Ok, I'm now on page 14, when MM switches over to voting Gremweld.
Monkeyman, can you explain why think Gremweld is scummy? You've been saying all game you were willing to vote for him, and you did on page 14, but I don't think I've yet seen you say, in your own word, why YOU think he is scummy.
It's not that I disagree with that, mind you, but I want to hear your reasoning.I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie-

Yeah, I think it's a pretty strong case. I haven't been deceitful.MacavityLock wrote:

"I think, and my thoughts cross the barrier into the synapses of the machine, just as the good doctor intended. But what I cannot shake, and what hints at things to come, is that thoughts cross back. In my dreams, the sensibility of the machine invades the periphery of my consciousness: dark, rigid, cold, alien. Evolution is at work here, but just what is evolving remains to be seen."

Precisely. When you put it that way though, I can see why no one believes me.Yos wrote:Occam gave a piece of bad stratagy advice, and in response, you and several other people voted him. That seems pretty clear, Cephrir. It does not look like a randomly placed vote, unless you someone completly failed to notice that in the 3 posts privious to yours 2 other people voted the same person."I would prefer not to." --Herman Melville,Bartleby the Scrivener-

Farside isn't putting a vote down. Why is this? Even an Occam vote would make me happy because I often look at end of day vote counts to get information and she's skewing it a bit. Granted if she is tossing up several possibilities that makes sense....
On tomorrow's target claims, straight popcorn is the way to go. It gives us heaps of information when scumflip just based on who they choose. It's unfortunate that good oral sex excuses bad chemistry. - Korts-

I was thinking about Grem and what he said the Yos2 made a point and I am pondering some things that bother me in the back of my head. I believe Grem may be the scum or MM. I think one of them is the right call. (call this gut if you will). MM just writes everyone's points off and lied about what he was being called on. Grem has disappeared which makes me very weirded out, but I read he isn't posting anywhere so it just null at this point.Oman wrote:Farside isn't putting a vote down. Why is this? I had hoped Grem would have said something before Yos2 did, but it can't be helped.
I'm going to stick with the wishy washyness that is MM at this point.

Firstly, don't forget SK/Mafia.MonkeyMan576 wrote:

Could GremandMM be scum or just one or the other?

Ok, just about caught up now.
Meh. Don't really find it surprising, and charters' reasons make sense. I am deeply disturbed that Occam's self vote actually seemed to benifit him, though.Raging Rabbit wrote:Yos, what do you think of charter's unvote immediately following Occam's selfvote?
I'm leaning towards voting Gremwell right now; just let me read his posts in isolation first.I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie-

Yeah, he hasn't really said anything, and this post is really scummy:
Only thing that bugs me is that, he's the doc. I really don't want to lynch the doc today, considering the cop is already out in the open.Gremwell wrote:Ok I was hoping to get more people's thoughts on that but I think a day's long enough, anything more and it will get lost in the shuffle.
obviously I didn't actually want a plan like that to go through, I proposed it to get reactions, mainly on how fariside and Occam would respond in regards to the idea.
What I got is that as far as I could tell neither really that sure the other is scum, Farside criticized my plan and Occam voted me saying that he dosn't think farside is scum at all.
from the others I got a lot of FOS's, which was expected, but not much else.
In conclusion, my personal feelings on farside/Occam is right now two townies, though there is something to be said about the level of how personally they seem to be taking the argument, but that said personal shots and vendettas loose games.
GREM, IF THE COP DIES TONIGHT, WE ASSUME YOU ARE SCUM AND LYNCH YOU TOMMOROW, DO YOU UNDERSTAND? YOUR ONLY JOB IS TO KEEP THE COP ALIVE TONIGHT.
(Yes, I understand the discussion about why we should not discuss night actions, but I think this is an exception.)
So long as he responds to that in a positive way, I'm thinking I might not want to lynch him today; if he is pro-town, scum probably have to kill him, no matter how many people suspect him, becuse they can't get rid of the cop if he's alive. (Unless scum have a redirector or roleblocker, but he can't mess with that without giving himself away anyway).I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie-

I don't know. I feel like one is scum for sure. Just that something feels off I can't explain feeling. One could be the SK. I really don't believe they are scum together. Just the back and forth. MM's willingness to vote Grem with no reason I don't know how MM plays but when I buss my scum buddy I find reason. Just saying.Oman wrote:Oh thats right, you had the vote removed to avoid the hammer, is that right?

I love how charter ignores my comments calls me scum for no reason then backs off a post later.Sarcasm is just a way of saying how stupid you think someone is but in a more polite way.-

It wasn't a bait. I pretty much told her I wanted her to chuck a vote down. Yos is still reading and Grem isn't here, so asking them doesn't really have a point.charter wrote:Farside gets demoted to almost certainly scum, just below Gremwell again. Not looking to start a wagon on farside anymore. MM reading is still the same.
I didn't notice that Oman baited her into revoting. Fos Oman. It's unfortunate that good oral sex excuses bad chemistry. - Korts-

Farside, I explained why you went back down, I reread and saw that you revoted because Oman questioned your lack of vote, because earlier you said you unvoted to wait for Gremwell. I don't see any of your comments I should have commented on that I ignored either.
Oman, you even said a few minutes after farside revoted, that she took her vote off to avoid a hammer. It just seems like you knew this when questioning her about not having her vote on (because she didn't say anything about it in her post).-

Unvote
Vote; Gremwell
Though I still think MM is scummy, rereading the thread, I feel that Gremwell's plan, the famous "It wasn't scummy, it was a gambit" and the "I'll wait to see other's options" puts her/him as scummier.Plus, if you guys want to make a point, skip the walls, because everyone else in the game does as well. - Magister Ludi-

Raging rabbit: Can you explain why you think MM is scum, as opposed to just making newbie mistakes? I mean, reading back at your attacks on him; one point you raised against him was a "anti-town is not the same as scummy" theory debate, and another one was "You said had a policy and then you changed it" thing, and both of those seems more like newbie behavior then scummy behavior to me. Can you explain specifically what he did that makes you think he's scum?I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie
