That is not what "p2win" means.
Try to learn what things mean before parroting them back to others to make yourself feel self important, in threads for subjects that don't interest you.
And if your warped perceptions somehow think that is "p2win", then the MMO genre in its entirety is "p2win".

Ah, I wasn't thinking about it properly.
By the time you are level 80, you will have probably a large amount of karma regardless of how many boosts you used because of all the quests you've done around the world and pretty much everything you do.
So yeah, what I said is wrong. You don't need to grind anything really at all, just play through the game.

You literally know nothing of real world economy, or how money functions, let alone that of any in a game.
Your ignorance isn't an excuse for argument.

Use a Tome of Fate to increase your In-Combat Power Regeneration and In-Combat Morale Regeneration. Fate also increases the chance and magnitude of Criticals on Tactical skills (healing and damage spells).
-----------------
Morale Potions
Drinking a Morale potion restores Morale upon consumption, then continually until expired. Morale potion can be used simultaneously with crafted morale potions and the effects of both will stack. Cooldown is 20 seconds. 5, 10 and 25-stacks available.
----------------------
Trait Slots
Customize and make your character more powerful by unlocking additional Virtue, Class, Race or Legendary Trait Slots to use with your virtues, traits, and legendary abilities.
Yes, those are examples of pay2win things in LOTRO. Not sure what that has to do with the pay2win karmaboosts in GW2. The pay2win in LOTRO is more extreme yes, but just because there are worse examples doesn't make this excusable.
Like I honestly don't see the point you're trying to make there. "Yes it's bad, but it's not as bad as LOTRO?"

I'm still not following, point out where this is in WoW, or any mmo with a $15 a month sub.
Gold farming exists for a reason.

Two players in GW2 with equal characters will be equal regardless of money spent in the cash shop.
Two players in LOTR with equal characters, the person who has bought those items listed above is tangibly stronger than one who did not.
That is the definition of "pay2win".
You not understanding the difference between the LOTR example and GW2 clearly shows that you aren't capable of debating the subject, because it is a subject that you don't understand.
I mean I didn't care with the LoL thread since it was literally for insulting people who play game of the same genre, but start some hater thread if you gotta hate.

Fate is absurdly beautiful. 運命に弄ばれる
"Fate you keep alternating between narratives of doing it for fun and doing it for the sake of winning"
x-boosts mean a lot if you work a dayjob and will only be able to commit a couple hours each night to the game (and
this
is who the game is targeting, not 13 year olds with Mommy's credit card). Arenanet knows their demographic: the pimply teens who played vanilla and first one or two WoW expansions are graduating from college and (theoretically) finding or have stable jobs that they hate.
The boosts are pretty wimpy, but in the end they do affect how many net hours it takes to earn an item. Pretty big for anyone who doesn't have a lot of hours to throw at the game. :/
So high, so low, so many things to know.

so you're saying this is a replacement for gold farming/selling? And you're fine with that being part of a game you played for?

Two players in GW2 with equal characters, the person who has paid money has acquired all their gear quicker and easier than the person who didn't pay anything.
And if you think these karmaboosts are going to be it, come back and quote me in a years time. First they said it would be cosmetic and nothing giving anyone an advantage, now they have things to help you get gear quicker. Slippery slope.
