Although, I think we should wait for everyone to weigh in on the massclaim before we have anyone claim.

I'm down with a massclaim.

This is pretty much standard practice, yes.

I think massclaim is a sensible idea. But we should wait and see if we should no-lynch. We need to decide what order to claim in also.

I don't think order will really matter. Popcorn?

Er, how does popcorn work? It's not a term I'm familiar with.

Popcorn is as good as any other method since I doubt we're going to get any sort of consensus on an exact order.

I'll start.

Doctor.
Night one, protected Cyberbob. Thought he was town after Peabody flipped.
Night two, mathcam. Thought he was town. Started getting bad vibes off Cyberbob.
Night three, Socrates. Was a toss up between mathcam and Socrates. Went with Socrates because I thought he was the obvious nightkill choice as NO ONE was considering him a suspect. I have more on this, but I'll wait until after claim.

Obviously no breadcrumbs, but I fought Cathart's claim pretty hard since I didn't think he could be doc as well.

Anyhow, DDD is up next.

Very interesting.

Claim: Combat Medic (Vig or Protect)
Night one, le chat protected cyberbob (I'd assume for the same reason charter is claiming to have protected him).
Night two, le chat attempted to kill Vaya/Socrates (Again I assume this was to remove the WIFOM situation placed in front of the town).
Night three, I attempted to kill mathcam.

I have more on nights two and three, but like charter will wait for full claims.

Let's make cyberbob go next.

I'm a Tracker.

Night One: Tracked Cathart to Vaya (which was my reason for backing off when he claimed)
Night Two: Attempted to track CoCo, specifically got no result (assuming roleblock)
Night Three: I'd rather not say until everybody has claimed.

Hoopla next.

I'm a Jack of All Trades - (cop/doc/RB/vig - one of each)

Night 1: Investigate Sens --> Innocent
Night 2: Protected Cyberbob
Night 3: Attempted to vig DDD

I'm really surprised by all these double roles - like charter, having a semi-matching role with Cathart made me suspect about his claim.

Oh and here are my breadcrumbs;
Hoopla wrote:

But Vaya shouldn't be the lynch today. I think it was mathcam that made the point about how if we're afraid of losing to a scum Vaya, and waste a lynch on him, we're just increasing our chances of losing to a different scum. Just because it's wifom, it doesn't mean the percentages can't be roughly quanitified. I do not see Vaya that likely of being scum (at least more so than CoCo or Cathart).

I'm slowly starting to hone in on those two.

Scrambled lynches don't work out well for town, it's a shame it's come to this. I'm prepared to hammer SC though.

Initial feeling says we can probably clear someone out of this, but there's a lot of information to deal with. I'm going to think about it for a bit and come back.

Urgh, fine. I wanted to wait as this has some import and I'm wary of giving people too much information before they claim, but I tracked Socrates to you.

That should be okay, since after Hoopla, everyone already had claimed.

Can you explain your thought process in choosing to track Socrates?

Of all the players left he was the one I had the weakest read on (in either direction). When I play investigative roles those are the people I tend to go for in the later stages of a game.

What made you take the gamble on Socrates? You know he was roleblocked on N1 by Cathart, and a kill still went through. And considering he was one of the least suspicious characters out there, it seems like a very odd choice. It reeks of scum opportunism in mylo, which goes nicely with your other relatively safe results.

Re the bolded section: from my perspective I merely had a weak town read on him. I would certainly not go so far as to say that he was "one of the least suspicious characters out there"; I had him placed him pretty much squarely in the middle of the group, which is a place I've often found scum in towards the lategame.

As for the rest... there is quite literally no defence to make against any of that, whether I be town or scum. I don't know what you want me to say to you.

It shouldn't matter to you
what
he claims, since Vaya already claimed vanilla. The fact that Socrates went anywhere at all meant that Vaya's claim was a lie and that you have found scum with a ridiculously high probability. At least, that's what it means if your claim is real.

Yeah, really need to hear from Socrates now. Looks like Cyberbob or Socrates is scum though.
