WIFOM, absolutely. I'd like to give Raffles the benefit of the doubt, for now. Temporary WIFOM.

You, on the other hand, in addition to over-reacting to rather gratuitious accusations from me, and my single vote, seem hell-bent on attacking, contradicting, and challenging anyone that dares to post. What is your purpose?

DGB : Again, the things you accuse MoS of are consistent with his play-style. As much as I dislike it, I don't see anything out of the ordinary with his play.

Vote: Battle Mage
He's starting to piss me off. Reading through, he smells overly scummy and just too annoying to function.

Ah dunno! Seems to me that he's quite a bit more rabid than usual. Is it my imagination?

@PBug - I expect more from you. Your "reasoning" reeks of opportunism. Please explain your decision to vote in greater details. Thanky you.

It doesn't appear especially pressing, but in case something changes, I wanted to say that I'm going to be away on business for two days. As things stand, I still find Raffles' behavior regarding ESE to be the most suspicious thing going (i.e., neither Battle Mage's nor Mastermind of Sin's behaviors seem out of character for them), so I'm happy with my vote there. I may be on again later tonight, and should be back Wednesday.

I still heavily suspect Raffles, but I find Battle Mage to be deliberately disrupting the natural flow of the game, thus distracting us from finding scum. People who do that, if they aren't scum, might as well be.

BM wrote:same old crap arguments. im beginning to doubt that your experience has taught you alot about this game, as you seem to have neglected the basic principles. if you think im that idiotic, by all means ignore me, or, failing that quit the game. you could even invest in a stress-ball for us when you read my comments. However, such an attitude is CERTAINLY going to be detrimental to the town, as it means we lose the majority of your contribution to the game. Still, im happy to sacrifice that, if it means that your comments stick to the actual game. If you want to criticise my logic, be specific and relevant, otherwise just set up a:
"I HATEZ BATLE MAGEE" thread in Mish Mash
believe me, its the latest craze.
NOW, can we get back on topic?
BM
The latest craze? This is not a craze. You are clearly not helping at all with this situation, and therefore keeping alive by not suggesting we just drop it. Therefore, by not admitting your own wrong, you are just as bad, if not worse, than those you are admonishing, and distracting away from the game even more. We're not going to ignore you, because that could be giving scum a free ride. Quitting the game would be stupid.
I would not have commented on this at all, but after it had already desisted, you fail you follow your own advice after it had mostly blown over in post 826, by staying off topic!
What does this tell me? You're trying to look protown by admonishing players to stay ontopic, without actually contributing anything to the game, while DGB defends you out the wazoo. Not to mention that this is NOT normal Battlemage as town play. BattleMage as town seizes hold of one idea, and does not let it go, no matter how irrational the idea is.

BUT, in this game he seems to have kept his options more open, and less aggressive, as I believe Shanba has already said.

@IH
In post 805, you should have just fossed me again, because I think I'm the only one who found Shanba's post suspicious. What's interesting is you suspecting distancing/bussing between me and Shanba, and then say Fos anyone suspicious of Shanba. Hows that work?
And your right, I'm probably metagaming some, but it doesn't change what happened. I can't pretend to not remember. This certainly wouldn't be the 1st time someone made analysis of another player based on actions performed in a previous game. Much like several people are doing with BM right now. ie. claiming he's not acting his usual townie self.

The thing that I noticed in post 795 is not the Raffles slip, but BM's response to it. His reply was:
BM wrote:you seem pretty over-protective of him, especially considering I DIDNT EVEN MENTION HIM.
Well, MoS is about the farthest person from protecting Raffles. Hell, he led the charge against Raffles. This means that BM is just randomly lashing out with whatever sounds incriminating at the time and not reading the thread.

Also of note, DGB's defense of BM's actions right now. If BM comes up scum, it could indicate DGB's alignment as well.

Unvote, Vote Battle Mage

I'm happy with way things are for the moment. It's a shame that no one blieves me, but at least they have plenty of info to go on if I die.

That is unless if majority of the players are scum, then it's kinda waste of time. :(

Mod, Vote Count? I think Raffles is at 5, BM at 4, and MoS at 3, but I'm not positive.

I'm liking Akbar/Shanba (formerly remus) for a scum pair right now. That single vote Akbar threw on Shanba for a while that didn't gain any traction, then switching opportunistically to
the kicked puppy
Battle Mage, reeks to me. PBuG and IH too, frankly.

DGB's defense of BM is noted, but I think it's just because they're both certifiably insane , not because they're a scumpair. Maybe.

DGB seems to be defending everyone under scurtiny (except me) but I'm not sure what to make of that.

Something's just clicked: Albert B. Rampage is scarecrow. Suddenly his question as to why I suspect him makes sense. Although, I do believe he was one of the ones I gave my reasons for in the post.

Flay, I understand your reasons for suspecting Akbar, and for the most part I gree with them: especially considering his attack on me was OMGUS in that I had FoSsed him in my opening post. However, are your suspicions of me simply based on the I don't like Shanba's opening post thing? Or is there more to it?

Flay, I can produce a Certificate of Insanity if you want proof. It's richly gilded and framed.

My "defense" of BM is more of a personal defense, than a game defense. I thought some of the comments were in the realm of
ad hominem
and rather silly. Silly, y'hear??? Silly!!!

I do have to agree about your comments on Akbar/Shanba. I can't put my finger on it. Perhaps it's the cross-references? Repeated cross-references, not a single instance. MoS even thought they were the same person. It's very weird. I am not sure if it means they are a scum pair; but they're something going on. They keep refering to each other, in the absence of provocation.

I am singularly displeased with PBug. Very opportunistic, pathetic excuses, and willing to get rid of players he doesn't like rather than make an effort looking for scum. His brief appearance strikes me as some of the most scummy behavior I've seen so far. PBug might need some motivation, though. Here it comes, in the shape of a vote:

Why is it that everyone seems intent on purposely misrepresenting my posts even after they've been fully explained, multiple times?
