Well, I can't find any flaws in TDC's reasoning, so see no need to wait... And yeah, I think we've won this. I'm the jailkeeper. N1 I (actually Shinnen) jailed dejkha (he might be able to confirm this depending on how his result was phrased but possibly not), N2 I jailed kmd4390. dejkha, who'd you track?

So I'm confirmed town because Cavebear jailed me and there was a kill with only one scum left. The only way this doesn't work is if Cavebear is scum which would leave me as town anyway.

Scum is either TDC or ThAdmiral. TDC looks pretty townie. If ThAd flips townie, we lynch TDC tomorrow for the win. If he never comes in to claim, and flips a power role, we lynch whoever claimed his role for the win. Either way, lynching ThAd is a town win.

Actually, Dej. You either tracked Cavebear or you tracked the scum (TDC or ThAd). You should claim who you tracked. If it wasn't Cavebear, we win today. If it was, we lynch ThAd today and TDC tomorrow if necessary.

We can't lose.

Well good game guys.

I was pretty much hoping for a miracle in the end but no such luck. This set up seems quite difficult for the scum to win unless they get an early PR kill.

Oh well.

@ Dej: well you got your wish and your two policy lynch policy paid off. I will note that emp wasn't scum though :wink:

That's the thing I don't really feel the town did all that well with the exception of TDC. Also shinnen disappearing didn't help because almost all of the pressure went off her.
She was my planned lynch for day 2 but then zwet committed stupicide.

First: Sorry Dejkha, I've been exceptionally busy and forgot, but I would have sent it (had I had a moment to check in earlier).

The ending was clear, and yet, Thadmiral couldn't lose to checkmate.

"No!" The Mafia A member declined, "I already know I lost."

With that, Thadmiral tipped his king and admitted: "Yeah, yeah. I guess 7 v 2 was a little bold for me to claim. I guess I'm just not good at your house version of chess. I'll be sure to be more careful next time."

"There won't be a next time," Cavebear with a toothache claimed aloud. The town looked with horror as the insane townie, in a rage, used his large hands and enormous hands to choke and murder Thadmiral. Zwetchenwasser, Thadmiral's losing partner in chess game, looked in horror as his friend died.

"No." He uttered, but this was his last word. Cavebear with a toothache pulled the revolver from Thadmiral's pocket and aimed at the other mafia member, and shot him.

With the entire town witnessing this gruesome murder, Cavebear with a toothache was taken into custody. He was found guilty for 2 counts of murder in the second degree.

Still it makes one wonder why the paranoid Jail keeper, who was the harshest on crime...seemed to actually like Cavebear and befriend him...

(For the secret mini game, the insane townies and the jailkeeper win!*)

NOTE: ThAdmiral is brilliant scum today. Based purely off today's play, if Zwetchenwasser is day 2 lynch, I'd say Scum's odds of winning are 99.9%. ThAdmiral dying would be exceptionally unlikely and the Zwet sacrifice (if he faces even the slightest fire) would be a brilliant (and widely unexpected) middle game move.
Night 1 actions:
Zwetchenwasser kills Grimmy
Dejkha tracks TDC
Shinnen_no_Me blocks&protects Dejkha
NOTE: Terrible bad luck for town. Looking at day, Shinnen possibly should have blocked ThAdmiral (second scum), but he didn't commit the crime. I could also see logic for blocking zwet, but Shinnen did not show any significan suspicion. Overall, this isn't terrible play, just bad luck. Odds tipped in scums favor. Odds of winning T:M;32%:68%* Return note error: Actually, looking more deeply, confirming Dejkha was very favorable for town. Actual odds turned out to be almost 70% in town's favor.

Mafia Note: I disagree with the Mafia's kill, but they really couldn't tell who was who. The PRs played well, just got jipped because Shinnen had slightly better insight than mafia, which was unfortunate as the secrecy she might have noticed in Dejkha was PR and not mafia. Sad, but the PRs are good at reading. Dejkha tracking TDC makes sense for a similar reason, but could be TDC's play style since TDC appears bored with this game.*

Day 2 theme:
Macbeth
(NOTE: Hint of this in flavor as Macbeth was written/presented first in 1605-06)

People weren't jumping to conclusions so good wagons were hard to form. That old adage about a long day 1 being good for town once again proves itself true.
Furthermore they had a watertight gameplan on the final day. At that point there was no way for them to lose.
