kicking off some discussion with some notes, I haven't done this in a while.

I haven't heard this band the first time around but this was so amazing and it shocked me that it didn't win or get top 5 last time; might be just because it's right up my alley

ew repetitive

ew wrong song choice. I think IP mentioned somewhere that he was going to submit inches and falling, that would have been nice.

this isn't bad. a bit whiny but not terrible

it's no don't speak, but it'll do.

This was out of left field and wasn't bad (haha, pun)

placebo, the epitome of boring to me

the heavy's pretty jazzy, haters gonna hate. I actually found out that this song is on driver: SF, so consider this my "video game" entry even though I have an infinitely better "video game" entry coming in the context of video games. but this is awesomely produced; who purposefully keeps their sound quality low? that's a stylistic choice people

....mehhh

quirky. I'll leave that up to you as to whether or not that's a bad thing

This was a great effort. I didn't quite enjoy it that much in the realm of the SC, but don't give up songmaking. keep your tone steady.

stay a while, and listen. good memories. not sure if it'll be nostalgic enough to score points but eh

hey is that the pokemon snap rainbow cloud theme

wow, congrats on picking one of the not-too-mainstream but still mainstream enough to be hated by the hipsters songs from MCR

somethingalamode is....okay.

I have a mashup ready if we're still doing that and SUPER HAPPY LYRICAL GENIUS if we're not.

Also I'll get to my votes tomorrow night. Been busy with work. Don't yell at me DH/Matias/Matty-Mat-Matt. :(

Shamed? It was a mistake, sorry. If you wanna have my votes pre-results that's fine, but i'd rather as few people see it as possible, either way I voted so wooooo victorious.

At least you didn't forget to send it to the account and then bitch afterwards as if posting in the thread counted

Feedback
:

Mali : I am no somking weed so it feels wierd.
Ireland : Lovey Dovey. I'm not ashamed of like it for the purpose of missing someone. A little bit repetitive at the end.
Macedonia : Not bad but not my thing either.
Peru : Feels like being 15 again.
Italy : Creepy clip but music if OK.
France : A little bit too alternative. Some things should remains unknown on purpose. It's not bad though.
Germany : Marina is wonderful but that's bot her best song ever. Plus I drink Champagne on a regular basis because I live nearby the production region, so ...
Vatican City : Old school is to be respected.
Denmark : Not bad. The music is good, text are average at best and the singer isn't anything particular.
Chile : Classic Placebo.
Palestine : That's good stuff.
Sweden : ^^ I listen that metalcore a lot, that one song could use lyrics in clear and a little bit more variety in composition. If you want to submit metal at least post something very good.
Bhutan : Deconstructed music is too arrogant to be good.
England : While I appreciate the effort, it can't compare with the rest of the submission. Next time use noise filters.
Heart : That kind of rock was popular a while ago, it isn't my thing in particular though I like the female singers.
Tristan da Cunha : No point listening to that music outside of the game. It's not something that is intended to be separated from it.
Switzerland : Great in concert, a lot worse outside of that context.
Scotland : Feels like I'm 15 once again.
Canada : Seems like old school rock is on everyone's mind. Not bad.
Isreal : Catchy, trendy, light-hearted. Pop music at its best.
Flanders & Wallonia : I'm a fan though I am too old to have played this version of pokemon. Probably not the best choice for a song contest as I believe there is better song inside the pokemon soundtrack.
Brazil : A little bit too epic to listen outside of the game, but it's still a great orchestration.
Laos : BritRock is the making. Sometimes I got bored of hearing the same orchestration, same kind of music all the time.
Swaziland : I am not a fan of russian componist >< And it doesn't pass the criteria of a song contest because the piece of music is separated from the componist so it shouldn't be evaluated along with modern music.
Guatemala : I'm a rebel, I hate mainstream music     Seriously !?

More like Belgium is dead to Flanders ...

Yeah I used componist, because I thought it was the same as in german (Komponist) I speak 3 language on a regular basis and sometimes I do anglicism, germanism or gallicism. That happens. I think the use of the word is transparent though.

You might want to review your own classification system. It sounds like metalcore.
