I don't know if I buy this anti-Shanba thing that's going on now. The lie was so minor that it hardly even qualifies.

(Shrug) he came out and said he'd told a lie of his own accord. He posted the first part of his self analysis a couple of days before, and nobody came out and said, "OMG you were still online at the time so you were lying!" (and frankly it would be easy to for him to get round that even if someone did). His explanation suggests he's pretty concerned about his image in the game which worries me a bit, but I think I could imagine myself doing something similar regardless of alignment. So I pretty much agree with Rishi there.

I actually agree. Shanba's explanation of the lie sounded pretty Town to me. I could be wrong but it doesn't feel like scum that's covering his tracks - it sounds more like a Townie that recognized a mistake that scum might potentially jump on to make him look bad, so he pointed it out before they could.

What did seem scummy was mneme jumping on him after what seemed like a very reasonable explanation. Rather than providing some kind of defense or scum hunting at all, mneme just seems to be lurking. Since Patrick unvoted, I'll vote to put mneme to -1. Gives him a little more incentive to claim.

Strong. Maybe this will pick the game up a bit. It's a shame that the game was re opened just when I'm planning to go to bed. I'll try and look a bit closer at yesterday tomorrow. Initial reaction is that the two last votes on mneme are possible buses, and that Jack/White is likely town.

It's mostly the fact that he hammered mneme with so little of the deadline left. If I was scum, I would have just waited it out, considering mneme needed full majority to lynch. It's such a wifomy point in his favour that i despise trying to factor it in though.
