This is my first game on a Forum, although I have played twice a variant of the game before in real life.Spinach wrote:
Concerning this, it would be nice to know how many games you guys have been in. After reading your post Family:Kostic, I'm beginning to think too that Mufasa is just a bit enthusiastic. I won't vote for him now.
I'm surprised no one has voted for me now. I'm one of the few who hasn't said a lot and I'm really surprised no one has begun to suspect me. Well, it doesn't mean I want someone to vote for me but I'm just a bit surprised, that's all.-

I'm compiling a short list of my current thoughts on each player individually, and it should be ready by tonight.

I think I voted a bit fast but, well I won't unvote yet.
There are two possibilities about Seamus' claiming of being mafia :
Either he's telling the truth or either he is lying. In every case, there is one question : "Why is he making that claim ?"
I ask everyone to stop voting for Seamus until he has answered this question. In the meantime, we can continue what we were discussing before he posted and made his claim.
Depending on Seamus' answer, I'll decide if I'll unvote or now.-

Bladewing, earlier you said you were waiting before voting for someone. Hohum asked what you were waiting for and you never answered. You've voted now, but I'd still like to know what it was you were waiting for.-

What do you want to hear from me ? The ones I suspect the most ? If it is what you want, I can tell you I suspected Mufasa a lot but now I think he is just a bit eager to play this game although I keep an eye on him. I am beginning to be suspicious of neko2086 but I don't have a special reason for this. As for you and hohum, I have nothing to say about you two. You haven't acted suspicious. I don't know what to think of Spinach and Family:Kostic.Gabe wrote:Bladewing Vorox - I want to hear more from you.
neko, why do you think that this ->
is scummy ?I was waiting for someone saying something suspicious.-

I thought you would vote for me and it seems I was right.neko2086 wrote:The discussion between Gabe and FK is pretty much wifom. It's not going to go anywhere.
BV- first of all, you FOSed Mufasa early on, but I don't recall you suspecting him at all after that.
Second, it's interesting that you say you're suspecting me now that I'm calling you out on something.
Third, about the quote, it's scummy because this game requires that we all contribute to the game. You're saying that you don't mind sitting back and letting somebody make a mistake. Well, townies are pretty dispensable early in the game, so they have very little reason to want to sit back and watch, whereas scum have more reason to play cautiously.
unvote; vote: Bladewing Vorox
You and Spinach are both playing very cautiously.
First, I kept an eye on Mufasa's posts but I did not said I suspected him after that.
Second, I didn't thought of that when I posted.
Third, I have a reason for playing cautiously but I think it's too early to reveal it although I can reveal it if you want.-

Actually, I do agree with neko about Spinach. I want to hear more from him, so...
Vote : Spinach
If he convince me he is not a scum, I'll unvote him.
Mufasa -> He is a bit "eager" to play but I think we should keep an eye on him.
I don't have a lot to say about you, Gabe, neko2086 and Family:Kostic.-

I'll try to post tomorrow.Mufasa wrote:OK well, seams like an active bunch of people, Well here are my thoughts Spinach hasn't said anything, neko is away, Bladewing no clue, and Gabe really donno either. Spinach is currently in L-1 and hasnt said anything to save himself, in my opinion. Inactive? Hmm, I'm just not sure as of right now.-

Sorry everyone. I really just don't see myself having time for this anymore, even when I get back home.
It's been fun.
By the way, I'm going tounvote. I only voted against Spinach to get him to talk. It doesn't mean that I'm believing him. If I have reasons to vote for him again, I'll do it.-

No, I unvoted (look at post 238), so Spinach should have one vote. Neko had unvoted before he left and Mufasa's vote is still against Spinach, so there should be one vote.farside22 wrote:Gabe wrote:

Hohum, with Neko and now Kison, is one of the two who hadn't acted suspicious a lot. I wanted to hear more about him but it seems it didn't work, which I expected a bit because it was the only vote he had on him. I also considered voting Mufasa but he said he was absent until Sunday, so even if we voted against him, he could have defended himself.Family:Kostic wrote:Bladewing, since you claimed, very promptly after you were voted & accused of being scummy, that you had a pro-townie power role you have gone very quiet and seem content to lay low. Your vote on Hohum was a very bold move but provided no real reasons to why you did it and has provoked no form of defence from Hohum, this makes me think that maybe it is a dummy vote to throw off any possible partnership between you two.
Having said that, it was a vote from Hohum that prompted you to claim as a Doc (putting you at L-2 after Neko's initial vote). Any pressure did not last after that as Neko unvoted as did hohum immediately after.
If I was being critical, this could also possibly be seen as a dummy pressure vote that didn't go according to plan, hence the "facepalm" and the swiftness that all votes were removed. But this is a very tricky situation to properly asses.
Something I did pick up on though was that Hohum seemed to 'guide' Bladewing through when he did place his vote on him, prompting him to "contribute more opinions" and then saying
after pressure voting Spinach with Neko & mufasa for no real reason.. Seems like a bit of guidence to me..hohum wrote:I appreciate that you're participating now but please do more than just pressure voting. Who do you think is scummy and why?
When Blade went through who he thought was scummy and why, it was very, VERY breif.
Thoughts:Limited pro-town behaviour, bar the claim, and suss behaviour as pointed out. Therefore, Looking scummy..
As for the reasons you suspect me. I can say that I didn't think that far and if I was someone else, looking at the game, I'll think that hohum and I may be the two scums.
I think it is time to defend myself. I do think you're right about my vote on Spinach, I didn't had a real reason for it. I think that I was just trying to participate more, so I wouldn't look more suspicious. As for my brief post on who I thought was scummy, well, it's just that I'm not very good at making long posts.
As for why hohum unvoted swiftly after my claim, you should ask him. However, I think that not unvoting when someone claim he is a doc is a sign that you may be scummy.-

Well, here are my thoughts.
Mufasa: He seems to be less eager than he was before but voting for himself was a bad move (and a wierd one too). I don't think he is scum but we should keep an eye on him, just in case of.
hohum: He is a good player but him asking for more votes on Family: Kostic seems a bit strange to me. I want to hear more from him but he hasn't responded yet.
Spinach: He doesn't seems active a lot. I'm going to read his posts again and try to find something.
I don't have anything to say about kison, Gabe and Family: Kostic yet.
Sorry for the short post.-

You were suspicious, not an "easy kill". You had only one vote against you. This, added to some actions before leads me toMufasa wrote:cool nice to see a hohum replacement, he was rather dry, but in the art that has become, I had strong feelings for Hohum being mafia, and you comming in and automatically going after me after I reportedly said I'd vote for Hohum, makes me just a suspecious as I was before, you think I am an easy kill therefore my vote isvote: qwintsUnvoteandvote : Mufasa-

I do agree with you on this point. Seamus is a good example : he was scummy but after we lynched him at Day 1, he turned out to be a townie. That's why those we think as pro-town may be scum.Walnut wrote: Also, FK does not call the ICs "too townie"- he says that he expects town-like play from them, and therefore he does not rule them out as scum. This is an important distinction- good players play almost identically as town and scum, and the idea that mafia are consistently and obviously scummy (Seamus, anyone?) is just not right.
For the moment, I'm going tounvoteandvote : Gabe. You are one of the two (the other being kison) I want to hear more from.-

That would be a poor play for my part if it was the reason behind my vote.Family:Kostic wrote:Another thing too. Very poor play by BV, if you vote for someone with the reason that you want to hear more from them then you should ask what you want to know..
So, my two scummiest players atm are Qwints and Bladewing Vorox. Although I do have to review a few of BV's posts..
I want to hear what Gabe has to say first, I'll ask more precise questions after if I think it is necessary.-

I'm feeling watched.
I'm getting tired of this day and I think me voting so soon for Gabe was an error because my reasons of suspecting him were stupid. This said, I'm going tounvotebut I'm not going to vote against Mufasa even though I really want to end this day. I still think of him as an eager player and not as someone scummy.
Another reason for me not voting for him is that I protected him during Night 1 and I'll find stupid voting for someone you protected whithout thinking he may be a scum.
Some of you may think that me not voting for Mufasa may be a sign of me and Mufasa being the two scums but I repeat that I am theDoctorwhether you believe this claim or not.-

Good game everyone. I wasn't really surprised that qwints turned out to be the mafia because I have suspected him before.
I may not have been very active and I made some errors (for example : my vote against Gabe, my claim at L-2 and me saying that I was surprised that there weren't any votes against me at Day 1) but it was fun and I hope I'll have the chance to play with any of you (except Seamus).
