I was trying to warm my hands in a discarded bap when the police picked me up and took me to the station for an identity parade. They said a local travel agent had been steamed by a naked old man. I was needed to make up the numbers. "I'm not an old man," I said. "We don't believe you." A short while later, I was standing in the nude between a very old woman and an energetic old man with a home-made Prince Albert. She was the kind of person Doctors cannot help. She only had a headache when she came to them. 5 kilograms of Heroin is all it takes to reduce a normal person to tears. It takes more for the stupid, I imagine. I later heard that she had died.

To help us feel empathy with the newly dead. I don't really know how I could feel empathy with a man with a flower in his ear, though. It would take a mind I don't think I possess. He was later gunned down outside the shop, for some reason inadequately explained. They were too busy talking about the flower.

The worry is always there that one day you'll wake up and find yourself staring at your body, and all it would take is a sharp winter for there to be little left. At the age of 2, Maria had committed her first hit. By four she was one of the most respected names in the business, her weapons knowledge second to none. Just before her sixth birthday, she began to feel like she was wasting her life, becoming throughly disenchanted with the business, and moved into the booming trade of cleaning away dead bodies before the law gets its hands on them. However, Six-year old children are apparently nowhere near as good at cleaning away dead bodies as they are creating them, and Maria suffered a fair few embarrassments, making her bargain basement stuff. And now she's dead. Was sent to a psychiatric clinic, diagnosed with rampant Schizophrenia. Electroshock therapy was illegal on such a small girl, and a few people questioned the necessity of it, considering she appeared to be perfectly normal to everyone who talked to her, but no-one had any doubt that the doctors did everything they could to help this poor girl. The fact that she died on the table was a fault of her poor system, and no blame can be attributed to our noble doctors.

Staring at his knees, entranced by them. They are so very lovely. A phone call from the receptionist tells him that someone will see him now. The sigh is audible. Splitting the two up should be a crime. But love must wait. The Doctor goes to the window, preparing himself to meet the patient. Looking directly up at the sun, eyes wide, he starts to wince. He hears the door open behind him, and waves the unseen patient to sit down, gesturing to a damp chair in the corner of the room, his eyes nevertheless staying on the sun. Then the sound of a gun, from behind him. He turns slowly, his blinded eyes wistfully leaving the dull glow of the sun.
"I'm terribly sorry, I appear to be quite unable to see. Could you come back tomorrow?"

I have comitted many wrongs throughout my life. Several million, if my estimations are correct. I don't really consider myself an evil man, though. I wonder if that's why the number's so high. When I was twelve, I threw a brick at a tramp for a joke and then ran away. He was still there the next morning. That was number 4503, and it has the distinction of being the first I remember. My major worry is that, not only are there people out there who wouldn't be concerned about killing someone, who wouldn't feel it notable enough to add to their tally, those people might be perceived as more pure than me, their lack of inhibitions giving them an odd type of sainthood.

I had just arrived on holiday. As I unpacked my suitcase in the hotel, I glanced out of the window. A man was climbing over the barrier separating his balcony from the air on the other side. I stopped what I was doing to watch him. He finished climbing over, and threw himself off of his first floor balcony, landing on the floor, his feet going out from under him, and falling onto his shoulder as he landed awkwardly. Pushing himself to his feet, he stood up, not bothering to brush himself off. He proceeded to go back in through the lobby. After a couple of minutes. he emerged back onto the balcony, climbed up, and threw himself over a second time. I stood there for about half an hour, watching him throw himself over the balcony, onto the floor, over and over again. By this time, a crowd had gathered, and people from the rooms next to me had also come out to watch. The nameless man, though, had begun to struggle, and people from the crowd had to help him back up to his balcony. Towards the end, they were carrying him, and throwing him off, as he was just unable to do it by himself.

Someone asked him why he was doing this. Turns out he decided to throw himself off a first floor balcony eighty times instead of a eightieth floor balcony one time in case he changed his mind on the way down. An odd admission of fallibility, really, from the man who apparently knew everything.

I saw the two men close on the woman. She began to talk, and as she did so, the two men started to slow in their advance. Simenon dropped to the floor, his legs failing him. The other man took a faltering step forward, but his failing legs dragged into the prone body in front of him. He fell in an arc, arms flailing.

But the falling man was closer than Shanba had intended for him to be, and as he fell forward, one of his waving arms hit Shanba squarely across the chest. She was knocked back, off balance, into the wall. If the wall had been there, that is. Instead there was only a large hole, designed for an elevator, but lacking both the elevator to go in it, and the doors to stop people falling through. Shanba stumbled through it, and, still trying to retain her balance toppled through the opening. An extremely boring scream emerged from the depths, slowly fading until silence.

pushed down an elevator, and TCS had a role from a sketch in which a bunch of people die by falling down an elevator.

And no-one even tried to put the flavour together, even ask about it, when I thought it was fairly obvious two separate people killed ecto. Why?

Man, five killing roles in the same game. The really shocking thing is that we made it to Day 7!

Didn't really get why Shanba was no killing so often.

EDIT: Probly would have been ok up until night...4? 5 and 6 were definitely mistakes, to my mind.

Serial Killer

In the sketch, you reveal your plan. You are so utterly boring, that people never want to talk to you. So you develop a plan. when people are in trouble, they always want to talk to someone. Putting Glue on the handles of car doors, putting wire across roads to trip up cyclists, asking you for help is still talking, right? Visiting your newfound friends in the hospital, you always seem to have friends now. After Confessing your crimes to a policeman, just to extend the conversation, you are forced into police custody, though are eventually let go, because the police despise talking to you that much. You continue with your ways, and are eventually able to 'help' many people, all of whom are unaware of your crimes. They just drift away after a while, though, bored by you, so you must carry on, you must make do.



Ability: You may incapacitate someone every night. As well as allowing you to make friends with that person, it will also remove them from the game. (effectively you just kill them). Instead of committing your kill, you may instead drum up a conversation with someone. It'll only last long enough to get past the preliminary introductions, but you will learn their name, at least.

You are also in three separate mason groups.

In the Sketch, you try to combat serious diseases using acupuncture. working on the model that the diseases are more serious, you use begin to use increasingly big needles, culminating in the nails you use now. One through each hand, one through each foot, and two through the chest, then hand them from a board for 24 hours. It must cure them, right? I mean, you leave them out the back, and they're normally gone by morning.



Ability: You may use your medical skills to protect someone against a single nightkill attempt against them.

You are also in a masonry with Cogito Ergo Scum, Remussaidow, _Converge and Trestian

Feel free to talk to them at night. You do not know whether your masonbuddies are innocent, guilty or whatever.

Trestian, You are the Man from the "Shop Hold up" Sketch in episode 2. -

In the sketch, you go into a shop with a gun and buy some cigarettes, using your gun to make sure he gets the change right. The shop owner tells you that with the gun you could have just stolen the cigarettes. It takes you a while to come to terms with this, but you eventually realise that you can get free things simply by going into shops, pointing the gun at them and telling them what you want. You later turn this to great use by getting a lighter.

Basically, you were never a great thief, just a stupid man who had an enlightenment about the wrong thing.



Ability: You are a kind man at heart, and you never wanted anyone to get hurt. You may, at night, protect someone from a nightkill that targets them.

The Thick People Agency provides employment for especially stupid people in the areas of occupations that are particularly suited for them. Winning arguments, for example. Thick People are very good at winning arguments, simply because they don't realise that they've lost. Abilities: Due the veneer of respectability you maintain, you will be investigated innocent to cops. You may also, if you wish, send someone to a clinic, which will effectively remove their ability to talk to any people they would otherwise be able to talk to during the night, and remove other peoples ability to talk to them. To do this, send a PM during the day with the name of the person you are targetting. I will remove that persons ability during the lynch scene. (I phrased this kind of badly. If you don't get it, or just have questions, PM me and I will answer them)

The Admiral, you are the Information Man from the "Mr Bentham" series of sketches.

In the Sketches, Mr Bentham comes to see you for advice regarding his own life. The things he needs advice for are things like "What should I do tonight", "I've lost my wallet", and "My top lip is warm". You then give him some small piece of common sense advice, and he goes away happy.



Ability: You can dispense advice to someone who needs it, allowing them to pick the optimum person for their nightchoice. Due to the dreamy nature of the place you work, they will forget they ever talked to you, but you will retain the knowledge of who that person targetted (You're a tracker, basically). If, however, you target a member of the mafia, that person will be informed that he was tracked last night. He will also be informed that townies do not recieve this notification.

Noteswise, Simenon was actually a Cop Switch, ThAdmiral obviously didn't know he was a miller. For a while I was paranoid about the relative strengths of the three factions, but in hindsight, I'm fairly happy with what I did. Right until I sent out the roles, I was debating whether to give the mafia faction a one-shot roleblock across the board, but I obviously underestimated the power of simply consisting of more than one person. If I had given the mafia that RB, then they would have likely saved the life of a member and won even sooner, so I'm glad I didn't do that, and I thought it was fairly locked between the mafia and Sk right until the end. Town suffered from some bad luck in terms of getting the quack/doc conflict hit so early, but also didn't play that well in general, either, with the CPE lynch being for very poor reasons (ThAdmiral was too, but I suspect that's my knowledge in who the scum are talking), and general misuse of non-vig nightactions, with RB/Cop/Tracker all getting jack of any use. I absolutely loved the role of mafia watcher and will likely use it again as soon as I can. It's confirmable enough that you get scum confirming their ability quickly, it's an information role, so townies are paranoid about lynching it, and it's actually genuinely useful in scum hands, but not too good. Even assuming they don't hit the jackpot like C.E.S did night one (revealing all other targeters bar the mafia kill), they can still find info roles by themselves as well as doc-find (and SK-find) with relative ease. The communication aspect within the masons was sufficently underused that it's probly my biggest dissapointment with the game. I guess it could be because, out of the last 4 players, 3 of them were non-masongroupers, which is a fair coincidence, and stymied that bit, but in honesty, I believe it's because it simply wasn't inherently as interesting as I had hoped it was. I was also, for quite a while, a fairly inattentive and absent mod, and I take full responsibility for a lot of the dying of activity towards the middle. Picking such an obscure flavour that didn't immediately relate to mafia was also maybe a mistake, but that I was fully aware of that when I decided to mod this theme, and I thought I provided enough information in the first post to make it that, if anyone

did

want to look into the theme, it'd be easy to see how it all relates to the game.

What else...oh yeah. I hugely regretted giving the images I used in the PMs such generic names. It meant that you could technically confirm or disprove roleclaims by url shenanigans, so I tried to keep them out in the hope people wouldn't realise this.
