I've answered all that needs to be answered about quoting. And then some...
I disagree.
Quoting= Helpful to the town. Agree or disagree?

Quote pyramids= Result of laziness and not taking the time to erase older quotes. Agree or disagree?

What more do you need to know (honest question)?
I get that part, I'm just asking if you were purposefully trying to act just a bit scummy to avoid a scum night-kill.

OK, thanks for answering. Sorry to have brought it up again. It actually did contribute to catching Shin, so it wasn't all bad.

W00T no mislynches! Go us townies! Good job scum for being scummy as hell!
GIEFF wrote:Nicely done, guys. I thought I'd have to fight a lot harder on Day 2 to not get lynched, and when that didn't happen, I assumed one of the PR's had an innocent on me. Good job holding off my non-stop attacks on you, ac1983.
Heh, it wasn't all to hard. Its not too hard to defend yourself when you're town, IMO. But had I been scum, you probably would've been able to get me lynched much easier, IMO.
Not a dayvig.

No problem. And it was actually Emp's case, not the quoting itself that led to catching Shin.

Yeah, but the fact that Shin didn't respond to Emp's case became part of the case, too.

did
agree with Shin's reasons for not responding though...

We did end up winning though, so it's all good.

It's funny how sometimes you run a set-up to see how a certain set of roles interact and then, through good play and bad luck, none of those interactions ever end up mattering. The cop was never faced with weighing a claim against the fact that the doc wouldn't be able to protect him, the scum never had to try and outguess the doc to prevent a cop nightkill anyway (wasting the result), etc. and etc. I'd love to see this run again, and I'd happily participate from the beginning.

Shin must learn that saying the case on you is bad is not a good way of defending yourself. >_>
Taking a temporary retirement from playing mafia games... damn you invitationals.

No, but the cop did almost nail a townie to the wall because he got protected when he had no reason to think he was worthy of protection. I nearly tunnel-visioned us into a mislynch based on my night results. I'm glad the tracker backed me up in targetting Tuber again or that could have ended badly.

The doc protected randomly. The odds that the random-protection was on Tuber was 1/9, so the odds you were actually scum were 89%.

ZEEnon did, too - acting really scummy, then lurking for a week. Grandi tried his best to explain ZEEnon's behavior, but it was just too much.

I really like the setup, but I think this game we just got lucky by having really scummy players. But its a pretty sweet variation of a typical cop-doc setup.
