How frequently do you see miller claims turn out to be fake? Any time I've seen one, people get suspicious but it turns out to be legit.

I voted Hellhound early. Hellhound hasn't responded to that pressure well at all.
Given the first chance of swinging a counterwagon--when SirCakes was shown to have some vote support, Hellhound went for it.

The speed at which the wagon picked up on Hellhound and then dropped, followed by Hellhound still seeming tense to the point of wanting Firebringer to run damage control just strikes me as particularly weird.

that's an odd thing to assume. unless it's a upick or the mod explicitly says flavor is not alignment indicative i always assume scum and town have different flavors

my first thought was for iec's claim to make sense, scum are aquatic and town are terrestrial

What did the claim tell you?

there's a few contexts where miller claims makes sense:

1) as kind of a named townie. you usually see this in theme games and when the flavor matches up just right w/ the role. see: ozy and millie mafia. there was no investigative roles in the game but principal bovine was a miller b/c he was an asshole in the comic. millers are usually flavored as fundamentally town, but they're misunderstood or something makes the LOOK bad.

2) to take someone out of the "can be confirmed by cop" pool. for this you either need a full blown cop or a very lightly gated cop

3) interaction w/ rolecops. it lets rolecops get a definitive inno.

i went ahead and asked for the flavor was b/c of #1 (which i personally think is the most likely). once there's a scum flip or two, the claim can better be evaluated and it's better to have iec go ahead and give it now before we have ANY flips so that if he's scum and making it up he has nothing to look at to fabricate flavor.

i don't know if hip remember it or not.

i fakeclaimed miller as scum. it was a walking dead themed game and my safe character was shane. i did a quick lookup on google and saw shane later turned "bad" so i went ahead and gambited and claimed miller but i fucked up b/c the time frame was wrong (the game covered episode 2).

if someone asked me my flavor, i would've gotten busted almost immediately but no one did.
