Hey you guys should stop arguing over definitions of bandwagon-ing.
I had a game where 10 pages were dedicated to the definitions of "bandwagoning," "defensive," and "reacting."
Which was horribly annoying to read through. I don't want this game to follow the same path.
unvote, vote:silverbullet for doing this to us.
Umm... wow

Nevermind... most noble and holy...

Could you please quote where the argument of a definition for the term bandwagoning was made?

I thought I merely asked Raz if he thought I was bandwagoning him.

Apparently I in my eternal ignorance and unenlightedness am horribly wrong.

So please nevermind, Enlighten me.

he didn't disguise it, he stated it clearly, nice and bold :D
I didn't see any disguise, but I'm not very good at looking.

@silverbullet
if bandwagoning was clearly defined, you wouldn't be asking "did you think i was bandwagoning you"
it'd be kinda equivalent to asking "did you think i was voting you"
so you're aiming to argue about definition of bandwagon.

For reasons of suspicion

Your assumption as to me wanting to argue about the definition of bandwagoning is horribly wrong

Your assumption is bad... don't assume things until they are shown to be true

Dearest nevermind... so unique and .... special

Just wanted to note that this is a HORRIBLE comparison.

You are voting me, there is no question to it

It is forever fact

an opinion of one's actions is a different story

It is similar to asking.. do you find me scummy?
or what do you think of him for doing this?

An opinion good sir... an opinion indeed

I may be playing this because I got burned last Mafia game I played by this exact situation, if so I sincerely apologize. But Silver, when you try to disguise your vote like that by claiming because you were the first to post, you therefore would have no part to play in the bandwagon lynching of Raz (if it got to that point), that just seems super scummy to me. Making it seem like it was a "harmless little vote" (or so thats what it seemed like you were trying to do) and trying to play down the fact that your vote is still one very important vote, and only 5 of those are needed to lynch... makes me think you are scum. Last time I believed it was an "accident" and then I was killed the next night by that person. >_> So like I said, this may just be because I'm scarred by a previous game, in which Silver I apologize and I'll take my suspicions off of you for the moment if you can give a valid reasoning as to why you phrased your choice of words the way you did, but please explain yourself Silver, or else my vote will be changing from Ups to you as the most suspicious person playing right now.

Also, Ups if you're reading this and haven't responded to any of my questions to you yet, this post is just to inform you before you post again, that there are questions awaiting your attention. :) (Just so you don't miss them.)

Time out... you are vastly mis interpreting my post good sir

All I have simply asked of Raz is HIS opinion on if my vote... to him... is a bandwagon or not.

Could you please quote... lovely neil... where I am attempting to downplay my vote?
Where did I claim i was the first to post? (That in its entirety confuses me).
Where have I tried downplaying my vote?
Where have I stated... or (to you) left this impression that my vote was harmless?
Where have I said or again left the impression that... if somehow with some form of magic, three more people hopped on and hammered Raz, did I say I take no responsibility and it was beyond my control?

It brightens my heart with joy to see such a reply. I like how specific you are with what you are somehow confused with thus enabling me to better explain said section.
Or is that post as a whole truly flying over your head.

I'll put it in your terms
I want to know if Raz thinks I'm bandwagoning him. I want his OPINION on it, I would then have a follow up question about what he says after.
You are assuming that I want to argue about the definition of bandwagoning.
Assuming makes and ass out of you and... actually just you.
You now look scummier than previous for that said post.

Understand?

Neil: I meant- "Why do -you- [Nevermind] assume the best of Razgriz?"
Cause by dismissing my point, while attacking Silver for something tangentially related, it seemed that he was assuming the best of Razgriz.

Yes, that's what I meant about Raz, that he does have some control about the votes after, and the "ensuing" band-wagon. Cause you can always unvote...

I frankly don't care what his definition of bandwagoning is.
I just want to know if he believe I am... and then again a follow up question (not relating to the definition of bandwagoning)
(insert definition of assume here)
If we had started arguing about it, your post would be all well and good.
And it would actually be justified in a sense.
Now it's not... and will prove to be false.

as a follow-up question, it should be related in a way to the original question, which was about bandwagoning.
how could a follow-up question not be related to bandwagoning then?

Raz:
No. I can't control what happens on voting after I vote. I was the first to vote, and one or two others followed which then made it a bandwagon, which was caused by the peeps who decided to vote after me.
Crap.

It is scummy. 'Cept, it twas Razgriz that said this sort of thing (almost exaclty) about his vote for Yoenit (who now has 3 ---> a bandwagon). Regardless of the order of votes, I'd say you're bandwagoning if you are a voter. If you're comfortable with being one of the 3 people voting him, then (unless you are wary and overly-cautious) you should be fairly comfortable with being the third person to vote. It's not exactly the same decision, but it's not as disimiliar as Razgriz would like us to believe.

In scanning a few ISO's quickly, I'd like to note that Raz, Spadille, and Nevermind have almost totally steered clear of each other this game. They have hardly mentioned each other's names. Razgriz's SINGLE mention of Nevermind was including him on his list as a neutral read, with a brief explanation. That's it. Nevermind hadn't spoken about Spadille or Razgriz until just recently on this page, but mostly as incidental to his strange attack on Silver.

While it's not exactly kosher to speculate in depth about pairings and teams until you have one real dead scum body, and while Chaim, Spadille, ESPECIALLY Yoenit don't have a lot of posts to look at so far, I'm going to go ahead and tentatively call the scums 2 of Spad, Raz, and Nevermind.

I think that Nevermind and Raz may be more guilty of that than Spadille. Focusing and only speaking about the more active/prominent players is an indicator that someone is only following what's happeneing, and not formulating or experiencing suspicions of their own.

As a little ranking of my own to put things into perspective, here's my list. (Keep in mind, this list is subject to change. This is only the "for now" suspects.)
Ranked from Most Likely Scum to Most Likely Town (ignored myself on this list for obvious reason...)

1. Ups (I really don't have much doubt he would be scum. And if the two mafia are doing what is expected of them, they'd try to blend in their arguments with one another so that nobody could pick any specific reason to pair the two up. Although ironically, with Ups being new and Raz being rather new, it seems to make sense if they made this mistake to both vote for the same person... (looking at the Yoenit votes)...
SCUM READ

2. Razgriz (I've had a sneaky suspicion from the start ever since his vote for me at the beginning 'what he "claims" is RVS' actually had me look into him more. Also either ironic, or another slip up is that Raz has failed during his listing on pg2, to pay any attention to his partner in crime Ups. He innocently gets a town read from him, not even worthy of getting an investigation from Raz. Then again, why should Raz investigate or question his partner?)
SCUM READ

3. Nevermind (Just been watching his play, he's fresh off the street in his experience and he seems to try and contribute when he can. If anything, I'd say I'm leaning more towards town on him but I can't quite clear him yet, my gut won't let me.)
NEUTRAL READ

4. Spadille (Newer as well, and his play has a bit of wisdom in it, though lack of experience could be a key issue if he is a townie as I suspect.)
TOWN READ

5. Silverbullet999 (I can't think of many suspicious things concerning him, though I can name several times when he's helped us with logical views concerning others. Thus my read of...)
TOWN READ

6. Civil Scum (It's funny, because if I trust anyone right now... it'd be Civil. Weird right? Stupid gut...)
MAJOR TOWN READ

Not Ranked:

Vinicius Chaim (Has posted, but hasn't given us much yet. I can't get a read off of him... though if I had to trust my gut just from what little I know, I'd say at best he'd be around Neutral.)
Yoenit (Hasn't even posted anything of worth yet?)

Sorry for being not posting for so long. Despite what Neil says I haven't touched a pc since I last posted. I have quickly read most of the thread, but no doubt missed some things. For now, lets start with replying to comments aimed at me.

Do you mean these answers?
Yoenit wrote:

RVS seems to work fine

If RVS:
How would you decide when to end RVS?
It will end naturally, if only because there has to be a lynch candidate by the deadline.

What if no one reacts to anything?
Lynch somebody at random eventually

What would you say is the maximum number of votes a person can have?
during RVS: 1-2, after that it becomes suspicious very quickly

How would one vote "randomly"?
you answer your own question already, RNG, systems, bullshit reasons all combined
I assume you see the "lynching people at random" answer as scummy, but normally I play on a very rapid deadline (24 hours), which usually means everybody is still quickless at the end of day one.
neil1113 wrote: Why have you been lurking (I've seen you on a couple times) but not said anything?
You do realize you're planting a big "I AM SCUM" sign on your back?
I have not touched my pc since I last posted. However, I added this website to my starting pages, so it automatically logs in whenever somebody turns on my pc (just removed it again). I also happen to have a roommate with a crappy pc who often uses mine to play games when I am not around.
About it making me highly suspicious, I am aware of that but can do very little about it. Sorry again for not posting so long.

BOLDING THIS TO PUT EMPHASIS: THIS GOES TO ALL, MOD INCLUDED

I can't continue the game anymore, IRL issues. Our school is gonna have some activity fucknot and I'm included. We are gonna be exiled in a camp and "survive" there without gadgets and shits. Long story short, I am gonna ask to be replaced. Also last sunday, I attended a seminar or something. Mod, sorry. Players, I am glad to play with you for a short while. I learned things. Now I know how to read tells, and I have leads :D. My replacement's gonna handle that I'm sure. SORRY AND THANK YOU ONCE MORE! HAVE A NICE GAME!

Sorry to see you go Spadille. Best of luck surviving in the wilderness.

VOTE: unvote Spadille, Vote Vinicius Chaim

Just a placeholder for now, as my vote on Spadille was random and it would be rude to have a replacement enter the game with such a vote on him. Picked VC because he voted on me (screw you argument), was the third voter (scumtell ahoy!) and doesn't seem to have posted much yet.
