I'm aware of how scummy I must have looked in retrospect, and I don't think I can really do much else to prove anything except answer questions as honestly as I could.

But since that didn't happen, and Toast is now claiming I'm scum, I need to come out now.

Night one I investigated d3x and got an innocent on him.

It should be clear why I picked who I did both nights. On day 1, I clearly voiced my concerns about d3x's play, and they turned out to be unfounded.

I picked Toast on night 2 because of that extremely scummy hammer on HR. With a newbie you never really know for sure, but now I do.

Well, that's pretty much all I was waiting for. In the above quote, CSL called me a Townie. I felt this to be a huge slip. The fact that he's now calling me {indirectly} Scum with no real case aside from "Zach's protecting his Scum Buddy" put it over the edge for me.

I was hoping to get more information out of him before it all came down, but it would seem CSL is just as interested in dodging actual conversation as Toast was.

The last night

Toast is sent out to the dreadful Mrs Doe, while the two scums, Sigma and Zachrulez, kill off facebook and d3x. "We made it, we made it", they celebrate (but they do keep their voices down not to alarm the dreadful beast of a mother outside). Shortly thereafter they knock on the dorr and give her the corpses of facebook and d3x and tell her the lie that those two gave up and confessed to be the last scums. Mrs Doe embraces them and sends them home each one with as many cupcakes as they can carry. "Thank you, boys, you are heroes!" she said.

I have no objections to the quick topic being posted.

I feel really bad for using d3x like I did. I hope he doesn't think too badly of his own play in this game. I thought he actually played very well and would actually say he was the best townie in the game.

I will put together more detailed thoughts on the game a bit later on. Toast was right though, you guys didn't question my claim enough. (A hypo-scum would counterclaim out of a need for survival, and as it was it was the only way I could have possibly survived.)

Also, if I was town in this game, I would not blame d3x for voting for CSL at all after the way he came in as a replacement and the way he played.

Awesome. Great job, Zach -- you were a fantastic fake cop and scum partner.

I played poorly on day 3. I didn't have a concrete objective in trying to "scum-hunt" d3x those last few days, so I shouldn't have tried at all. Then, I ended up looking scummy trying to hunt him; I was trying to make the point that reluctance to vote can be a scum-tell, but I just looked like I was trying to push him into voting -- exactly what I didn't need to happen. Lesson learned for next time I'm scum.

I really enjoyed the process of matching wits against the town. It'll be interesting playing from the other side and trying to hunt down evil scum -- hope I get the chance soon.

Looking forward to the postgame discussion and more of Zach's thoughts. I had fun playing with you guys, and I'll look forward to running into you in future games.
