Wait a minute, mathcam. I posted first and voted for Stimpy randomly. How the heck is that "hopping on a bandwagon" ?

That's crap logic if I ever heard it.

Of course if the mafia does play cop and we lynch an innocent, then we get him too. 1 townie for 1 mafia is a good trade.

We also have to vote No lynches to make this work, right?

In this type of game setup, it seems that the cop is really the town's only chance (other than luck) to catch a mafia. If we don't protect the cop, he could be killed the first night.

Of course by outing the cop, we are trading at least 1 guaranteed night investigation result for an increased chance that the doctor is killed. And we are also pretty much preventing the doctor from saving anyone else, thereby guaranteeing a mafia kill.

The more I think about it, the worse BlueSin's idea sounds. It's probably just too early.

I guess by that logic, it might be a good idea. But I guess the one that has to be convinced is the cop. And from the lack of role-claims, I'm assuming he hasn't been convinced.

I'm not really sure that I'm all that hesitant. But, like I said before, it's not me you have to convince anyway.

Yeah, Stimpy. What's up with that? If the cop comes out, we should vote No Lynch.

I think with this discussion we (including myself  ) have really screwed up.
If Stimpy is not the cop, we have pared the possible cops down to 2 persons (barring any really tricky playing).
And it is still possible that one of the remaining is the other mafia, meaning the mafia know who the cop is even without he/she coming out.

However, our doctor doesn't know who is mafia and who is not, so he/she cannot be absolutely sure to protect the cop.

Of course this is all based on Stimpy not being the cop, and everyone that implied that they aren't the cop actually not being the cop.

Actually, I stand by my vote.

Your lack of participation is what led me to believe that you were mafia. From the posts, you simply lurked most of the time, while BlueSin posted valid strategies and arguments. He even tried to lengthen the daily conversation.

What else did I have to go on?

And God simply didn't participate. However, in all fairness, I did stack that last vote on a little too quickly. Looking back on it, I may have voted BlueSin, but it would have been a wild guess against my first instincts.
