Yes, but every lynch gives us information to help find the mafia. Even when we lynch a townie, we can look at the lynch wagon and the lynched player's actions to help us figure out who the mafia are. If they're a townie, their suspicions and stuff can help. If you're a townie and you're lynched, make sure to get your final thoughts out there so people know what you were thinking about the mafia.
I wasn't saying townie lynches were necessarily "good ideas", but they can give us a lot of information to help the remaining townies find the mafia.

cow is an excellent teacher/instructor
cow is an elite player (at least in my eyes)
however with those points being said please do not base your opinion of whether or not cow is scum by how helpful cow will be to game play. If cow steps out of line and says something anti town call cow on it and don't let him get away with it.
but for right i believe cow is town, i don't know it for sure but for NOW i am content to call cow town

granted this is a game and a commitment but i do not want any one to freak out during finals week and i have no life so i can wait till everyone gets back.

Um, ok. This is very odd to me why you would be pleased with the town being confused and pointing fingers. Usually it is a good thing for scum when the town is confused, because then the scum can simply sit back and watch the destruction, so if you ARE scum then I can see how this would be "great."
The rest of your post you first vote cow and then attempt to justify it. Call me a psychologist, but I see this as voting without justification and then attempting to convince us why we should agree with you, instead of convincing us first and then voting, which is how I have seen it normally done. It just looks like a vote to lynch cow, who could likely be the best help town will have all game, for no good reason.
Right now you look very scummy to me, but for all I know you could be just really newbie town, I'm not really sure. Basically I don't like how unsure you are of what you are doing. If you're going to vote, make sure there's a good reason for it, not simply to get a lynch.

i'm either "scum" i assume that is mafia. or i am a newbie. I think it's pretty obvious that i'm a newbie to this whole thing. this is the first time i'm playing mafia online.
as for me loving the confusion and suspicion. i'm just a fan of the game of Mafia. but i'm not liking the feeling of being ganged up on. if you look at the message a couple messages before my first post, you can see that i was voted for. even though it sucks that i was voted for, i still love the confusion and suspicion because mafia is such a cool game.
and as for convincing first and then voting. i didn't know that was the procedure. from what i've seen, people just throw out a random vote against someone. sometimes with no explanation at all. and not to make it too personal, BUT i feel like i was voted against without ppl explaining beforehand.
SO, all this to say that your logic doesn't make sense to me. i voted for "COW" i assume that is hasdgfas, because i didn't see the logic in what they were saying. you can read my reason. it wasn't simply to lynch. and i even said that if there was some explanation i would reconsider my vote. the only person that defended COW was COW. no one else said anything, so my vote wont' change.
btw. i don't think you have a good reason to vote me. there's no way you can no who "scum" is right now. especially in a first round right? everyone's a possibility.
it's not like cow has played some card that proves they are not mafia, and neither have you, and neither have i. it's the first round. everything is just poor speculation. BUT you think you have a good reason to vote for me. so go ahead. i can't stop you.
