In rereading, I caught something that I'd like Shanba to explain a little more. At one point, he thought TS was a good lynch candidate, but before he went on his three week holiday, he specifically said that he

didn't

want a TS lynch. Is there a reason why you think that TS is no longer scummy?

When re-read the game after my absense, I caught something in TS' posts that made me think she was a bad lynch.

I had fingered acfan as scummy when I first replaced in, but somehow I lost my direction. His reactions to the cop claims have all been pretty scummy, and I'm really not liking the way that BM defended him on multiple occaissions. His vote on Shanba here is also very uncalled for.

First off, my reaction to the first cop claim was idiotic, not scummy. The second cop claim, meanwhile, I pretty much saved you from being lynched that day... And Secondly, when did BM defend me? Finnaly, I voted shanba becuase its not townie behavuir to continually ask other people to say something. All he has to do is reread and then post his thoughts. Asking other people to contribute but not contributing is not hepling the town.

First, ac1983fan, voting Shamba seems like a bad idea. I was also unhappy that the game was moving so slow, but I couldn't post. The forums are still acting up on me.

Second,

1) I received a message from a player in this game giving me info on another player. The info itself isn't all that useful, but more important is the question of whether I can trust that person as town. That's what I'll be thinking about when I get back.

What exactly do you mean "Got a message"? Are you saying your a mason

I'm saying I received a PM from another player, via the mod, and was told I could respond to that player (again, via the mod, of course) but I opted not to.

My guess is that this was due to some item or something. But I'm not sure.

Also, to whoever asked, my first two innocents are alive. Last night I investigated BM, who is dead.

I think you actually proved the point quite well that acfan was monitoring the thread without contributing. I'm not sure why he felt the need to jump on you for it.

As for Lowell's concerns, I'm also unsure of my role's usefullness. Unfortunately, I've had only innocents and none of them have been killed yet. I'm feeling quite strongly that all of my results are either random or they will only be innocent.

Given the game state (we're probably in endgame, and will almost certainly be in endgame tomorrow), the fact that the Lantern is now available, and the fact that there are no roles in Animal Crossing that are obviously Doctor (AFAICT), I'm considering the possible merits of a mass name claim.

What's the lantern have to do with anything? It's only 3 bells, so I doubt it's that powerful. As for the mass name claim, I don't see why not.

Let's put it this way - if everyone buys a Lantern, then this game turns into something resembling a giant game of Dethy. (This becomes easier if everyone uses their Lantern on Lowell, since he's practically guaranteed town at this point).

I agree with this. There's really nothing to be gained from a mass claim at this point. I think prods and a deadline will do a little more to generate discussion.
