I don't really see the fishing in seacore's posts, so much as him stating an obvious fact we all know, people at the top were more likely to grab roles.
However, the second part Vi pointed out I do agree with as being suspicious.
This part:
Seacore wrote: I'm not going to pick any of them for my RVS because maybe they can be uber helpful town.
I'd like to add, that this looks like someone trying to appear townie.

It

an obvious fact, but why stay preoccupied with it?
Fair enough. In order to build up to the "look how townie I am" second part of his post I guess.

Okay, I believe he was role fishing now. What serial clergyman said. You're giving scum a list of who to kill for the first few days, remembering that there's up to 4 anti town faction kills every day.

He wanted to list out everyone who had power roles in a game with up to 4 anti town kills a night.
Just reiterating that.

I stand firmly by my accusation untill he can give a compelling why reason that it's worth losing all our power roles in a few nights.

hypothetically his plan was to catch scum down the line in their lies. "Oh, I went for watcher but it was taken so I ended up vanilla" But than when we massclaim on a later Day, there are no watchers.
You're suggesting I'm either scum, or if town, missinterpeting my strong disagreement with this plan as him being scummy right?.
I don't know. I still feel comfortable with my vote on him untill we can talk more about this tomorrow when he comes online.

Atleast a partial list of people who did not have any powers and could be saved to be night killed later on.

I think that disagreeing with a plan does not, in a townie's mind, automatically lead to thinking the proposer is scum, and that there's no particular reason it would in this case.
Generally I agree with this. I thought that was what you were implying though, my mistake.

Earlier on in the day while I found him suspicious, I disagreed with the Vi's belief that seacore had been rolefishing. (see post 23)
I chose to vote for him in my first post after he made the post suggesting we out all the vanillas(and therefor power roles too).

Vote Dramonic

There are a couple other people guilty of jumping on the EK wagon without understanding it, but I'm most suspicious of Dramonic. I'm feeling like he's active lurking a little bit. Reading his post record, he hasn't really expressed an opinion on anything. When he finally did vote and join the EK wagon, it was essentially a RVS style joke vote about his avatar.

This is more for dramonic than other people but, that really reminds me of something Einlanzers said when I called him out early game. (Einlanzers was a scum in a completed newbie game Dramonic and I played together)

Hey thanks for not doing a billion pages today :)

Ek's cop claim is interesting. And i'm not sure how to approach how much we trust a cop in this game regarding people they claim as cleared town down the road(untill after we know the cops alignment anyway). Obviously she'll be wanting to help us kill atleast one of the two groups whatever her alignment is, so that's good atleast.
The whole EK wagon was for meta reasons I can't know not having played with her right? Because to me she was far from the scummiest person here.
Speaking of scummiest person here, waiting on dramonics re-read, he like me should be able to catch up with this game when he gets online with how little the games moved today by comparison. Other scummy people in the game ofcourse, but my experience with him was as someone very strong in their opinion who liked to try and direct town, in the game I had with him, he's being very opposite and it makes me nervous. If I didn't have past play with dramonic Cobalt would probably be pretty close to dram on my list.

What changed between you saying
I'd vote devotress, but i like to hold off until i'm not behind in a game.
And then a few posts later
Okay, unvote vote elvis_k.

Only on page 7 in mah read thru, hope theres a case on her.
What was so much better about voting for EK despite being behind, compared to voting for me despite being behind? Ek had a larger wagon to join in on?

I unvoted benmage because he answered my question and there are bigger scums in the game.

I would still feel more comfortable lynching Cobalt, Dramonic , or maybe even BC.

Can someone outline the case on Brudja for me I think I missed it. Alternatively I'll also go re-read his post history.

I actually agree that dramonics avatar thing was a joke, but that's what put me off. All his posts had been contentless, and then when he finally voted it was still a joke vote reason to hop on a largeish wagon. That and my past experience with Dramonic (one game) was very different. Perhaps he plays newbie games differently than Large theme games? Because other people seem to think he's behaving in character.

I'm going to go ahead and
vote Stranger Coug

for what Xyl posted above. Him hopping on my Dramonic wagon and than later saying he doesn't see the case at all when he realizes it's unpopular is strange as can be, and reeks of someone trying to fit in.

I agree that cobalt is town now. Oddly, because he apparently shot me. I'm an easy mislynch it looks like, so scum wouldn't use a nk (or vig nk) on me. That makes him appear pro town. I don't believe he'd lie about shooting me because that seems like something that could get countered with other power roles info potentially.

This is true. Number one pick is going to pick Cop or Vig. Maybe bulletproof if they thought they could draw night kills for being high on the list. It's not that shady for chamber to assume cobalt was vig.

I believe she's likely scum simply because no one tried to stop her investigation, there was no roleblock, jailer, or anything on her.
But you're right I guess, she can still catch the enemy scum team. We just have to take her "townie" claims with a grain of salt untill we eventually lynch her. (if we lynch her and she flips town we've got a bunch of cleared townies, if we lynch her and she flips scum, some of her clears might be scum).

Since you wanted it to be said: I am not a Driver. I'm thinking someone either Jailed myself or Cobalt, or roleblocked Cobalt.

um explain how this makes her more likely to be scum, please. sure no pro-town blocker would block a claimed cop, so yeah.

Don't think SC is scum atm, don't find the case on him compelling at all.

Plum mentioned BC a few times, calling him 'weird' but rarely saying anything beyond that, never going as far to call him scummy/townie.
She's likely scum because it's likely to me that of 6 scum players it's likely one of them would have had something that could be done to stop her.
Remember Haylen was an empowerer, why didn't the scum empower their killer and kill EK to avoid a doctor protection.

If the empowerer got killed, would his empower not go off that night, or would the person haylen targeted still have been empowered?

That's hypothetical anyway because they didn't even try to kill EK, Haylen's group killed Vi.

Because Haylen's group didn't Kill Haylen, and The vigalante didn't try to kill haylen, so of the 3 night kills the one targetting Vi had to come from haylens group.

My point still stands, Haylen's mafia was not targetting EK, EK is the cop and couldn't have been the oneway driver.

Haylen's mafia group had an Empowerer (Haylen). Since EK is a claimed (and not countered) cop, the smart thing to do would have been to night Kill EK, using Haylen's empower to ensure it went through.

One Mafia group Targeted Vi
Cobalt Targeted Devotress(me)
Haylen also died.

Haylen's mafia group did not Target EK, or he would be dead. (waiting on a mod confirmation on whether the empower goes through, I'm not completly sure on if it does or not)
Since EK couldn't have busdriven a kill onto haylen(being the cop), that means that haylen's faction had to have either targeted
1) Someone who busdrove a kill onto Haylen, or
2) Targeted and killed vi.

Either way, Haylens group did not try to kill EK.

Someone please tell me if Im missing a major point here somewhere, but I'm pretty sure EK and Haylen were deffinatly scum buddies.

That said we still shouldn't lynch EK, per what that other person said a few posts ago, she can still catch one of the scum teams.

No yah, I agree we should leave her around, I'm just she's scum and we have to lynch her
eventually
by the endgame. Whoever reminded me earlier that she could still catch her enemy scum team convinced me she shouldn't be lynched.

Why do you think the RB is scum? I mean really why would a town RB stop a cop investigation?
post 778 DBG: I'm surprised at DGB defending devotress just that last post on

should have had you questioning his inside info.

In short my scum list is Devotress, Budja and Benmage. I don't really like DGB not noticing the slip from Devtoress on page 702 if she indeed read him in isolation that would be my first question is how do you know if town or scum has the RB ability.

Unless of course someone pro town nabbed the roleblock power.
I said in my own post "oh well I guess the roleblocker could be town.

or in shorter form: what?

farside22 wrote: Why assume that (1) the RB did target the vig (2) why would it be worrysome that the cop got an investigation result to anyone but scum?
I didn't really just assume that, you're narrowing your own view. I said it was one of the possibilities, and was specifically responding to the 2 posts above mine. by Cobalt, the vig, who said he wasn't able to kill me.
The worrysome part was the idea that a scum roleblocker who didn't block EK would have to be buddies. I don't neccisarilly hold that was what happened, it could have been a protown roleblocker, as said in that very same post.

Vaya's last post reeks of someone who hasn't even tried to pay attention to the thread. She came back (after ages) and responded to one post that was recent, and then repeated her post from like what, 10 days ago now or something?

Vote Vaya

Go read all 20 odd pages you didn't read and post something again please.

I'm at L-1, since Xyl didn't bother to call it out.

Also what's the matter BC, wasn't chambers case against me so clear it convinced you? :P

@farside regarding choices. Look at the entirety of my wagon and decide who looks scummier myself or Vaya. As scummy as you might think I am, what's your opinion on the people hopping on my wagon?

I tried to become a doctor, incase too many people went for investigation roles without taking the protection role.

I thought the whole draft set up was a great idea.
I did a bad job boo me.

Point of interest I bus drived onto haylen because we thought haylen would be town, and not have a night power incase someone targetted me with track.
I think I said that in the graveyard quicktopic anyway, but.
