Looking for 7 votes for a lynch!
Do you think that repeating that in every post will somehow make it true?Thesp wrote:Why? ChannelDelibird and Patrick are the scums.
On the surface this looked like a blatant attempt to setup future lynches. However, I can sort of understand. I was quite surprised when mgm and Adele both took my side in that debate and quickly went onto voting Thesp like that. It just wasn't really what I was expecting. It leaves me kind of torn, though the bandwagon gives me a better feeling than the one against Andrew yesterday did. I don't think he needs anymore votes yet until we sort out the situation with Ether.Glork wrote:If Thesp is pro-town, Adele and MGM are so dying next.
Since that initial list has posted, MGM/Adele have risen to the top of my list. My Ether suspicion is in something of a stasis, and Thesp/CDB have slipped a bit.Adele wrote:Am I to understand from this that you have some kind of opposition to the lynch?GLork wrote:If Thesp is pro-town, Adele and MGM aresodying next.
(my emphasis)Glork wrote:Glork thinks MGM,Thesp, Ether, Adele, possibly CDB are scummy.
There aren't manyFritzler wrote:have you really improved it if you haven't been able to beat your record for longest time survived as scum
If I had reacted to your continuous claims that I was scum, my reaction would have been along the lines of "WTF? You're accusing me for no reason". Your 'accusations' looked to me like scum trying to deliberately incite a defensive reaction, so I was pretty sure that if I did react, you'd have pounced on it. Therefore, I ignored it.Thesp wrote:Why would defensiveness be the only other reaction? I can imagine a number of other conceivable reactions which would all be valid. I'm intrigued by your need to avoid reaction entirely.
Yeah, well, excuse me for dismissing this as vague unsubstantiated scumposting.Thesp wrote:This is an excellent question, and one I am not certain I have the answer of. Your response didn't seem to fit that for me.
They're not jumping on it becauseThesp wrote:I still think your silence on D1 while a townie was being run up (which you'd put your vote on early, then did not detract from nor push for) is notable, and I'm surprised no one else is jumping on it.
No, but it makes it weird that you're singling me out.Thesp wrote:That makes it right, then.Zindaras wrote:I doubt that CDB is the only one who was silent Day One.
Whaaaaaaaat....? I don't agree with this at all. It just reads to me like Patrick thinking aloud, which is something I pick up from him semi-often. I don't see anything wrong with it.Thesp wrote:Without the struck-through quote, he's answered the question of whether or not he thinks it's a scum tell. I don't think the addition of the struck through sentence, "Some ppl argue that scum are less likely to pay attention, but I'm not sure about that", is accidental - he's trying to add extra suspicion on Mgm. Why bother adding that sentence? He's already made his point.Patrick wrote:<snip>
Don't think for a second that speech is accidental.
That was way more concrete than anyone can reasonably be sure about. I don't like this post.Glork wrote:If Thesp is pro-town, Adele and MGM aresodying next.
You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.ChannelDelibird wrote:That was way more concrete than anyone can reasonably be sure about. I don't like this post.Glork wrote:If Thesp is pro-town, Adele and MGM aresodying next.
Can I raise my hand if I think Glork is on something?Fritzler wrote:raise your hand if you think delibird is on speedball right now
*raises hand*
What are your reasons for finding him suspicious?Zindaras wrote:To be honest, I've been thinking a while about changing my vote to Mgm. This may happen later on. Could anyone restate the case against Mgm or tell me where to find it?
:shock:Oh, gosh no. I don't mean that. I just meant that there seem to be some very definate groups of ingroup trust and outgroup suspicionGlork wrote:I know that Fritz and I are vocal enough to count as four or five people, but I wouldn't exactly call us a clique. In fact, Fritz has actually stated recently that he's making a conscious effortNOTto favor any of his buddies for non-game-related reasons. I think you're being a little paranoid over nothing. It's joking and posting style, Adele. If you actually think there's a serious problem with clique-ness and buddying-up, I can request replacement.
Mgm wrote:I'm not confused. I may not have paid attention one or two times, but the "not paying attention count" against me is grossly overstated. Everything other than the times I haven't paid attention is simply a disagreement on gameplay.Nightfall wrote:Then were the votes that were made on Mgm because of his confusion seen as "scummy" to you?Thesp wrote: For the record, I think confusion is far more likely to be exhibited by town.
