Unluckily, I'm going to need a replacement too in 36 hours from this post's date... Same reason as BAZZoo's, stupid last minute vacations. I feel really bad for doing this, I was really enjoying the game, and I would so stay and keep playing if I could, but my vacation will last until the 30th.

But not now, I can still post for 1 day and a half starting now. Again, I deeply apologize.

Having 2 newbies in the scumpair from

your perspective

leaves you with only 1 combination (if YOU are town), against 14 combinations where that is not the case. Even though, now that I think about it - that 1 combination does look very appealing, considering what happened during day 1.

I could ask you the same as I did 2003, but I wanted to hear his answer first, because it seems that he's making observations without knowing what he's talking about.

So yes - if I say that I personally don't use something as relevant information, then I AM suggesting to you that you discard those ideas as well. And that's all it is - a suggestion.

I'm sorry again about not noticing your earlier question.
Q: Do you know who the 2 SE's are?
Actually, yes I do. It sayd right on the front page that both you and AV are both the SE's.
Also, I really think that, unless someone wants to claim being role-blocked, I believe the setup is either:
2 Mafia Goons, 1 Cop, 6 Townies
or
2 Mafia Goons, 1 Doc, 6 Townies

There is also the off-chance that the role-blocker did not do anything during the night, which could open it back up to all 4 possibilities again, but in one situation, there's a cop and a doctor, so I really don't think the scum would take that kind of a risk.

My thoughts are; 2k3 is part of a role-blocker scumteam. He wants to know whether his (partner's?) roleblock hit a PR or not. Maybe his target was Akira, and he wanted to see if he admits that he was roleblocked before he gets replaced.

There is NO good for town to come of a PR saying "Oh yeah, I was role-blocked" at this point in the game. Figuring out the setup

isn't

more important than keeping any PRs we may/may not have hidden.

I wanted to withhold my vote until I came back from my week away. I mean, if I wasn't going V/LA I'd place my vote down on 2k3, and I'm tempted to do so anyway, because this last post was so heinously scummy. But it'd be wrong to vote and then leave for a week, for a number of reasons.

That wasn't exactly the question. I asked do you know who are the SE players. I never mentioned the number 2.
And the correct answer was: Guybrush, Aurorus, omnino and theperson. All SE players.
I guess you skipped the part where they all stated their experience.

Also, I think you don't understand the rules that well.
We can't know if there's a roleblocker or not.
Haylen won't inform the town about roleblocker actions, only on their kills.
So reread the rules and be careful about your conclusions. You seem to be wrong twice in 1 post.

And watch out - when you said "unless someone wants to claim being role-blocked" ... if someone did that, then we all (scum included) would know who the power role is, and that's dangerous. So don't suggest such things.

Yeah 2k3: You're not told if you're roleblocked unless you're cop, or unless you're doc and your patient dies. If you're VT you're not told that you've been roleblocked.

@GB: I apologise. I honestly did not realise that VT's aren't told about role blocks. And when I said the 2 SE's, I really meant the 2 official SE's. Plus, w really can't count omnino and theperson into that equation because they wer replacements. If you want them included, you have to actually include the original people.
@theperson: Was it really necessary to chime in on what GB had already said? It just seems very unecessary.
@AV: I wasn't looking for anyone to claim anything. I was looking more towards a sense of what this game entails.

Also, to everyone, why does it seem so impossible for an SE to be part of a scum team as well? It seems w're avoiding this subject, but because this is a newb game, I would definitely expect at least 1 SE or IC to be paired up with a newb. The SE's and IC's have far more experience in playing these games an they know how to get on the town's good side. Why is it that people believe there is a 2k3-omnino scum team when omnino replaced loaki? This really wouldn't make sense to put 2 complete newbs as a scum-team if you're looking from the mod's POV, would it? With a newb game, I really would expect an SE/IC-newb pairing as opposed to any other type of pairing, including an SE/IC-SE pairing. Plus, during nights and even befor the games, when the scum have the chance to talk, the SE would be able to tell the newb what not to say and also let them know if they screw up too much, they won't cover to look like town.

Oh for crying out loud. I'm speechless. The whole situation is wrong on so many levels.
2003, I'm begging you to read the rules until you're fully aware of every single point (referring to (3) and (4) in this post).
If anything is unclear, ask us or Haylen. The main goal of this game is to learn after all.

(1) There's no such thing as an official SE. There are 4 SE-s. The actions you were discussing took place at the moment when there were 4 SE-s, not 2. So, yes - if you want to talk about SE possibilities, then start considering omnino and theperson as equal SE-s.

(2) No one said it is impossible that SE is part of scum-team. Not to mention i previously in my #433 hinted that there is a very very high possibility there's at least 1 SE in scum-team.

(3) Mod does not pick the scum-team. It's chosen randomly, just like the setup.

(4) And no - scum didn't talk before the game started. They talked few days ago (during night) for the first time. ("The game is a Day Start" rule)

So could you give me 1-2 days to have a talk with him, and then he's all yours?
I have 1-2 questions for him, after that 1 argument for you why he probably ain't scum, and then you decide what to do next.

Hm, the first thought I got when reading 2k3's posts was "OMG he's scum!" for all the errors and distractions. But would scum even be so distracted about the rules? I mean, even if he is newbie, he still wouldn't act so superficial with the rules. I'm still suspicious of him, but I agree that we need more to start voting him.

Guybrush, when you said you found the newbie scum-team very appealing, you meant BAZZ & 2k3 right? Why do you think so? BAZZ has accused 2k3 more than once in the past. Do you believe this could actually be fake accusing to hide their partnership?

Yes, I meant Bazz and 2003.
First thing that crossed my mind is that BAZZ shifted town's suspicions towards zauper at the time when 2003 was under a lot of pressure.
However, that changed, since I'm now more certain that 2003 ain't scum.

About their accusing each other - I must admit I can't comment on that ATM.
I desperately need a reread, but I would rather wait to clear things with 2003 first, to know if I need to focus on him or not.

Hmm, Akira's made me re-read your last few posts, Guybrush, and I'm just after some clarification.

In #433 - emphasis on double newbie scum pairing (and as an extension, on 2k3 & ooBAZZoo being scum)
In #439 - emphasis on there being an SE in the scumpair
In #440 - emphasis on 2k3 being town

Is this a fair assessment of your changing view?
Also, out of interest, is your read of ooBAZZoo being scum reliant on 2k3 being his scumbuddy?
