I was under the impression that a phase = 3 rl days... no wait, that's just the actual sleeping.

I'm all for designated sleep cycles. It would help the town in the long run.

Having an organized sleep cycle is a great idea. It will allow us to help power roles know when to target who. Also, I think, if we have certain people sleep at certain nights, we can systematically rule can and cannot be mafia, or at least somewhat.

I considered this, but given the mafia would assumably be a team, you wouldn't get any conclusive data.

This, if we assume that there are 2-3 mafiosos, then we can be fairly certain that atleast one would be awake any given night cycle. not a good idea.

On UK's Kamina glasses: Mindscrew 4 isn't over yet, and UK is the backup mod for that. I haven't been following it all to closely, but I'm guessing that the glasses are going to stay at least until MS 4 is over. amirite?

afaik the sleep cycle involves no-one sleeping for the first few phases, mass-sleep on the last night phase before randomness sets in, if we still had an NK, seeing who didn't sleep i.e. has randomly affected voting pattern, and lynching the scummy bastard that didn't sleep. amirite? or am I moving in the wrong direction?

Devil's Advocate: Nothing to prevent scum staggering sleep on nights without telling the town. i.e N1: Scum A sleeps, B kills. N2: Scum B sleeps, A kills. No randomness in votes involved, thus negating that advantage.

Only two games I've been in, yes, not the only two I've read.

Both yourself and Farside have a tendency to bitch rage post at what you see as as scummy behaviour (not that I always agree that it's scummy) when town, and declare the target to be obvscum without much/any justification, while as non-town you tend to have a little more AtE in the rage posts.

A disorganised sleep cycle has potential to harm the town, as PR's can end up missing their PR target. Votes may/will be missing their intended targets, and if the affected all decide

to sleep on the same phase, we could end up with a scum controlled lynch majority.

In the case of items, I don't see what use (alignment) cop or (nerfed) watcher would be to scum, therefore they're inherently town items. Idk if it's actually an alignment cop, but judging from claimed results... (Town, Scum, Town)

(Role cop would be pointless, we already are named, items = PRs = Passable around)

DV otoh... Could be used to rebalance UP scum. But the fact his item was stolen suggests town.
