@Jerako: This is a reasonable place to ask questions, though mafia discussion works too.

For learning purposes, it's probably better to read completed games. The first time, don't look at the results, just read the game, writing down your suspicions as you go. Then read the game a second time, knowing who was scum, and try to figure out where you made mistakes.

If you want to learn how to play, I think it's probably best to start reading in the little italy subforum, where the mini normal games are situated. The games there are still reasonably simple in setup, but the players should have more experience then those in a newbie game. Reading newbie games would work fine to get the hang of the basics though.

Haha. Dude, the mod has to write out PM's and write flavor and the rules and send out the PM's and make sure everythings ok before he can feel ready to open the game. It takes me at least 3 hrs to get a newbie game read...and that's when I use rules and PM's from my previous modded games. And THAT'S after modding 4 games before. DarkLight has only modded one, let him make sure he gets it right.
