IMHO, the fact that they haven't claimed yet pretty much confirms that they're scum. As DGB's sig says: Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds. Crafting a good fakeclaim takes an eternity. Rewq lynch will have to wait for tomorrow, if we try to pull one now, it could seal a NL.

It is WerdRa that the people of the Council surround now. Suspicions have rung from every corner, but somehow they all converge on WeirdRa. He must be the one to blame for all of this. There are too many, and they don’t have enough time but they do have a sword. It’s the right sword, and it’s all they’re going to need to kill.

He protests. He pleads. He claims to be your friend, a true member of the Council; he’s valuable and he’s loyal. But the lynchers are desperate, and with disparate weapons they launch at WeirdRa from all sides, as if emulating the warriors of old will turn this into an honorable fight and ensure that the person they kill is truly an enemy.

“PAH, ORC BLOOD!” one of you yells when WeirdRa is pierced. But wait. It’s not Orc blood. It’s . . . worse. It’s black and smoke and smog and darkness pouring out of WeirdRa and seems to fill the sky and choke out the sun. And WeirdRa grows into something tall and fierce and terrible, more than you can imagine, a walking nightmare which will haunt you forever now – which has always haunted you.

The first night of the Council of Elrond was the darkest night that Rivendell had seen in ages. But this is not mere darkness; this is the blackness from the depths of Sauron's corrupted core. It was a good day's work, of course, but you can't shake the feeling that the worst was yet to come.

You curl up in a thick blanket and for the night. The insects are quiet. The only thing you hear is the beating of your own heart. You don't exactly want to fall asleep, not with everything still out there. You don't trust everyone else at the Council. You might be the next victim. But there's still some enchantment left in the Last Homely House, and somewhere in the middle of the night you drift off into vague nightmarish dreams that fade away into a sense of unease and worry.

The Second Day of the Council of Elrond: You arrive early and meet outside the Council chamber. Everyone trades wary glances, but finally you realize that no one else is coming.

There are only nineteen of you alive.

Together you search Rivendell. Not one of you leaves the group. You don't dare; anyone who does might get hunted down by you know not exactly what.

First you find LynchMePls lying in the hall outside his room. He had been dragged from where he died, as there was a path of blood leading from outside the manor. There is a strange, tortured expression on his face, incongruously horrifying where you'd expect to see a friendly grin.

You take his body outside to the gardens, intent on mourning him properly - but it's immediately apparent that something very wrong has happened here, too. Out of the sky an Eagle has fallen. You move forward, intent on burying the dead properly, but before you can begin you see signs of still another struggle. There is blood among the grass and flowers of the lawn. You know what it means immediately. Someone else has died here. There is a trail of broken steps and then arrows sticking out of MemoriaEsponia's chest where he's fallen. Dead. To many dead fallen in defense of Middle-earth.

As soon as you can, you pull yourselves together and head back inside to the Council chamber. Maybe there's someone else missing, but you don't want to find someone else dead.

You can't count on hope. Just inside the doorway lies another body, lying limply on the floor. Drippereth. And that's definitely one death too many because some people just shouldn't die, you want to say. Especially not like that they shouldn't. especially not him; he was

Well, I guess at least two scum groups make sense with that many deaths (from the previously dead scum and the NK methods, I'd guess Nazgul vs orc). Plus at least one vig and another SK? And yet Zwet still lives...

I'm going to have to do a full re-read. LMP was my main suspect and this changes everything. I'll be focusing on rewq, I think.

My suspicion of rewq still carries over from yesterday for all the same reasons, and I still think he looks scummy, even with WeirdRa's flip - maybe even more so with WeirdRa's flip since he tried to push other wagons for a long time and then finally came in with the hammer in a way that looked calculated to appear town if he knew what the flip was going to be.

I also found SlySly kind of suspect near the end of the day. He made a late push to change the lynch away from WeirdRa. But with his interaction with Rewq and his push for Rewq to the be the alternate lynch, I think he and rewq cannot be scumbuddies.

One thing I noted was that Mariyta was that I think the first person to vote Weird, gave some pretty clear reasons for it (and reiterated those reasons later) and stuck to her guns on that. We clearly have more than one scum team so I can't say that makes her town, but she's definitely not on Sauron's scumteam.

Altogether, I found Rewq to be scummiest overall for all the reasons I already gave yesterday. I want to see more from SlySly before I decide. Having looked at the dead parties (aside from gandalf, who I'm pretty sure was vigged), rewq had drawn suspicion from pretty much all of them and ME had called out Sly and to a lesser extent so had LMP.

LMP was a weak doctor (dies if they protect scum).

I do NOT think LMP was a scum kill or a vig kill - I think they hid behind scum AND announced at the end of the day who they were hiding behind because they wanted JUST THIS to happen.

So MR Choker if you are town or want to pretend to be town there's a good choking list.
