Because that was not "stuff to vote based on" since it was just agreeing with adel throughout.
There was only debatable content in the first few pages in the ren / sera exchange, and I already stated my disapproval to how sera handled it.(1:07:08 AM) Xdaamno: alcohol

It would have to be logic in the first place, which it isn't.Budja wrote:Nice OMGUS. Now why don't you tell mewhymy logic fails.
Scum doesn't stick their necks out in broad daylight to work wagons on players that are threatening or inconvenient. They shut up about it during the day, and nightkill them. Right there, you "logic" breaks down.
Scotmany was neither threat nor inconvenience to scum. Your "logic" takes another hit.
Occam's razor suggests very strongly that I am a paranoid townie. To suggest otherwise, as you have, is scummy.
Hence my vote.Hey Guido, it's all so clear to me now. I'm the keeper of the cheese and you're the lemon merchant, you get it? And he knows it. That's why he's gonna kill us. So we got to beat it, ya, before he lets loose the marmosets on us.-

So since Scotmany wasn't a threat or inconvenience to scum, you could still be scum pushing his wagon? Or am I missing something here?Ren Hoek wrote:Scum doesn't stick their necks out in broad daylight to work wagons on players that are threatening or inconvenient. Well actually they do sometimes. If scum think they can get away with making a pro-town looking player/role suspicious, they could very well do it.Ren wrote: Scum doesn't stick their necks out in broad daylight to work wagons on players that are threatening or inconvenient. You make a bad assumption.
Scot is the creative director, the most important game role. Without a creative director, we have no PR's (yes, the CEO can recruit but that is a one-time thing). The whole purpose of the bus-driver plan is to make sure he lives.Ren wrote: Scotmany was neither threat nor inconvenience to scum. Your "logic" takes another hit.
So attacking the creative director like you did over such a minor thing looks suss.
Occam's razor states that the hypothesis with the fewest assumption's is the most likely truth. Looked at individually, everyone is town by Occum's razor as the probability of a given player being town is reasonably high.Ren wrote: Occam's razor suggests very strongly that I am a paranoid townie. This is a poor excuse to suspect those who suspect you.-

Yes. You are missing that Budja implied that scotmany was a inconvenience on account of his role. I am saying that he's wrong about that, too.Goatrevolt wrote:So since Scotmany wasn't a threat or inconvenience to scum, you could still be scum pushing his wagon? Or am I missing something here?
Was he? Who was he threatening, and how could he possibly be construed to be inconvenient to scum?Goatrevolt wrote:Also, why do you say he wasn't a threat or inconvenience to scum?Hey Guido, it's all so clear to me now. I don't think anyone was clear on that when I was testing scotmany's mettle; that certainly was the case for me.Budja wrote:Scot is the creative director, the most important game role. It's completly logical that scum would be looking for a reason to lynch the CD, if the CD is town. You really seemed to be reaching to try to find reasons to attack the CD. Therefore...Ren Hoek wrote:

Um...he's the creative director. He gives out ALL of the power roles. If two creative directors die, or get lynched, or whatever, then boom, no more power roles, EVER. The CD is the biggest single asset the town has, and therefore the biggest threat to scum.Scotmany was neither threat nor inconvenience to scum. Your "logic" takes another hit.
Not only that, it's not going to work for you to play dumb and act like you didn't know that, since it's already all been discussed in thread.

If this is random voting, I don't think that's appropriate at this point in time, given that there is actually proper discussion going on. It's effectively an active lurking tool.
1) Ren's reasoning was badRen Hoek wrote:Yosarian2 wrote:

2) Ren's actions have obvious scum motivation
3) Therefore, a vote on Ren is justified
It isn't lynch material, but it's hardly not logical.
But scum who know (or think) that scum don't stick their necks in such a manner out have an obvious incentive to do so. This is just WIFOM play. Adel's 426 pretty much captures this exactly.Ren wrote: Scum doesn't stick their necks out in broad daylight to work wagons on players that are threatening or inconvenient.
