I don't know that we should assume that the mod will give imprints based on anything other than randomness. I havent heard of anything to suggest that.

I'm going to have serious issues with the mod if all we got was 2 vigs and a doc for the night and both players that received a vig imprint are town.
I still think the odds of buttonmans statement about vigging is too hard to swallow.
Limerick receiving a vig role on top of that. I just can't fathom this.

I don't know what to make of the whole clash between buttonmen and others, but the egg is certainly on Elvis's face about a second person indeed getting a kill.

Although, now that I think about it, 2 vigs and zero information roles is weird. And claiming to have gotten a vig would be a convenient claim for a scumbag since it contains no information whatsoever.

So what now?

I kinda want to get with the lynching, especially considering that I am fairly confident in my suspicion on KOC.

I wanted to see if someone would fake claim their imprint and how far that lie would go.

Again, I still see no reason to expect that the imprints would be dependent on what the mod decides at the time. I'd imagine he either has a list and gives them out as people get imprinted, or its random.

I'm not 100% sure what you guys were hoping for, 3 x cop was never exactly going to be likely.

For me, the value in lynching buttonman has just gotten significantly higher, because I don't like his flavour and the fact he didn't vig despite saying he would, and his switch of targets and because limerick and buttonman are now very dangerous if scum.

Socrates, have you done any meta on KoC? That's my only real concern.

I'm not embarassed. If they're both telling the truth, I would say it's very unexpected.

If one is lying I would say it's buttonmen, because he went first. And limerick wouldn't fake a vig after buttonmen claimed vig if he's scum. It draws too much attention.

I also think these things are weird:
-adament about vigging, then decided not to
-said he would vig SC, and then today said he would have killed me
-says he was worried one of the other imprinters is scum who would use a NK, hasn't said who he thinks is scum of the other two... and yesterday he imprinted limerick and said he thought farside was town. So why was he so scared of them NKing all the sudden?

Yea, but Vig is something that there is a town consensus on how best to use the ability, and that is to do nothing with it at all. A Doc or a Roleblock would still give out some information in the form of how the person would justify their use of the role. "I protected person X for reason Y". "I didn't RB because I am confident that the other two imprintees are town." Something like that.

I am very lazy about meta'ing. I still have getting a scum meta on you on my to do list since mayor mafia. It is very time intensive and I have a hard time drawing conclusions from that stuff, so I tend to put it off.

I'm trying to figure out why you didn't shoot and who you thought was scum if you thought someone else was going to kill. Also if you feel that you are going to shoot town then why think about shooting anyone at all. I read this as a worse case but it strikes me as scummy thought too.

7-3 -> NK from scum + Misvig -> 5-3 -> Mislynch + NK -> 3-3 = Town loses

If Scum got a NK and I misvigged it was LyLo with 3 suspects. As such due to the 3 imprints I wasn't willing to risk taking the shot as my scum read on Elvis is about 65-75%.

With 2 imprints, if there's a NK I didn't do I knew who was scum, three removed that certainty. Without that certainty risking putting it at Lylo wasn't something I was comfortable with.

These things make no sense. IE: willing to kill with only 2 imprints not 3. Doesn't say who he thinks is scum but comments about a misvig in his analysis.
