That said, there is an angle here I now find disturbing.

@Admiral - the way you phrased your desire to end the argument now looks weird to me. By the sheer fact of you backing off in the way you did tends to suggest that you believe that DH legitimately believes his Far_Cry standpoint. If he really believes it then how is it scummy?

First bit is correct.

As to the second bit: it's more that I believe he's very stubborn and I know he's not going to change his mind one bit. I don't see the point in arguing any more with him, and I've already stated how I feel so the rest of the town can make up their own minds on the situation based on that.

DH is basically hitting it on the head as to what angle I'm coming from. Your language seems to indicate a belief that DH is town minded - which would suggest you shouldn't be advocating him to lynch, which means you're doing so under a false premise. Scum wouldn't be being 'stubborn' about a town read on a townie. Also, I can't see any scum advantage for DH to be playing the game like he is, and suspect you'd be a good enough player to see that as well.

Ok, much as I hate to admit I'm wrong, ThAdmiral's attack of DH today is ridiculous when I look at it now. I thought the jimfinn debacle was a pretty flimsy reason to suspect him at the start, and he also hasn't been responding too reassuringly. He's subsequently trying to disown the Cassandra argument and hold on to it.

I'm still not completely sure of DH, but concretely, everything he's done has helped town thus far.

I also think Far_Cry needs to de-lurk and weigh in. He's not completely out of the clear for me yet.

Well I guess we have a different understanding of language as I think someone can be "stubborn" about keeping to their position, even if that position is a lie (in fact, especially if that position is a lie). In any case my sentence wouldn't have made sense If I changed the word stubborn for lying. It would have read: "I believe he's very lying".

Well it seems I am the lynch for the day. I'd complain about being voted because of a misunderstanding, but at the end of the day mafia is about that a lot of the time (being a game based on, you know, communication).

Before claiming I'd like to ask DH a question:

Yo, Far_Cry, since this post I'm quoting all you've done is demand for Admiral to claim. In the post prior to the one I'm quoting you actually still seemed to be riding the 'don't trust DH' wagon. Where are you now? How do you feel about DH? How do you feel about Admiral? What are your thoughts on the current wagon of him?

@Admiral - I agree with the other players, I don't see much of a reason to delay claiming for this current tack. Quite frankly, I think delaying a claim is pretty durn scumtastic. As the adage (roughly) goes - summarizing a role PM takes seconds, crafting a good fake claim takes a lifetime.
