  General Queue Information

New players will probably want to start playing one game here before playing elsewhere on the site. Reply in this thread indicating that you'd like to play ("/in for next" is a standard way of doing so). You will get a PM from your game moderator when your game is about to begin.

Your name should be added to the first post within 24-48 hours. The waiting time for a game to start is currently 4-5 days, on average. Upcoming games will be full when there is one Inexperience-Challenged (IC) player, two Semi-Experienced (SE) player(s), and six Newbie players available. More/less ICs and SEs may be used in any given game to relieve a backlog on those specific areas of the Queue.

Player Game Limits:

• Brand new players may only play in
  one
  Newbie Game. You may either play a game from scratch or replace into an existing game for your first game.
  
• Once you are out of your first game (by lynch, night kill, or the end of the game) you may sign up for a second game. You may also replace into as many games as you can handle.
  
  NOTE: Taking on too many games at one time, getting overloaded, and replacing out of those games can get you banned from the Newbie Queue!
  
  
• When you finish your second game anywhere on this site, you are then considered a Semi-Experienced (SE) player and will occupy one of the SE playing spots. SE players may play in as many games as they can handle.
  
• A player that completes 5 games and has at least 3 months on-site may apply to be an Inexperience Challenged (IC) player. Send the ListMod a PM with links to your 5 most-recent completed games. All Potential ICs MUST also read Being a good IC.
  
• For purposes of Player Game Limits, a
  finished
  game is one in which you are out of the game (by lynch or night kill) but the game is still being played by others. A
  completed
  game is a game in which a winning side has been declared and the game is over.
  
• Players that qualify for SE or IC status may not enter an Alt into the Queue as a Newer Player.

IF YOU ARE SIGNING UP AS AN ALT ACCOUNT:

Established players starting Alt accounts (an account different from their primary account, usually used as a means to play against their established meta)

may not

/in as a Newbie since they'd be taking a spot away from a true site Newbie. Additionally, since the Alt account itself doesn't qualify, you may not function as SEs or ICs under the Alt account either, even if the player behind the account does qualify for one of these positions.

The ONLY way in which a new Alt account (one with less than two finished games) may play in a Newbie game is to offer to replace into existing games. Once the account has a record of two finished games, you may then /in as an SE player as normal. Once the account has a record of 5 completed games and 3 months on-site, you may /in as an IC player after ListMod certification as normal. You may always use your primary account to function as an SE or IC, depending on qualification.

Any player is, of course, welcome to join other Game Queues as they feel ready...

You can play in as many nonnewbies as you want (though less than 4 minies), but can only play in 1 newbie until said game is finished.
I wouldn't reccomend playing in too many games at once. But that said, I'm a complete hypocrite.

I don't recommend playing in more than one Newbie game when you first join however. If you're new to the site, we

strongly

suggest that you only play in 1 Newbie game to start with. Reason being is that we play differently from site X, and while you may have a blast playing games on site X you may find our way of playing not to your liking. Or this may be your first game anywhere and you just don't like it at all. This lets you get out of the one Newbie game in a relatively short amount of time and it doesn't disturb the other queues.

Effectively what it boils down to is this:

tl;dr: finding replacements sucks. Please don't go hog wild and sign up for 5 games, hate playing here, and then quit. We then have to find replacements for you in all 5 of those games.

Thank you for the clarification. I'm going to take it rather slow (for me), and only play in two games at a time. I'm seriously addicted to this type of game, and I've played it a lot elsewhere, and I'm comfortable with the gameplay on this site.
