General

1. Play to win.
2. Enjoy yourselves.
3. Mafia, as a game, is supposed to get heated, but please don't resort to insulting/mean/harassing language to any other players.
4. Please type in

black font ONLY.

You may bold, italicize, underline, increase size, etc., but all text should be black.
5. Breadcrumbs are allowed, however do not post any encrypted messages or small or hidden messages. Also DO NOT edit or delete previously posted messages.
6. I will not edit posts as a general rule, except to answer questions. However, if tags need to be fixed and the player requests that I fix them (I will take “Oh, crap! The tags!” as a request).
7. Please

bold

everything to which you want me to pay special attention. I will probably be reading the entire game, but for good measure bold mod requests or questions.
8. If you notice any mod-errors, please kindly point them out for me and I will fix it ASAP. If you do not correct me, it will count however I have it posted.
9. You may not quote or pretend to quote private communications with the mod or other players. You may paraphrase, but you should check with me first if you are unsure if you are crossing the line.

Private Messages/Privacy

1. No communication of ANY kind at ANY time outside of the thread regarding the game.
2. You may not quote anything in a mod PM verbatim (you can summarize, ex: "It said I'm a townie!") or even pretend to do so.
3. If you have a role with a Night action your choices are due to me by the posted deadline. If I do not receive your choice via PM by the posted deadline you will forfeit your actions.
4. Do not hesitate to PM me with any questions that you have.

Lynching/Voting/Deadlines

1. A majority (½ # of living players +1, rounded down) of votes is required to lynch. Once majority is reached, the lynch occurs and no further vote/unvotes will be considered.
2. The vote format is as follows:

. Votes not in this format will not be counted. You may abbreviate players' names appropriately.
3. Unvoting follows the same format

Unvote: Starbuck

(the name is optional, but preferred). You must unvote before voting, or the vote will not count.
4. You can vote for a no-lynch, which will end the Day phase with no lynch, using the format:

5. Each day will have a deadline equal to the number of players multiplied times 3. This will be days=3n, where n=number of players.
7. I may give a deadline extension if a majority of the players PM me asking for one; as well as if I think it is needed.
8. Once you are dead, you are dead. You can make one "Bah!" post, but that will be all until postgame.

Activity/Prodding/Replacements

1. Typing /in for any game means that you are committing yourself to that game, so please treat it as such.
2. Any player who hasn't posted in 72 hours will be prodded. From there, they have 24 hours to open their prod. After three prods, the player will be replaced. If two days pass, the player will be replaced.
3. If you know you will be inactive for more than a three-day period, please inform me either in thread or by sending me a PM. Posting in the V/LA thread is meaningless because I don't read it.


If there is a serious infraction of these rules, of the site rules, or of the integrity and spirit of the game, I reserve the right to replace someone. Again, I would rather never do this.

Empire Records open til midnight! Empire Records is a small record shop in Anywhere, USA that employs an array of misfit teenagers. There is the typical Daddy's little girl who got into Harvard by chowing down speed. There's the whorish girl who sleeps around with everyone including complete has-beens. They are the gum-chewing, tattooed, silver-pierced freaks of our high school era and they are coming back again to save the store from turning into just another record store chain, Music Town. With the addition of Mafia, in their midst, this is going to be a very long day.

All players, but one have confirmed. I will give him until tomorrow and then start looking for a replacement.

It wasn't fixed because nothing was pointed out. kyle99 did not point out my mistake, all he said is "Are you sure this is right?". A simple solution to this is to make sure that your vote is more obvious than at the end of your sentence. It's not a hard thing to do.

This was my first game of my own creation that I've modded on MS, and I'm so glad that so many of my favorite people played!

I do need to apologize to Wolf. I had no idea that DragonsofSummer was such a lurky mafia member. I've only had one encounter with him, so I didn't think he would pull all the lurking that he did. He will no longer be allowed to play in any of my games.

I did make one big mistake and that was sending xRECKONERx the full role PMs instead of innocent or guilty. I'm used to the mafia games I've played on other sites with Seers instead of Cops. It is a lesson learned.

All in all it was still fun and really (Starbuck i mean NO offense what so ever and if you take any I am sorry) I thought "shit" when i saw all the power roles that protected people in some way shape or form from night kills.

My original draft for this game didn't have that many power roles. I actually had Lucas as a Jester and Tar about tore my head off saying that Jesters shouldn't be in Minis, as did Budja. He suggested making it a lyncher or a weak town role (a 1 shot bulletproof). Since I already had the weak doctor, I went with the 1 shot bulletproof.

He also was the one to suggest that although a dayvig annoyed his design sensibilities, provided the GF was daykill-immune, it shouldn't be broken. Also, that the vig would be suspected of being a day-SK.

PZ, I know she was only alive for a short while but how did Andromina like the game?

I was very irked by the lack of contribution from the scum other than wolf. I knew that this was Andromina's first game ever, so I figured she'd be quiet. I've only had one experience with DoS and he seemed like a fairly decent and active player no matter what side he was on.

DoS, your lack of contribution really disappointed me and if you had stuff going on outside the game that made it so you couldn't be around, I wish you would have told me so that I could have found a replacement who wanted to be involved.
