Not surprised ThAd suddenly wants me dead really badly. But, uh, minor flaw in your me!scum theory. 1.) I voted (and encouraged other people to vote) Ghostlin, when other people wanted to move to a Silver wagon. 2.) I investigated Nocmen. 3.) I killed Empking. 4.) For scum!me to be right, I would have had to have bussed pretty much my entire team right out of the gate, and then continued bussing them all game despite the fact that it probably would have been smarter to die for the team and hope someone else lived to carry on the game. So this makes sense as scumplay

There is no contradiction in my kill of Empking. One of the last things I said D2 was that although Empking might flip town, I didn't want to risk Emp!scum riding a fake town-alignment-shift to victory. And he claimed scum. And goddamnit, there is no reason

Y'know what? Let's try something. The way I see it unless there's 2+ anti-town left (doubtful, for balance reasons) ThAd is pretty much the only possible scum left due to claim synergy and whatnot. Since I lose if I'm dead even if town wins, can we lynch him first? And if he's not anti-town or he is anti-town but the game doesn't end... well... we can cross that bridge when we come to it, if we come to it. Which I hope we don't, cuz it would suck to get a guilty on one scum and a successful kill on another and

My last ability is the atypical one, the one I mentioned in my initial claim.

I can send a message confirming myself and my role to someone on the Other Side using the typewriter from Our Side (which I guess Massive Dynamic came into possession of or something, although I don't remember that from the show specifically one way or the other. Maybe Newman does? I know it was shown in a recent episode, but I don't think anything was said one way or another about MD being involved).

I didn't think there was any usefulness to this given that the whole game I was thinking that anyone from the Other Side is scum, and why the hell would I want to tell scum my entire role? ...but if Bump and Newman are both claiming to be Other Side!town, I guess it makes sense, and it balances out the fact that there were obviously people given false role information about me.

I don't have any other abilities, and this is a one-shot too, so I guess I'm as good as dead if ThAd's not the last anti-town and my ability doesn't work. ._.;;

Here's how it worked. At the beginning of the game, I was told I had to make a decision to side with either Walter Bishop or Walternate and become either a Vanilla Townie or Mafia Goon without access to the QuickTopic. I'm a Vanilla Townie. This is why I've insisted that Newman's information has been incorrect as it would mean the game was originally designed with 3 third party roles (well, yeah, I don't stay that way forever, but it's still swingy) and why I figured Walternate is scum.

In the episode aired a week ago, Walter had Olivia try to use telepathy to manipulate the typewriter, in order to help Peter (struggled to word that, to avoid spoilers for those who aren't caught up! )

Im under the impression that all alternatives are scum, so far all our flips have been that way, but a lot of people are claiming alternatives, is there any flavor in the show that could indicate who is scum and who is not?

Alt Diane Broyles is probtown. IIRC she was extremely grateful to real Olivia for saving her daughter and convinced Alt Phillip to do something (can't remember what) to aid real Olivia. Walternate had him killed for that.
