Rules
(partially inadvertently plagiarised from many different sources no doubt)

1) Vote in bold like this:
Vote: ortolan

2) Unvote by typing
Unvote
- An
Unvote
before a new vote is not necessary but is appreciated.
3) I will make executive decisions on borderline cases where a vote is ambiguous e.g. screwed up bold tags or misspelled player names. I strongly advise you to check both of these when voting for this very reason.
4) Lynches require a majority of votes.
5) No-lynches require half (50%) or more of the votes in play.
6) If no-one has a majority of votes at deadline no-one will be lynched.
7) Once the mod has announced you have died please make no further posts in the game thread until it finishes. Especially not "bah".
8) Deadline will be three real weeks for every day.
9) Night cycles will last 72 hours. If a player with a potential night action fails to submit one in this time it will be assumed they commit no action.
10) For this reason, I may ask for night actions in advance from players who are unlikely to be present for the duration of a night.
11) In the unfortunate event I have to replace a player, if this occurs during a night cycle I will automatically extend the deadline to account for the time they may or may not have needed to submit a night action.
12) I reserve the right to modify these deadline rules under extraneous circumstances.
13) If a player has not posted in 72 hours or more, you may request a prod on them. It is your responsibility to request prods on specific players. If a prodded player does not post or reply to me within 24 hours of receiving the prod, I will seek a replacement. If a player has to be prodded repeatedly I will consider forced replacement.
14) One may not reference ongoing games, except for mod-revealed information contained therein.
15) Do not discuss or reference
this
game outside of the thread in any way, shape or form; while it is ongoing.
16) You may not quote your role PM in this game. It must be paraphrased. Check with me if you are unsure whether your wording is too close to be considered "mod-quoting". I will mod-kill at my discretion, so please check with me whether your wording is acceptable before posting detailed information from your role PM.
17) The only guarantee I make as to the consequences of a mod-kill is that the mod-killed player autoloses.
18) Enjoy the game and maintain a level of respect for one's fellow players.
19)
Mod posts in this game will (probably) always contain Indigo. Please do not use this colour.

20) Do not claim to be scum with anyone.
21) The game will start when all you chappies have confirmed.
22) I will do a vote count every second day or so, in a new post.
23) Those italicized comments at the ends of my posts are purely for entertainment (mainly my own). Don't infer anything regarding the game from them.
24) Please address all mod question to me in PM, not in-thread. Thanks.

You find yourselves in a room together. It's rather bare.

Day one has dawned in British Comedy land. Deadline will be three weeks from this post so get lynchin'!

For future reference: I agree that voting NL, especially this early, is scummy.

It has created nonrandom discussion. Also, since this is the first time I've tried to break the meta of excluding no-lynch votes from random voting stages, I am advancing mafia theory, which is in general a pro-town thing to do, I believe.

Do you think it's a scumtell if a player tries to get a bandwagon started on him/herself early on D1?

Its null in itself.

But the fact that fuzzy immediantly defused it is a (very minor) scumtell.
Fuzzy's post 13 also makes me a little uncomfortable. The whole thing feels forced.

Why?
Given that we have three weeks to discuss things and lynch someone, voting no-lunch this early is extremely anti-town, because it deprives us of finding information and potentially lynching scum.

How is voting No Lynch at this stage of the game, placing it at L-6, depriving us of information? Did you think that his vote would stay on No Lynch?

P.S. Anyone voting No
Lunch
immediately gets my vote. I love a good sandwich.

Asking me to reveal my proprietary Thought Processes is inherently scummy. (Note to the humour-impaired: This. Is. A. Joke.)

I figured if I voted him, his vote might move; also, a pressure vote such as that tends to elicit information. Surely I don't have to explain that to you?

Additionally (for clarity), to me, anti-town != scummy.

Interesting. So then, Fuzzy was both?
