Can someone make the New Year miracle and hammer Budja?
Taking a long break from mafia games.

Why wouldn't you want to let him claim, if he so desires?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's unequivocally good to let him get some last comments out.

So, I might as well talk out loud here. If budja is scum, then his scum partner is likely on the wagon. If not, then he has a lurker buddy. If Budja is town, it is likely that both scum are on the wagon. Although all the scum might not be on this wagon, but that seems improbable, because I would imagine he would be lynched already if that were the case.

Sorry, I've been extremely busy lately, so I haven't been able to check up on Mafiascum. I'm updating everything now. I will hammer Budja before the deadline, as per my previous reasons for voting for him, but I want to hear from him first - if he IS town, those pre-lynch reactions could be useful for tomorrow.

Also, BC, I'm not sure I like how you structured your post...You could have just said "There is scum on the Budja wagon" without the impossible-to-fail conditionals that you set up. Seems like you're trying to lend false credibility to your assertion.

I'm wondering why BC thinks that there's 2 scum.

Asking for a hammer before Budja has a chance to claim is definitely scummy. We still have a week til deadline.

Newbie mistake, I'm ICing a newbie game, therefore in this game and my other ongoing mini-normal i have made the mistake of presuming only two scum. I would show you... but it's ongoing. Aside from my large themed game which is actually an open setup. But in all honesty, what i wrote there I believe works if there are only two scum, if there are three scum and budja scum is being lynched it is likely that his scum buddies are on the wagon, or else they are lurking scum that aren't paying attention. It wouldn't be unreasonable for a scum to have hammered by now, and not likely to receive much flak. That's why i'm surprised i guess. If you follow me.

I am Rowan Atkinson, with no powers. (i.e a VT).

I have little to add. I have been lax with this game (and lax with mafia in general lately).

I think Macavity and Net are obv. town.
Locke, BC, dana are good scum picks.
BC is inconsistant (take his view on me for one), reaction to Josh's claim (not the only one guilty of this but the only one I actually felt was scummy (China's looks more tunnelvisioned)) and quite frankly is the only one active who really gives me "scum vibes".

Sounds like a player that's given up...I'm extremely tempted to go ahead and hammer, but I want to wait until I hear from some other players in re: BC's statements.

why are you specifically waiting for a response from me? And not Dana and Lock as well?

he had little reasons for attacking me, then when i rebutted he said he would get to them after he reread what his attacks where, which he then never got back to me. So, there really isn't much i have to go on.

I wanted the lynch because I felt the game stalled. The claim is not good enough, and thus, I still support the lynch.

Nice slip, BC. But that will be looked further upon D2.

Note for tomorrow - SnowBunny is making me very, very nervous right now. I really don't like her "LYNCH HIM! LYNCH HIM NOW!" mentality. It is advantageous to the town to move slowly and deliberately.

If you read my meta, once I have a target, I pursue him until lynched (unless a better target appears, which this isn't the case).

That's not necessarily good play. Tenacity is good, but tunnel vision is not. He might be scum, he might not be, but your actions are anti-town regardless of his alignment.

I find anti-town to prolong a day for too long, but well, that's just me.

How is adding extra time to the day anti-town? It gives scum more opportunities to slip up and say something stupid.

Alright, since my time is pretty limited here, I'm going to go ahead and tell you all some fun info I have. As I have said, I am town. I will add now (as it looks like we will have a Budja lynch soon) that I do have some fun info about one other person. It isn't as fun as knowing they are scum, but it is info that they are for sure town. I don't want to out and out say who it is as I think it's best for us to wait and see what happens tonight, but I will say that this person also knows that I am town. I'm pretty confident that Budja will flip scum. I don't believe his claim at being town and being purely without anything useful.

Also, to anyone paying attention, I had an convo with someone where I stated I believe that the odds were good that town had more special stuff (knowledge, power, etc) then we did pure vanilla. Part of the reason I believe this is because I know there are 2 town that know eachother is town. It's not a super cool power/knowledge role, but it's more than plain vanilla townie.

Hammer Budja now please. Also, I will say now that if Budja flips scum, the others I am most leaning scum are Net and DeathSauce. JL is not off my list either until we see a stump. We'll talk more about him tomorrow though I guess.

You.....you.....you just claimed Mason! And you're asking us to go to night
without revealing your partner
! No way I'm hammering before we hear more.

And I'll go ahead and say it - I know that your little hypothesis is false because I am vanilla and have no further information or role.

Nobody else follow up on his little rolefishing attempt here. Unless he verifies that Mason claim, I recommend lynching him. Immediately.
