I'm still not understanding you. In post 124 you say that scum will most definitely be on a quick lynch. No qualifiers. But now in post 125 you claim that scum don't like fast early lynches. You claim scum don't like fast early lynches because it is highly unlikely the quick lynch target will be Town. If a fast early lynch is on scum, why would scum already be on the wagon? That makes no sense to me. I understand busing. I know how it works. But I don't see why a fast early lynch in any way points to an absolute certainty that busing is involved. In fact, in the scenario where a fast early lynch results in a scum flip I would be far more interested in looking at the people who were not on the scum wagon. Do you disagree?

specifically i think this post is very town. he's sticking to his points and asks for clarification, and it doesn't sound like he's scum tunneling for the sake of it.

in other words he's holding onto the line of questioning because he seems to want to, rather than because he feels like he needs to, as scum would to maintain consistency

It's not necessarily reliable, but you've seen the figures from the matrix6 newbie thread, right? newbscum had 50% or more replace out rate as scum, and 35% replace out rate as newbtown. That's a pretty big gap, even if it isn't directly relevant to micro games, micro games are the closest in size and play to newbie games.

One problem that we have always had with using stats is that we can never get a large enough sample size. Which is why I think meta is pretty much useless and posts like the above are too. Newbie games are so fucking different too.

I still have residual scumvibes on that slot due to Ninja, this is WIFOMy but Marquis did that ahmished tell thing as scum in a game we were both in before (admittedly he replaced in after I was lynched) so I don't know if he'd make that error again, I also have no idea how to read him when he's frenetic like this though.
