In most games, if the battery hits 0%, the Day ends with a no lynch, like a deadline in any other game. Given that Days in this game don't have deadlines (Endless War), it seems likely that this is the replacement mechanic to keep Town from just sitting on its ass for days at a time -- that is, its the motivator to lynch in a reasonable amount of time.

Of particular note is that note that Vi put into Endless War ("no advantage in lynching under 48 hours") and the fact that the number didn't increment until 48 hours had passed.

You seem particularly focused on this mechanic and it is sending off warning bells in my mind.

For the record, I don't think the deadlineless days really have any importance other than the importance we create for ourselves.

I don't know how I feel with a MoI lynch. His posts haven't really seemed particularly townie, but I do have a statement. Why would MoI as a hydra allow Magua to say the "if Glork ain't killed N1 he is scum" when MoI himself continually is susceptible to the exact same shit?

In fact I even think in Faraday and Seacore's recent Game of Thrones game (name is escaping me) MoI lived to the end and Magua said "if he lives past a certain day he is likely scum" in the the dead thread in response to my question "What is a reliable way to discern MoI's alignment?"

It makes me feel like that slot is town as it would be a dumb move to make on his part, but I can't put the uneasy feeling out of my mind.

My three suspects, mainly, are Nexus, Gammagooey, and GreyIce

For now I am only going to go into detail about Nexus, but I have noticed each make in my opinion an awkward connection between the three.

Nexus has done literally *nothing* this entire Day. His comments have been filler and contain no scumhunting. His most recent post? A sneaky way to make katsuki look scummier for not answering GreyIce's questions.

Now, Toasty, you're going to reconcile the above for me. In order:

1) Attacking Katsuki is scummy
2) Katsuki's play is terrible awful
3) You failed to stick Katsuki anywhere in the town scum list.

So where does Kats go? If attacking him is awful, I'd expect strong town, so why is he there? If he's somewhere else, why is attacking him awful?

Interesting. I'm trying to make sense of a similar issue. MoI declaring Spyrex's attack on me to be scummy and one of the reasons he's scum while at the same time saying I'm not town.

To be fair, he didn't state that. He said that the Glork issue should resolve itself and to revisit it in a few days if he's still alive.

Couple things: Do you think that Magua asks Magna what he's allowed to say in the thread? Why wouldn't Magua say something that is a stance he's stated in the past? Besides, whether or not MoI is scum, if they're alive a couple days from now there's going to be people who question that no matter what so it costs neither of them anything to state something that is both patently obvious and is a regular occurrence. And, he's essentially telling us not to pay attention to them right now in the process.

i personally liked the part of katsuki's iso where he showed suspicion of more than one player instead of attacking and revoting the same player multiple times to look like they're doing something with next to no effort to convince anyone to actually lynch them

yeah im kind of being an asshole here but grey seriously comments on who else you find scummy would be nice if solely to prevent hypothetical you-scum from going without comments on other players until you can make a better decision on whether to push on their lynch later or not

also i personally think you as scum would do what you're doing now and tunnel stupid hard on a scummy player and then try to keep doing that to the next scummy player and the next and then late game if one lived bring up how hard you've been pushing them all game they're obviously scum or if the ones you pushed on hard are dead attack other players for suddenly suspecting you and joining you on the wagons when if they "really thought you were scum" or some horseshit then they'd have went after you earlier
