Scrub means someone who doesn't play to win and complains about outside factors to justify their loss.
Conveniently, exactly what Ythan is doing here. But I don't really subscribe to the classic play to win theory hence why I said tryhard is a bad term.Last edited by Natirasha on Fri Oct 23, 2015 9:00 am, edited 1 time in total.Natirasha is just a vestige, it's Contessa now.-

guys
the more important point to argue is that Bulky Swords Dance MegaScizor is superior to CBandScizor. If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?

Unless you're playing VGC because you're better off running Kangaskhan as your mega but I digressIf you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?

And Scarf Scizor is superior to both and the most severely underrated set in existence.Don't @ me.-

People who realised that scizor actually has a lot of the tools that make a good scarfer who can scout and revenge kill in to a wider variety of threats than other sets can. You do lose the ability to revenge some things, but it's a different set of cool things you get. Like you can revenge a Heatran as scarf scizor, which you can't as any other set.Don't @ me.-

...... With what?
Scizor doesnt have a move with enough power to even poke Heatran, not to mention quad-resist to everything.-

Frankly, I always liked Life Orb Nidoking. He gets that ability that gives +30% damage to attacks that have status effects, and he gets Earthquake/Flamethrower/Thunderbolt/HP Ice for almost perfect coverage, and he resists Stealth Rock and is immune to Poison Spikes. I used to run a BP team that used Gorebyss to pass Shell Smash to him, and then he'd sweep everything. And nobody else ever ran it, so nobody knew how to counter it. Tons of fun, and completely original.
Screw it, I agree with Ythan now.One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.-

True; I probably am misremembering my moveset. That said, Shell Smash is still doubling your Att, Sp.Att., and Speed, so it's not such a problem. One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. Netdecking happens for me when I think "these cards are pretty cool, I kinda want to play these," and then see a deck that is nearly the same thing. While I will copy large parts of the deck, I'm going to make substitutions based on card availability. The big question on not winning is why go to a ton of extra work to make a deck that's similar, yet probably worse than a netdeck?
And my definition of scrub is along the lines of someone who calls part of a game unfair/not part of the game, doesn't use it and calls out people who do for using something unfair/not part of the game. That said, netdecking doesn't absolutely have to be part of the game with magic, but it kindof is by now in competitive formats. If you want to win without netdecking, fine, but don't take away from other people's enjoyment if they want to.
Also, on netdecking, I'd imagine some people still may not netdeck, but deck design space is not infinite, and powerful decks will be powerful decks. That said, not every powerful deck will be found because too many damn people netdeck, but whatever.-

Also Heatran really isn't a problem if you're running Lando T which, let's face it, you are, so that's not a great incentive to run scarf scizor. There's much better Scarfers to run, although I'm drawing a blank on examples right now.If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know when you're being lied to?

Thanks in advance.
