I'm just questioning the "easy treatment" you are giving Dark in a "coaching him through it" kind of way.

I want to make sure that dark understands what he's saying, it appears to me he isn't really aware of the gravity of his vote for me and his following posts. Don't think that I'm not suspicious of his behaviour right now. I just don't see it fitting to vote him just yet.

In essence it's a retaliatory vote, in other words you vote a person only because they voted for you. And usually that's the only reason to vote.

Do note that not all cross voting is omgus.

1) You do realize that games usually start with a "random voting stage" (abbr. rvs), in which players "random vote" other players to get some discussion started. This isn't always necessary and some games start without them. Some players even refuse to random vote.

You see, there was no actual reason behind my vote, other than having a vote placed somewhere. The reason I picked almaster was randomly picked.

Now, if someone were to say "I find player x suspicious" in their first post, people usually expect some explanation.

3) Awkward, but not really that suspicious (how would it make him scum to not want avatars??).

I asked you "What is suspicious about his vote?", because a vote based on something arbitrary [ie. pokemon avatars] often happens on D1, you then quoted his "interesting" vote assuming I would automatically see why it was suspicious without proper reasoning. It seems to me like you were possibly trying to get a bandwagon going on someone based on a false claim.

Also, Dark seems to have gotten really jumpy and done a lot of talking since a couple of votes went against him. A lot of the things he has been saying seem to implicate him [ie. "3) I answer them if I want to answer them."]. However, they could all just be signs of noobness, in which case he is innocent & just attracting attention because he doesn't know what he is doing.

Sure, it makes it seem more likely that Jed is innocent because he is aggressively attacking people a lot, but he could just be doing that to preempt negative attention. By stating your points 2 & 4, you're in effect buddying him.

My vote still stands against Dark though.

It's dangerous for IC's to blast out guns blazing early - because they are known be experienced, their suspicions can rapidly turn into a bandwagon if care is not taken. My Milked Eek may simply be playing lightly in order to prevent this from happening.
