Almira Oldham
was a modest, successful practitioner of medicine, steady and set in her ways. She rarely tried new procedures or herbal remedies, but never did she drown a patient in waves of pills and capsules. Intent on caring for the people of the city,
Almira
decided to stay when the crisis began, helping the ill and the wounded recover from their maladies. On this fateful night, she was returning from a quick checkup on one of her favorite patients, when a black limousine ran her off the road and into a ditch, causing her car to flip over and crush the roof, breaking her neck on impact.
Mrs. Oldham
had no time to react, and she was dead.

Janice Ina
had always loved the way people looked at her. Men, women, boys, or girls, it made no difference. Everyone admired her body, and that's the way she liked it. That's why, when given the opportunity, she decided to let people look her over for a living. Why not make money off something you already enjoy, right? And she did indeed make a living, enough that she was able to afford a mansion and three convertibles, one in a sleek dark blue, one in neon pink, and one with rainbow stripes for her most flamboyant days. This evening was definitely a flamboyant day, and the rainbow was out in full force. After driving around for quite some time,
Janice
finally found a customer, a reserved, uptight man in a crisp suit. She went back with him to his car and they drove off together. When they arrived at their destination,
Ms. Ina
was taken in to see "The Boss", and she was never seen again. The next morning, her body was found floating in a river several miles downstream from the city.
Janice Ina
had picked up the wrong customer, or perhaps the wrong customer picked up her? We will never know.

Cymone Jossman
loved his job, so much so that it became his life. He had no family, no friends, no wife. Every day meant more work he could do, and that's what he lived for. However, when the long debates of Indecision's governmental decisions got in the way of progress, he decided something must be done. Along with several others,
Cymone
began plans to take over the city, killing off people of importance and those who opposed him. Tonight,
Mr. Jossman
was working late as usual, when his entire office erupted in flames, trapping him inside. He tried to gather his work and preserve it from the fire, but the flames advanced too quickly. Trapped away from the door,
Cymone
took dashed towards the window and leaped off the windowsill, clutching his briefcase of paperwork. Unfortunately for him, there was nothing to break his fall, and he dashed his head against the asphalt, spilling blood, and his papers, onto the ground.
Cymone
moved feebly for quite some time, attempting to reach his briefcase, but life slowly drained out of him and no help came. The workaholic was a bit too attached to his work, and no one will miss him now that he's gone.

The town of Indecision woke up with mixed feelings, glad that
Cymone
was gone, but depressed at the loss of
Almira
and most especially
Janice
, for she had given much pleasure to the citizens as of late. However, things had to be done, so the town trudged on with the day, searching for clues of the guilty parties responsible.

chamber
, Almira Oldham, doctor, flipped over Night 5
mudbuck
, Janice Ina, roleblocker, disposed of Night 5

Glork
, Cymone Jossman, corrupted mafia thug, burned out Night 5

Announcement from the local newpaper: Votes from last night's mayoral election are still being tallied, so today's edition of Daily Decision will be delayed until the results are available. Thank you for your patience.

(Ibaesha is apparently gone from the site for the time being, so please send me a copy of your mayor vote from last night ASAP)

OMG day!

I thought I was getting scummy vibes from Glork.

And I think I'm still alive. It's been well over a month since we've been here, so I think I'm not the only one who's memory of the game needs to be refreshed before much action can occur.

But yay for day!

Ok, 3 corrupted down, 3 syndicate down. I still have that guilty on Sarcastro, but it's worth knowing what's going on with the mayor situation at least before we lynch. Only one kill last night -- not sure if that indicates a successful roleblock/doc protect, only a SK left, or lazy scum on some side. It's entirely possible we have a completely intact group remaining, but that seems unlikely from probability considerations (plus I think we have all the deaths accounted otherwise).

Okay, I'm confused. I had initially been confused by the roleblocker claims because they seemed so unfounded, but I was wrong on which RB was scum. I did not think Glork was scum.

On the other hand, six down, one identified...possibly one or two scum to go?

And if I'm correct on the cop theory, Yaw would be able to safely reveal last night's result. That should confirm me as the only "productive cop". However, Yaw should probably not reveal it yet, at least until we get feedback from everyone.

here's a list on everyone's status - that should help our replacements

confirmed scum: Sarcastro

almost certainly town (due to night choices): Mari, Yaw, pablito, olio, the goat

claimed something: starkmoon (rep. armlx), TSQ (rep. Vaughn)

thereby leaving only these as publicly unclaimed: alko, MBL, nightson.

Before lynching someone today, I'd like to see at least one of those last three to claim their full role if not all three of them. And I think I have a better idea on who the last scum is now.
Sup, later.

I see no reason to bother getting any of the remaining three to claim without good reason. We're doing perfectly fine without it. If you have a good reason for somebody being the last scum, let's hear it and go about things that way.

I also see no reason to reveal last night's cop choice.

Finally, didn't I call Glork's roleblock claim a fake a while ago? Feh.

Just read over Glork's posts.

Glork was not on the same team as Sarcastro or otherwise that was some blatant bussing. Therefore Sarc is the last syndicate and then we just have to find out who Eon and Glork's scumbuddies were.

I also don't think that armlx's claim - now starkmoon - is anything pro-town.

And also thanks Sarc for offing Glork. I knew there was some benefit to lynching Eon first.

Since it appears that whatever inflicted Vaughn hasn't been going much further, can we assume he was converted pro-town or is this something that needs to be addressed still?

Wait, did Yaw say only one kill last night? I've reread that a couple times, and I'm confused. There were 3 kills last night. Probably both scum groups and maybe an SK? Just to refresh everyone's minds, I did NOT kill last night.

Assume he was converted pro-town? What on earth do you mean by that, even if you believe his claim, he's neutral.

Wait, you're right. I think something about the colour coding made me think there were fewer kills than there actually were. The only night with 1 kill was night 4.
