Goodness gracious. Of course not. The people on the end of that wagon would be hugely suspect. Quicklynching is usually a terrible idea - but running people up to a few votes early on is not. If a vote always meant "intent to lynch right now" then we'd use them a hell of a lot less than we do. The point is even less relevant in this game, where

no matter how many votes we make, nobody will get lynched

Next post will be about trying to find scum rather than arguing theory.

Cheery (I assume it's still N posting), I want(ed) your reads / stances on everyone at the moment, you even quoted where I asked and didn't respond.

I managed to catch Awestfie online earlier and have a discussion with her about initial impressions, she said she was going to post her thoughts in here but I think she fell asleep while typing up the post so I doubt she'll mind if I beat her to the punch. She agrees with both of my HadMatter and Juke town-reads though her Juke town-read is much weaker than mine but she found that Limos opening into the game of a reaction-test in Post 5 with his "Mac would be a good shot" to be a fairly strong town-tell since she thinks mafia wouldn't wouldn't be instantly so open in trying to direct the gunholder, looking back at it I actually agree with her (Feel kind of stupid for not noticing it earlier since I'm meant to be the one teaching her forum mafia not the other way around..)

She has a weak scum-read on Mac, she thinks his reaction towards the reaction test in Post 8 was contrived and awkward - something about the "Good work, Limo" part she found really scummy and she thinks that his Post 34 where he states town-reads on the people pressuring him is him attempting to appease them to re-direct their attention elsewhere while adding the "you could still both be mafia" bit so he can back-track on it later.

This is what I was talking about with the lack of knowledge. This was after the game had started, and the Mafia had already chosen who to give a gun to. I don't see mcqueen saying this as scum who had already chosen a target.

@Limo: I have past experience with mcqueen. I kinda doubt he would do that as scum, especially since I don't think he's played in awhile.

Everyone had to confirm by PM before the game started, so him trying to confirm in-thread kinds of points towards that post being fake.

No. I'm too lazy to go to my PMs, when I can just post in-thread. I don't really see how a /confirm is ever a tell at all.

Can everyone who is on an Alt tell me who they are? A couple have said they've played with me, but you're Townspeople, and I have no idea who your Mains are.

I think I've played with him when he's been town and scum, sad thing is it was ages ago and I don't remember the games that well. I'll probably end up going through his meta sometime in the next few days and see if I can remember if he has any strong tells but I really do need him to post a lot more to get a good feel either way.

Pedit: Juke, I don't really see that as 'lack of knowledge about the setup' more-so just stating that it's a weird setup which I think he'd state regardless of alignment.

Could you please sign your posts, since you're a Hydra? Because I have no idea which head posted this. But I don't remember playing with either head of your Hydra, Regfan's name seems familiar, but I recall only seeing his name, not playing with him, and if I have, it's only been a game or two, I don't remember playing with him as Town and Scum.

I keep forgetting we don't have a lynch, only the Gunbearer. I included a vote out of habit and forgetfulness, not because Jal said he'd keep a VoteCount for us, to make the game a little easier, but I wouldn't mind that.

In another game, someone reminded me of Capcom Crossover, and since only a page was recovered from the 2012 crash, the last post I saw, "kondi2424: It's all mcqueen's fault."



Btw, were we Scum in that game? And we almost had the win, then I died, and I didn't pay attention to the game for awhile, and when I came back, I saw the Town won 3 Teams in a row, to pull-off the comeback, or something like that. I think it was because when I flipped Scum, the Town had obvious tells from my connections with other people.
