actually, i'm with amrun here tbh considering ann wilson was a sufferer of stress-induced panic attacks due to criticisms about her weight and pressure from the record companies and picking on her seems kind of low

she's an incredibly talented vocalist, her weight is completely irrelevant

I don't memorize people's lives like that. More concerned with the music.

I have seen them live, though, and they totally rocked my socks off.

I was a casual fan of them until then. Saw they happened to be playing in a city I was visiting, so I got my mom to take me since I'm morally obligated to spend time with her and she would have heard of this band as well.

They were AMAZING. I hope I still sing that well when I'm 60. Holy crap.

It was a huge outdoor arena and we only had lawn tickets, which can sometimes be not-the-best-shows unless you're with friends to liven it up, but it was one of the best shows I have ever been to. If a band fucking KILLS IT all the way on the lawn, they're really killing it.

All I was doing was lamenting at the fact that she's not super hot anymore. I'll refrain from having opinions anymore in the future. I can't believe anyone on either side is making a big deal out of this, especially enough to type mini-walls about it.

You guys are nuts (and Amrun is SUPER sensitive) so I'm just going to stop talking about this now.

Um, that wouldn't make it matter... I can say that I am annoyed about something without making it matter.

You do realize you are arguing that because I commented on Fugitive criticizing a singer's appearance, I am making her appearance relevant to the quality of her music, right?

Fugitive, I'm not super sensitive at all. I just have a stance on this particular issue and am totally free to express it just as you are totally free to say that you hate that Ann isn't as pretty at 60 as she was at 20.

Yep. Jury's still out on Takk, since I haven't listened to it enough to rank it with those two... don't want to listen to Von or whatever their most recent is, though. Heard neither are that great.
