No, never really. The only reason why it was any different this time is because I was online when my role PM was delivered, and upon viewing the thread noted two names missing from the list.

Anyway, I don't like how Hoopla's making a big deal about the dice vote, but I don't think its a tell.

What's the reasoning behind the order of the list of players? They're not alphabetic, nor sorted by chronological order of sign-ups or confirmations.

When the thread was first opened, I'm fairly sure the list was alphabetical, but there were two names missing. Checking back after about 30 minutes, the two missing names were added but the list was shuffled when confirmations came in.

Yeah. It was a mod error and a pretty bad one. I left off the names because they were on a separate list. The reason that they were on a separate list is probably pretty self-evident, I think. I panicked a bit and tried to obfuscate the player list to confused Hoopla, but the mistake was already made. In retrospect I probably should have replaced Hoopla but it was possible that someone else saw it, so I wasn't sure if that would solve anything.

So right now I'm feeling that this game is compromised right out of the gate and I'm very sorry about that. However since you've all already signed up for a game and set aside time to play it, it seems like a waste to close this thread. If everyone is willing I can re-send out some new role PMs to everyone and essentially re-start the game from scratch. Whether or not I'm just re-distributing the old setup or using a new setup will not be made public.

So if anyone wants to opt out, I understand. Just let me know either in thread or by PM. I'm going to leave this thread unlocked and I should have new role PMs out by the end of the day (EST).

Fuck, I feel kind of guilty about this now. To be honest, when I noticed it, I didn't think much of it at the time, and my PM to you about the missing names was just out of courtesy to tell you. It didn't click until the game started, as I remember how I randomized roles when I first started modding. Either way, I feel responsible for messing the game up. I should have replaced out, and not spoke without thinking.

Both, actually! I play a lot elsewhere (Im the List Mod for a 30+ish person Mafia community) but I also have an account here that has a lot more posts than 3.

Since the majority of players have confirmed, I'm going to start the scum ~21 hour* pre-talk period now. The game will start Tuesday Morning around 7am EST. I'll grab some replacements for headsigh and mathcam if neither confirms by then. CoCo is still considered V/LA.

* It'd be 24 hours but I have an appointment int he morning, so I'm pretty much just going to open the thread and head out.
