You're right, it is worth clarifying that we must not revive Yos ever ever ever. Other details aren't worth worrying about at this stage. If I die you know you can trust me on that, and if I live and the exact reason becomes important, I'll be able to tell you why.
I actually think it would have been better had you just stuck to saying 'we shouldn't revive him today' today, then come out with 'we should never revive him' tomorrow. Seems to me you've given out more information than is necessary, though I suppose there was always the chance you got NKed tonight. But, then we could revive you. :D

Well, Khepri is the one I expected when Nightson posted his result, so that's a good thing, I guess.

Nightson, please paraphrase your PM as closely as you can. Ask Mgm if it's an okay paraphrase if you want to.

Oh dear lord...
Can someone please help me understand why a god associated with rebirth would be a cop?
You could at least have claimed Necromancer or something...

My guess would be that the flavour has Khepri checking up on the forces of death whilst rolling the sun through the underworld, or something.

Nightson's information was convincing and I'm awfully terrified at the thought we just exposed three power/informational roles day 1 :?

Maybe, but we still have the revive, and as we don't know quite what RafK's role is, it may be that preventing Yos being revived might be the most useful thing he could do for the town, and hence worth hinting powerrole. We can also be reasonably confident that, if you're telling the truth, you're not sane, which is useful.

I'm Howard Carter, I found King tut's tomb. I send in a name and get a description of something in their home or tomb. [My win condition]

*lurk*

I'm not terribly worried about the power roles being outed, unless they are protection roles. Although, there better have been a good reason.

Well, if you want to know why Khepri is a Cop, why don't you ask Albert? It should be in his PM.

Well, that actually is a bit of a fifty-fifty. I was thinking that, being Howard Carter and all, you'd be a Burglar, a role which sometimes has miller attached to it.

Still not convinced about Nightson. His role does not seem to make a lot of sense flavourwise, there's still the guilty investigation. His ability is there, but no reason why that would make him protown. It's not an uncommon ability for scum.

I would be interested if there's anyone else with a modern era role. If so I would be willing to unvote, but for now I'm happy with it.

No, it means:

First line, he's Howard Carter, he found King Tut's tomb.
Second, his role.
Third, [his win condition] which he's declining to state.

Paraphrasing the win condition was a no no.

Can we please let Albert answer this for himself?

I just got done with DotA mafia on MTGS, where a scum- Primate, as it happens- falseclaimed cop and faked a guilty investigation on a townie. The next morning, obviously, I'm like "Better have a good explanation for that, I think you're lying scum" and some cleared townie comes up with an amazing explanation of why the alleged scum wouldn't have done that if he was scum, and clearly there was a mistake, and voting for him was incredibly scummy. The scum didn't even have to defend himself, a townie did it all for him. I was lynched that day instead, because leaping all over a proved liar is obviously scummy

My point is, make people explain themselves.

If I die you know you can trust me on that,
Why? If we have two scum groups you could just as easily be the group that didn't kill you. If we have only one scum group, presumably Yosarian isn't part of it, so why not revive him?
You are fishing, you don't need to take anything I say on blind trust because it will be revealed eventually anyway.
What will be revealed? Yos's role? You haven't staked an assertion on Yos's role, and in fact have by implication disclaimed any; Yosarian's role doesn't have an expiration date. You haven't said
anything
that will later be revealed or disproven. The only claim you have made is that you have made a claim.

Besides, if you tell a lie on day 1 that will be revealed on day 6, that's five days you've bought yourself of presumed innocence. You'll have to do lots better than "It'll all be revealed eventually, so I must be followed without question."
I think it's pretty clear that TSS's awesomeness did alter the roles each of us recieved, and thus he's obviously pro-town. -- Save The Dragons

Yeah, that's pretty much why I posted what I posted (and I did the same with Nightson). I have a hypothesis I think is pretty solid, but first I want to see what Albert comes up with.

Carter didn't steal artifacts silly Zindie, him being burgler wouldn't make sense.

Well, even the Wiki states that Howard Carter entered the tomb before waiting for the officials, so there is definitely something not legal going on there.
