interpreted his earlier posts incorrectly, and now I'm seeing it really is just a weird vibe in the way he posts. He's continuing to jump around like "Look at me! No fear!" and that's no longer scummy to me. If he flipped scum, I'd be impressed he was able to keep his tone like that.
UNVOTE: dunn
Dunn, I'm passive because I grew more unsure of my read on you. I fail to see how that's not a normal approach.-

I like Keyser's commentary on reasoning behind other people's reads, that's a pretty deep thing to look into and on the harder side of things to fake as scum.
I had a reason for leaning town on Ira. Have to go find the post.
Either way I'm at the point where I have too many town reads and might just vote a silent person.-

Usually if I see a person make a post I cannot see coming from scum I shove them into my town pile and in my notes I had done that with Ira but I honestly can't figure out why and reading through his ISO I feel pretty awful
Like at first when he derailed the question w/ Jaack (i think I commented on this)-

Yeah, definitely not joining the bins wagon now... while I think dunn's argument has merit, I'm NOT joining a wagon with ira and tool on it.
Pedit-Tyler is right, 210 is a bad post.
Pedit x2-but ira votes are good votes. Still have mixed feelings for bins.-

Just the way he tries to continuously dismantle suspicion on himself by explaining himself very "Yep. This is how it is. Lmfao, back off now." (as you can see I have a Ph.D. in explaining)

Robert2424 has talked, though.
This is so null but so not null at the same time if u kno what i mean

More vague could be just saying that he's voting for "reasons", so that isn't true.
Like I mentioned b4 pointless dismantle
Like this is how you just ruin a point by mentioned something that isn't really relevant
"Like hey but he could have been MORE VAGUE so.............. ur wrong lets discount your post."

Oh lol thought tool was voting bins. When dunn voted bins in 165 he was quoting dunn. I guess my brain assumed tool was voting bins.
But as for tool=scum he has largely been going with what was popular at the time (early dunn questioning, my mini wagon) it's not much, but it gives me a lingering feeling he's scum.-

Your first post and post 122 have been the 2 worst posts of theentire game. And in general you got more talk than game.
"Of the entire game"?Sounds like you've caught up - thoughts? I don't like the fact you've dropped in with a vote but not gone through/expressed your thoughts of the "entire game" first.-

i don't know if we can derive much from the group of people who were questioning dunn early considering how much of a spectacle he was making of himselfIn post 221, Jaack wrote:But as for tool=scum he has largely been going with what was popular at the time (early dunn questioning, my mini wagon) it's not much, but it gives me a lingering feeling he's scum.
like yea odds are there's scum within that group just like there's probably scum within any group - but was there anything you saw that sorta set tool apart in that regard?
i get the dissecting your own wagon part of the read, though, some of my most accurate towngames are games ive gotten run up in
slayers gambit
i kinda liked his thing about thinking i was town for the snowball townreads i got, though, that's a pretty out of the box thought for scum to have and i kinda thought the same thing tbh-
