If you're bored, read this game with a focus on DGB. It's worth the time. I have, on more than one occasion, joined a game primarily to see what the heck DGB's gonna pull in it.

That said, I'm getting a gut read as well.

If you're referring to the first part, it is not a joke. DGB is one of my favorite mafia players, as she plays the game to have fun as opposed to winning.

If you're referring to the second part, well done! You have successfully deduced that I have read my role PM, and therefore cannot have a gut read on myself.

Yeah I've been in a slight cat-nap for the past 22 months but now that i'm up I feel like being called an idiot by a bunch of strangers online again! Ahhh... good times right?

I actually wanted to start off slow and join a small game but I keep getting rejected, and luckily just happened to fall into this one. Nothing personal, but hey you still get to enjoy my company here. Although If I remember correctly you always had some good theme games... Count me in for the next one eh?

As for me, I started writing a book about the inevitable failures of over-procrastination and the dangers of not replacing batteries in alarm clocks... it is not going well....

What would the response have been? And talking to Chevre about what? You made this craptacular post that didn't say anything but was disguised as content.

Would you be any more suspicious if he had claimed to be a paranoid gun owner? Or an unlynchable? Or a professional dog walker? Seriously, what the hell is that? serious, how can you all start voting his quick.. I mean the game hardly started.

anyway, I don't think he really has a restriction (it's a normal game, I don't expect lots of strange side-things in this game) I think he just wants to draw the attention. he's just joking

@Korlash: Yeah, read at least the OP of Gorrad's Favorite Fictional Characters mafia. I think you'll approve. My next theme will likely be a sequel to it or Webcomic Wars. I've also been tossing around doing something involving the Blackest Night event in the DC universe.

Dutch, you're new here so slack shall be cut. Look up the Random Voting Stage in the wiki. Basically, at the start of the game a whole bunch of people are silly and vote randomly. Then one person says 'OMG the RVS suxxorz' and there's a big debate over whether or not to have an RVS. Depending on which side has more, either the most vocal person for or against the RVS is the D1 lynch. The game proceeds from there.

For those who would call me out on this, the above is satire. Satire is a type of social commentary that uses sarcasm and hyperbole (not the round thing, that's a hyperbola. Hyperbole is exaggeration), possibly in conjunction with juxtaposition.

Hi guys, this is my second game on here. My first game wasn't a full game for me, joined in as a replacement later on

Yay, activity. I've just read through 3 pages and I'm a bit confused on inHim and nocase (I think). You say you have a post restriction, as RedCoyote (epicmafir-er!) pointed out is highly unlikely, but said nothing more about it. Also I see posts like this:
lol, rhetoric.
If a post restriction means what I think it means, you just wasted a post.

Vote: Gorrad.

Sorry I replied a little bit late, I live in a different time-zone and because my computer is broke (he will be replaced in a few days) I couldn't post earlier.

@Gorrad, I'm new here at this website but this is already my 5th large game, so I'm not a newbie. And I know what RVS is (usually I'm the only one who uses it and I always have a discussion about it), but you are all using it really quick. I didn't expect that.
And I didn't notice there were more than 3 pages in the thread, I only saw the first one, so what I said about all the votes was a reply to the first page (I can't edit it).

But he didn't ignore it. He said he was just going to ignore it, but it looked like he wanted you to post more on it. He didn't look at the abilities like other people.
I did look at the abilities silly. I also looked that other people looked at the abilities and found similar results, absolutely nothing. So, ultimately, I was waiting for him to say he didn't have a post restriction which was my suspicion all along. And I think you came to the same conclusion.

It wasn't disguised as content, it's a simple question directed at Chevre surrounded by the special korlash sauce. And if you want to get anal about stuff like that your vote didn't have a shred of "content" backing it up either. Also the response would have been one of those killer laugh out loud and have all of your workplace look at you funny jokes, but sadly I've never been able to do one of those...

I feel as though the whole post-restriction thing was a hapless and pointless event. Sure it made a semi-interesting start to this game, but it appears to be finished on page three where the participants are like "well we really don't have post restrictions hur hur."

That being said, nocase and inHimshallibe, why would you lie about having a post restriction? Certain philosophies would have you lynched under that statement.

Korlash, I was suspicious of the person claiming to have an "ability" that made no appearance on the list the Moderator gave to us. Yes, I would be suspicious even if he had claimed Paranoid Gun Owner or Unlynchable, but I'm more suspicious because he claimed an ability that was not listed.

Seraphim, of course I assumed he was lying, but he still needs to explain why he did it.

And that would make sense to me. Yet you made it seem as though you were suspicious simply because it was a normal game. In your "summary" post you failed to mention the list in any way and simply used the fact that this was a normal game to explain your suspicions.
