My vote would definitely still have been made even if SocioPath had not posted that link.

Vote Count 3 - 04: Lynch

Steam-Powered Shovel - 1 - Jack
xvart - 1 - Iecerint
Iecerint -
4
- SocioPath, Cyberbob, Starbuck, Papa Zito
Jack - 1 - Steam-Powered Shovel
Kmd4390 - 2 - farside22, curiouskarmadog
Papa Zito - 1 - Budja

Not Voting (8): MehPlusRawr, SpyreX, xvart, Anon, SensFan, Cobalt, ooba, Kmd4390

With 18 players alive it'll take 10 to lynch and 9 to no-Lynch.

Vote Count 3 - 04: Revive

J-Scope -
10
- Iecerint, curiouskarmadog, Cyberbob, Steam-Powered Shovel, Starbuck, xvart, ooba, Jack, MehPlusRawr, Budja

Drippereth - 1 - Kmd4390

Not Voting (7): farside22, SpyreX, Papa Zito, Anon, SensFan, Cobalt, SocioPath

With 18 players alive it'll take 10 to revive. If a player has over 10 to Revive, the choice is locked in and that player will be revived and return to the game proper when the lynch resolves.

J-Scope
will be revived when the lynch resolves. I will henceforth no longer note the Revive count.

I'm starting to look back at day 1 and wonder if those pushing the elf lynch were doing so to save SPS.

I'm going to be thinking about that more as I reread people and have, hopefully, a bigger post today.

SP's metatell is not a very reliable one IMO. Analogizing my treatment of xvart's play with an old RVS vote (granted, one that I stuck with for awhile and become a Game Event, if only because a) SP took forever to respond to it and b) it was all self-conscious early-game distancing, anyway) is sort of a stretch. Also, I don't think I knew SP was V/LA at the time I made the RVS "case" on him, so that's another reason why the analogy is kinda tenuous.

I liked SPS as scum until yesterday; his response to that situation mirrored mine, at least. It's harder to interpret that well until we know FFFF's alignment, though. I could support an SPS lynch if no one likes xvart.

This, this is what makes it aaaaall bullshit.
And why I pushed your case in that game to begin with.

This gem is what makes it all worth while.
That was a different game we were both in.
The only difference is, both games are completed now.
I couldn't cite the bullshit "RVS" case with specific sources at the time, as the other game was still on going.

Fact is, you made a bullshit "RVS" case, and stuck with it, all while continually harping in that I am an inactive player.

You KNEW I was gone, and yet pushed on such.

And you were scum.

You are doing the exact same thing here, ergo, you are scum.

That "gem" post is just a prod request on you. In fact, I specifically indicated that your absence was not scummy in that game ("have noticed the same thing elsewhere on the site"). I did attack you earlier that day in that game, but it was (legitimately IMO) based on your bad case on Vaya. Also, you were SKscum in that game, anyway, so that's a bad example of scumIec being mean to poor, busy townies, anyway.

If you want an "anatomy of a scumplay" from Fables, I voted scumfriendSP on bogus grounds to distance while actively discrediting townKpaca with more serious arguments.

Apart from superficial similarities (like "activity was a tell"), the analogy is inappropriate. I think xvart's play, including the circumstances bookending his V/LA, has been anti-town to scummy, so I'm voting him.

Going thru my read now by iso:

Anon - post 145 catch up post with no reasoning. post 283 actually this is a lot better thought process.
post 623 would love to hear more about why the vote and suspicion here
Would like to hear more from Anon but upon my reread I like his views and thoughts when he shared them.

Budja - Budja typically comes off scummy to me in any game I'm ever in with him. post 50 lack of reasoning here
post 75 fence sitting
post 136 filler post
post 168 a bit hypocritical to call out someone else post me thinks.
post 208 more pot and kettle comment. J-scope said he was not worth a vote why say he is voting?
post 608 interigued. Something i will ponder about later down the road.
post 636 what happened between 608 and 636?
post 871 What! When did you think Drip was scum and why?

Seriously every time I feel budja is scum. We have the Dripp was scum to town view, the buddying, following and hypocrosy all in one player.

Cobalt - Day 1 I felt true, true cobalt town agression. Day 2 he had one vote and disappeared

Farside, the first comment about budja refers to Drip thinking the FFFF-wagon was scum-laden. Have you read all of Day 2 yet?

SP's "metatell" carries no weight in my books, although SP seems genuine in his support of it.

^ that. I didn't think Drip was scummy, I disagree with her thinking the players on the FFFF wagon were scummy.

Don't see the fence-sitting. Filler post was mainly for my own catch-up IIRC.
Buddying was unintended. I try to agree with people if I agree rather than restate them as my own. I think its my playstyle you are reacting to.

I'll say again that I think FFFF was a third party lyncher. It's the only explanation for his behavior other than some self sacrificing town power role outting gambit.

I think Budja definitely needs some more scrutiny. I'll also say that I played poorly at the beginning of Day One and I think I set myself up to be an easy mislynch, one of which I think that Budja was trying to capatilize on by redirecting me by saying I was misrepping him again, which when questioned about the misrep accusation there was no response.

I think Drippereth may have nailed it on the head (and her coffin so to speak) with this post, saying Budja was scum voting a townie (although I don't think FFFF was scum but the scum reaction would still be the same to a third party since it would eliminate two non-mafia members). This would also explain the Dripperth revive comment; especially considering J-Scope is already confirmed to be revived at days end.

It makes me even more suspicious now that Budja has a town read (for unknown reasons) on me and I believe he picked up the reason for my question to him.

re
vote xvart
. Just realized I had a bad reason for unvoting.

Budja, if you felt Drip was town, why were they intimidating?

Zito is town because he PM'd Plum to complain about his reads. He wouldn't do it as scum and I doubt he'd lie about it expecting someone to see it as a towntell. So Zito is confirmed town.

SPS: I read day 2 while I was in limbo and joked with the mod about the number of people saying they targeted me. I certainly felt popular. I just don't understand how Ooba says he didn't see anyone target me yet I was dead. Just doesn't make sense to me.
I'm going back and reading most in isolation.

@budja: I don't like budding. I typically see it from scum towards a player they know to be town. Just my POV. I can see were I was confused by the drip comments.

It would be nice if he could post with a bit more depth, yeah.

In other news I like xvart's case on Budja but Iecerint's attempts at defending himself have been completely awful so I'll stick with him for the moment. I don't want to let that godawful attack of his slide into obscurity.

I'm town, but I definitely feel the taste of not being able to BITE this game hard.

Real hard.

Remember waaaaay back when when I said that cyber was my only real gut town read?

Yea.

Still that way. A few are starting to crawl out of the morass AND the fact we don't have the flips right away is hurting but. Baby steps.

If y'all prefer it, I'll give you post votecounts once per day. We'll see if this time around I don't end up accidentally putting off votecounts for days at a time . . . don't worry; I'll be good.

Vote Count 3 - 05: Lynch

Steam-Powered Shovel - 1 - Jack
xvart - 2 - Iecerint, Kmd4390
Iecerint -
4
- SocioPath, Cyberbob, Starbuck, Papa Zito
Jack - 1 - Steam-Powered Shovel
Kmd4390 - 2 - farside22, curiouskarmadog
Papa Zito - 1 - Budja
Budja - 1 - xvart

Not Voting (6): MehPlusRawr, SpyreX, Anon, SensFan, Cobalt, ooba

With 18 players alive it'll take 10 to lynch and 9 to no-Lynch.

It's not like you're busy voting someone else. Vote for SPS if you think he's the scummiest.

Since you're the second to ask and no one really responded (I think SP's response was mostly a response to my point that his metatell was bogus), the case on me is that my case on xvart is not very good, because it is variously a) against the spirit of the game and/or b) too presumptuous. I think the former is a silly reason to vote someone and the latter is based more on the poor word choice in my first few posts than the argument itself.

I don't agree with the case on Iec.

Cyberbob is hard to tell about.

Like the SPS wagon (hint hint).

Suppose I should recheck Budja.
