Yeah, as Ythan commented, one variant of the traitor is exactly that role you just described; it doesn't get recruited, and isn't investigative immune.

Also, if you're talking about a roleclop, it doesn't screw with it that much since mafia goons usually show up as vanilla town to rolecops.

Vanilla goons have three things to support their factional wincon. Confirmation, communication, and a shared kill. That version of the traitor is just a goon without any of those.

Your wincon is basically a D1 only Jester.

Not quite. D1 Jester is one way to win, and the other is Town Survivor who can't post. (In a bastard game, a player who's not posting at all and yet not being prodded may well survive until a town victory, I guess, although they'd risk a policy lynch the day before lylo, so town would have to win by quite a margin.)

EDIT: Just noticed the "until endgame", which means that it's actually Neutral Survivor, as you'd wake up in time for the scum to endgame you, which is not dying in your sleep.
