It was just another day at North Harbordale Elementary School. Play, go to class, eat, play some more, go back to class, and go home. Pretty predictable routine.

Well, now you kids have a curveball thrown at you. Yes, you've known that the school has had bullies since you started attending, but now it's getting horrendous. The nurse's office is filled with people with severe injuries—and some of them aren't even students here. No one remembers the last time it got bad, but Principal Beau Vine sure as heck isn't doing anything—he's taking his sweet time daydreaming of when everyone's in conformity with society. Well, guess what: conformity right now means taking people you don't like out.

RULES

1. This is a closed setup, which means the only roles you will know in advance are your own and that of any other player I mention in your role PM. All other role information is secret, including how many players with a certain role exist and even if the role exists in the first place. Yes, a game with absolutely no vanilla townies is possible. It's been done before.
   
2. The preferred voting method is to put vote tags around the player's name, but I will still accept the old method of bolding the word "vote" followed by said player's name, e.g. VOTE: StrangerCoug or
   Vote: StrangerCoug
   . As long as I can tell to whom you are referring, spelling does not count and I will accept abbreviated or otherwise shortened forms of the name of the vote's recipient. You may also VOTE: No Lynch. I no longer require unvotes.
   
3. A majority of votes is required for a lynch, even at deadline. Once a lynch has been decided, it is final and further votes and unvotes do not count for the current day. If deadline is reached with no player having enough votes for a lynch, the day ends in an automatic No Lynch.
   
4. Once you die, I'll allow one "bah" post that doesn't contain any game-related content if you wish to make it, but you must thereafter stop posting in the game. Said "bah" post is the only post a dead player may make during twilight. Living players may continue to talk during twilight as long as they follow all of the rules.
   
5. You are not forced to like each other, but the fact that you badly want so and so offed does not give you the right to insult him or her. Please keep your hatred of people or groups thereof to yourself. Profanity is not in and of itself banned, but if it gets out of hand, it falls under this rule.
   
6. Do not hide text or otherwise hinder its readability by using spoiler tags, invisible or encrypted text, etc. You may, however, post in any color that can be easily read against the forum background other than
   purple
   . (I know it sounds arbitrary to forbid a specific color, but I'm saving my favorite color for mod use since I am the mod )
   
7. Impersonating the moderator is prohibited.
   
8. Unless you're the moderator (that's me, obviously), co-moderator (that's nobody), or backup moderator (that's Vi) of this game, please do not delete or edit any posts in this thread.
   
9. You are not allowed to discuss this game outside of the thread unless I tell you otherwise, nor are you allowed to discuss other ongoing games in this thread.
   
10. Do not quote or pretend to quote any private communication, either from me or from anyone else you are allowed to talk with at night. This includes your role PM. 12. I will issue a prod to any player that does not post for 72 hours without notifying me of his or her absence. (I'm sorry, but I do not check the V/LA thread. Failure to do so may result in replacement. Keep in mind that I have the board time down to the second. I will only prod the same player twice—after that, he or she must post every 72 hours to ensure that he or she remains in the game.

You decide that this one person's acting suspicious, so it's time to get rid of her. Jump ropes are easy to come by at elementary schools, so you pull one out, find a tree, and hang her from it.

A search of her things reveals a briefcase with a bunch of legal documents. Nothing indicated that she was partaking in the bullying going on at the school. In fact, she was the concerned mother of one of the kids being bullied—Ms. Mudd. Good luck getting a lawyer around here, because you offed her.

When you get to school and head to class, you pass by the principal's office and notice that somebody has broken in. One of you carefully unlocks the door from the other side, being careful not to cut yourself on the glass, and lets the rest of you in to see. Somebody had filled a sock with wet sand, tied the open end off, and used it to bludgeon Principal Vine. As favoritist as he was to the bullies, you decide that somebody watching over a bunch of elementary school kids is better than nobody watching over a bunch of elementary school kids.

Strangling people is the only real way of getting rid of bullies using your own devices, so you don't heed his cries for mercy. Then you remember—he really hasn't caused much trouble. Unfortunately, it comes to mind too late—you've choked all the air out of him.

Another victim of the great schoolyard fight would be found at the yard itself this time, and this time it's the bullies that lost one of their own. Jeremy, the jock that liked sticking other people in trash cans, was put in one himself. Not only that, but most of his fur is gone, with what's left over being singed. Someone's gotten sick and tired of this!

It was a hunt for who was left among those that harassed the heck out of everybody. Who among the students remained?

According to werewolf, the number of votes on Zyrc was wrong. If you can remember, and if you can confirm it for us, what was the number of votes on Zyrc prior to the fix?

I don't remember, but most of my mod errors where the listed number of votes is not the number of actually posted names are off-by-one errors.

• For the first time in any of my modded games, including my one game off-site, town mislynched every time and
  STILL WON!
  I thought Day 3 that the town was done for, but on Day 4 I started seeing a light at the end of the tunnel for town, and Zyrconium got it there. You have him to thank for pulling this off. (Vi and I are surprised werewolf555 killed Parama instead of Zyrconium Night 3, which probably factors into this as well.)
  
• I have reason to believe that LlamaFluff and I have the same favorite character from the comic—he told me in his confirmation PM that he hated me for not rerunning the randomizer until he got Millie.
  
• Empking, regarding post #92, I am indeed known for the StrangerCoug's Worst Nightmare series, but Parama made a good point two posts later. In addition, SWN is a series of bastard mod games, which this game was not. Granted, I threw a couple curveballs at you (there was a miller but no cop and one of the title characters was a scum fakeclaim), but still...

Vi wanted a 10:2 (an 11:2 when 13-player games were approved for minis). If played with the originally conceived setup, this would have been a 9:3.

I should note that the originally planned setup had a way to screw the scum over, too. I had Timulty as a fakeclaim for Principal Vine, who would have been a godfather, and I had Mililani as a cop. (I don't think anything else was different.) With that setup, if scum had gotten lynched Day 1 and the Mudds each targeted a different one of the remaining scum, then Mililani would have to investigate Vine and/or die for the scum not to be screwed Day 2.
