KMD and I had the feeling (and it has been proven to be true) that the previous game could cause trouble for us, and therefore we wanted to build in some safety for the first rounds, after that the game would be well started, and nobody would think about it anymore.

I know people didn't look positive at me after the previous game, even if I can be a help in the challenges. So I feared we would be out very quick, for the wrong reasons.

How crywolf gets the idea that this was a final four, is kind of weird. After the previous game I couldn't imagine KMD not having an alliance with farside. So how could it be his plan to take us with him so long? He hasn't promised me, and I don't know what he said to the other two. I only know that the whole "alliance" proved to be nothing, resulting in the voting out of KMD.

So crywolf, you can post it here, or PM me, but what is the big plan? If you think you have a final four, you wouldn't tell anybody... But nobody ever told you it was going to be that long. So why tell that the whole tribe? If you wanted KMD out, you have done brilliantly, and I could only be amazed. But what would be the use?

Now I thought I was in an alliance with like 3 other people (myko of course, and then crywolf and ani by extension), but then that last TC showed that that was complete garbage. I do know who myko voted, but I can't be sure about anybody else.

And now though it seems like I'm the obvious choice to kill in the next TC, it would be kind of pointless. I'm active (aside from last TC), and my alliance is dead, so my vote can totally be bought now.

since when did I name farside? thank you for the information. and yes, call me naive. But after KMD got out, there was little to change anyway. There was already a majority that would rule the tribe. And they didn't like me in, so on the first excuse they could find, I was out. Can't blame them, it's the game. But I had to be a mastermind, and a bit less naive and more convincing in the first round to make this one.

and I don't feed for Zazie, I feel there are people that play this game to well, and control it too much. not that much fun for me to watch, and I can imagine that it is not that much fun for the persons that follow.

Hmm, I think a that being a "mastermind" has a lot to do with what kind of person you are. You can do it, you would have fun with it, and I would suspect you for it. I should have in my own team, because there the game was played very well (as you can see with the votes). Personally, I think if that kind of game is played, and you can keep that up till the end of the game, you would deserve to win.

I'm not rooting esspecially against you... and to react to farside: I know that plans blow up, that is (esspecially from the outside) the most fun thing about this game. The more backstabbing, the bigger the mess, the more I will enjoy this game. So shanba, when you could count that zazie must not have voted, you know exactly who voted for who, and you knew that you were not going to be out this round. That is good for you, but has little entertainment value.

drench has had too many ties with people from the start of the game to make this easy.

On the other hand, drench is the person that could really change something in his tribe. Like people pointed out: Cybele and Farside are sitting there comfortably, and I would see no reason for one of them to make a mess of it, as they should be able to pick the heads. Shadowlurker is the only one that could possibly make a surprise possible, but Shadowlurker is also the person that I would think would never be in danger in that tribe. Crywolf could be next, but I don't have that good read on this game anymore. If crywolf isn't in danger, then she has played a great gamble and won, but I just don't see it.

But it was more that these candidates for the votes never were dangerous. They were chosen because people don't understand this game completely. They chose easy targets, but they don't see that it is not a game of cooperation.

The person that backstabs first, and does it well, will be the winner. Choosing to cooperate is only giving your opponent an other chance to backstab you before you can backstab him.

And don't think that people won't do it, because it wouldn't be reasonable. In this game you vote out the persons that would make you lose, even if you were allies. Then you are making up all kinds of excuses to explain your vote. The problem is, some people actually think these excuses are the reasons for the voteout, and they can't understand why anybody would vote them out. There wouldn't be a reason...

Nah, that's bullshit man. The last thing you want to do is garner a reputation of being untrustworthy, and lying and scheming early on is the best way to do that. Why do you think Zazier went so quickly? She schemed from day 1. She dug her own grave. It's really silly to stab, scheme or plot early, or hell, even late. Why break up an alliance until it's absolutely necessary?

Never said she should have done it that way. No way that you would have been earlier to break up an alliance. Look, I don't say that you should do it as fast as possible, I say you should do it earlier then your opponent. This game is not about being nice, and people that are too nice won't have a chance (I don't think Crazy has even tried to do anything to win). But you can be too late. So waiting until it is absolutely necesary is just waiting too long. Everybody will see it coming. You won't play to win the game, you will play to be friends with each other.

But I understand why you and farside are so eager to disagree with me, although you know backstabbing is part of the game: you can't use chaos now. If everybody went searching for new allies, if the alliances you have now would crumble because multiple people would have the possibility to become allies with people outside you alliance, then you would lose your good position. At the moment you have an alliance that works, and that will get you far, you want to keep it there till the last moment. But it is not usefull for the people that you only use for their vote, but that have no chance.

Following means you are not making choices on who to vote out and you have no alliance to really speak of you are just hoping to make it as far as you can and people will forget about you.
So for every person that follows you have a person that will take advantage of them.
