Town Jack of Weird Cops


You are a jack of all trades with the following 1-shot abilities you may use over the course of the game.

Author Cop
: Target a player during the night. Assuming no interference with your action you will learn the author behind your target's role.

Color Cop
: Target a player during the night. Assuming no interference with your action you will learn the hex code of the post your target got their role from.

Publishing Self-Cop
: During the night, target yourself. Assuming no interference with your action you will learn if your target is
mafia
aligned. Possible results are
Mafia
,
Not Mafia
, and No result (i.e your action was blocked). The results of this investigation will be published by the mod during the following daystart.

Uncop-itizing PT Cop
: Target a player during the night. Assuming no interference with your action, you will learn if your target has access to any private topics. Upon successful use you will also give your target a compulsive 1-shot uncop ability that they must target someone with during the following night phase. If successsful the target will be informed that the player is not a "cop". The uncop ability will fail should the person using it be a cop.

Dark Arts Practitioner


You inherently have access to a night kill ability that you may use to attempt to kill other players with at night. You also have access to the following additional special abilities of which one can be used per night alongside your killing ability

Dark Void
-During Odd-Numbered Night phases you may elect to pull a player into the shadow realm during that night phase. This action has priority over most other actions. While in the shadow realm, your target will be rendered untargetable and all actions they perform will fail.

Dark Corruption
-Once a game, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action that player will perform a night kill on a target of your choosing in your steed. This action replaces your night kill, the night it is used.

Dark Shroud
-Once a game, you may envelop the field with heavy darkness during the night. This will cause all actions other than your Night Kill to fail. Upon using this ability Dark Void and Dark Corruption will be disabled.

You win when you are the last person left standing or when nothing can prevent the same.

Evil Scientist


You are a evil scientist who holds access to a deadly neurovirus that allows you to control the minds of its victims. You wish to take over the world

You have the following factional abilities:

Weapon X Virus
:Mind Control in it's purest form. Each night you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, permanently put your target under the influence of the virus.

X Virus Beta
: Clouds the mind of it's victims temporarily. Each night, you have two beta virus capsules you can target players with. If successful you'll temporarily put your targets under the influence of the virus. Each capsule will put the victim under the virus's control for the next two day phases. These capsules can stack (e.g, you can use both capsules on 1 player for a 4 day duration instead). Should someone who is temporarily under the virus's control die or be eliminated before they can break free, the effects become permanent.

Bioscanner (Night 2 and 4)
: During Nights 2 and 4, you may use your bioscanner to get a list telling you who all is currently under control of the virus.

Forced Assimilation (2-Shot)
: Twice a game, this may be used in conjunction with
Weapon X Virus
or
X Virus Beta
. Upon doing so these abilities will gain the effect of bypassing ascetic modifiers (not blocking actions though)

World Domination
: When you believe that 80% or more of all players (both living and dead) are under control of the virus, you may post
INFECT
in the main thread. Should that threshold be achieved upon doing so, you will take over the world and win the game with all other factions losing. Should that threshold not be achieved, you will leave the game in disgrace, losing in the process.

Paradox


If drawn, reroll for the player's role but add "paradox" to the end of the role name. Another player chosen at random will be made a paradox as well. Both paradoxes will become informed of the existence of another paradox in the game as well as their identity. Should the game end with both paradoxes still alive, the fabric of space and time will rip apart shattering reality and causing everyone to lose.

Should a player draw this role, at the beginning of the game they will be told that they are a randomly chosen town-aligned role featured within "Grand Idea Mafia" and will receive a role PM that reflects this. Upon day 1 ending, the player will be informed that they are actually a Mafia Soon and will join the Mafia at the beginning of day 2. Upon this occurring they will gain full access to the Mafia's factional abilities.

The mafia is informed of the existence of a Mafia Soon as well as their identity upon gamestart.

You are a Mafia Noon. Why are you called a Mafia Noon? Well you've gained a bit of a reputation for having great power when the clock strikes noon. You realize you can potentially use this to oust people.


Upon receiving this role, you will inform the mod of the timezone you live under. As long as you are alive, anyone who posts at exactly noon your time will be compulsively day killed by you. Be warned though, the first 2 times this triggers your identity will be hidden, from the third time onwards your identity as a Mafia Noon will be revealed. Also this ability can trigger on friendly fire, your teammates should post with caution.

Once per game you may use your night ability. Upon doing so you will turn this ability off for the duration of the following day phase.

Mafia 2-Shot Crony


Twice a game during the night, if you are not the player performing the factional kill you may utilize your ability. Assuming no interference with your action, upon doing so you will visit the target of the factional kill alongside the player who is committing said factional kill. Should the original factional kill fail to kill the target for any reason, you will attempt to shoot the target again, killing them if they were not protected.

Town Amnesiac Cop


Each night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action . You will learn whether your target is aligned with the
town
or not.

You know you had a role, but you forgot what it was. Upon the game starting, you'll receive a role PM indicating that you forgot what your role was (that is to say your role will be hidden). After night 3, you will remember what your ability was and you'll gain knowledge to the full ability of your role. You may still elect to use any abilities you have access to before you regain your memory though you won't know what they do. You are incompetent at making your medicines though. Due to this there's a 50% chance that your target will be poisoned instead of healed, causing them to die at the end of the next night if not healed by anyone. Players will be informed should they be poisoned.

Each night, you will passively visit all players who died during the night. As long as you are alive, players will be informed of the cause of death for those who died during the night (e.g if a Mafia Rolecop killed someone, they would be said to have died to the mafia when they flip. If a vigilante killed someone, they would be said to have been shot by a vigilante when they flip, etc.).



Was creating a counterpart to the pagebottom role just before it.

Town Love Interest


Upon drawing this role, two other players will be selected at random to form a love triangle with you. Said players will be informed that they are fighting for your love as well as who there competitor is. By the end of day 3, you must choose one of them to enter a relationship with causing the other to unavoidably die of heartbreak as a result.

You may change your choice up to the deadline by PMing the mod. You may also elect to make your choice early during the day phase, immediately killing the player you didn't choose due to heartbreak by PMing the mod with intent to make a final decision, though this will end the day upon you doing so. This relationship does not loverize you with your selected player.

You are not in a PT with your other compatriots and begin the game lacking access to the factional kill ability. You know who the other Mafia are, and they know who you are, but you cannot communicate with them privately.

Should you be the last non-traitor Mafioso left alive, you will be given access to the Mafia PT and the factional kill and will be treated as a full member of the faction for all intents and purposes (e.g if this role and a traitor are the last mafia remaining, this role will become a full mafia member and the traitor will not be endgamed).

Town 2-Shot Game Splitter


Twice a game, at night, you may activate your ability. Upon doing so, you must choose half of the players alive during that night phase rounded up by 1 to be sent to a different gamethread upon next daystart. You may choose yourself with this ability. Those chosen by this ability will be sent to a second gamethread upon next daystart and will not be allowed to post in the original gamethread during that day phase. Respectively those left in the original gamethread will not be allowed to post in the 2nd gamethread during that day phase. Mafia 2-Shot Game Splitter


Twice a game, at night, you may activate your ability. Upon doing so, you must choose half of the players alive during that night phase rounded up by 1 to be sent to a different gamethread upon next daystart. You may choose yourself with this ability. Those chosen by this ability will be sent to a second gamethread upon next daystart and will not be allowed to post in the original gamethread during that day phase. Respectively those left in the original gamethread will not be allowed to post in the 2nd gamethread during that day phase. Town Maniac


Each night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action you will kidnap them during the night. You and your target will leave town for the preceding day phase and will be unable to post in the main thread or any PTs during this time. A separate thread will be opened where you and the person you kidnapped will be able to converse until the end of the following night phase at which point they will be released. Upon successfully kidnapping someone, you will need to wait two night phases to pass before you can use this ability again. The person you kidnapped will be considered untargetable until they are released.

Once per game, you may at any time elect to execute your current hostage by PMing the mod with intent to do so. This will unavoidably kill them unless the target is deathproof. Should your target somehow not die (due to being deathproof) you will be refunded your execute ability. Should you kill someone using your execute, the mod will reveal this at the end of the next night phase alongside the other flips. You will regain access to any threads you were in early should you successfully execute, though the main thread will not be informed of this and you may elect to refrain from posting in certain threads if you so wish.

You have a bunch of watercolor paints that you can help color VCs with! Each night, you may target up to 3 players with basic paints or 1 player with rare paint. Assuming no interference with your action, you will paint your targets changing the color of the names on vote counts along with some other effects. These paints are permanent unless their paint color is changed back

You have the following basic paints, these are infinite shot and have no additional effects outside of painting the playername

Haunting Jester


You win when you are eliminated from the game. You lose should you be alive when the game ends or you exit the game from means other than elimination

Should you be eliminated, during the following night phase you must choose another player in the game. That player will be haunted by you causing them to unavoidably die at the end of that night phase. Said player will be announced to have died by being "haunted by a jester". You will not be allowed entrance to the dead thread unless you make your choice or forfeit your right to do so. Should you fail to make your choice in time or forfeit your choice, you will haunt a player chosen at random instead.

The player targeted by this ability will be informed by the mod that this was a fake hammer and will be barred from posting in the thread for the duration of the twilight phase (under threat of a modkill should they post during that time), said player will be able to resume posting as normal after the mod announces the "fake hammer" at the end of twilight phase.

- Reroll for role but add this effect

Because this post was drawn an additional "placebo" player will be added to the game upon gamestart. Said player will be the mod/ one of the co-mods of the game/ one of the spectators/ any other person or mechanism the mod deems suitable for the purpose of a "fake" player. The placebo will show up in the playerlist, and in all vote counts for the game but their votes will be given a weight of 0 and they will not count towards the number of players needed to eliminate someone. They also will not count towards any win condition. Upon the death of the player who drew the placebo modifier, the placebo player will die as well and will be revealed to have been a placebo.

The player playing the placebo, may contribute as little or as much as they wish to the game content wise (though be wary of accidentally leaking info in the proccess!). It is up to mod discretion whether players playing the placebo are subject to prod rules or not.

This is a secret modifier. The player who drew this modifier will not be informed of the existence of a placebo and this will not be reflected in the role PM they receive during pregame. Their flip will reflect the existence of this modifier and their flipped role PM should mention the placebo (e.g a vanilla townie who gained this modifier would flip as a placebo vanilla townie and their role PM would reflect as such

Town Mimicry Artist


At the start of each day, the mod will assign you a player (it can be any player they wish, whether they're in the game or not). You will be tasked with mimicking that player's posting style for the duration of the day phase. Should the mod find you did a sufficient job, you will be allowed to choose 1 of 3 boons to apply to you for the next day and night phase.

Guardian Boon: You become deathproof. All killing actions targeting you will fail while this is active.

Immunity Boon: You become elimination-proof. Should you be eliminated while this is active, your elimination will be cancelled with the day continuing afterwards (with you being immune to elimination, no double jeopardy).

Mafia Mimicry Artist


At the start of each day, the mod will assign you a player (it can be any player they wish, whether they're in the game or not). You will be tasked with mimicking that player's posting style for the duration of the day phase. Should the mod find you did a sufficient job, you will be allowed to choose 1 of 3 boons to apply to you for the next day and night phase.

Guardian Boon: You become deathproof. All killing actions targeting you will fail while this is active.

Immunity Boon: You become elimination-proof. Should you be eliminated while this is active, your elimination will be cancelled with the day continuing afterwards (with you being immune to elimination, no double jeopardy).

Information Boon: The mod will provide you additional information about the setup of their choosing.

Town Forewarner


You have a strong ability to see into the future. At the beginning of the game, you will be informed of the minimum number of day-night cycles it would take for town to lose majority (under a worst case scenario where everything went wrong). For example if their is a course of actions that would cause town to lose majority at the beginning of day 3, you will be informed that town could potentially lose majority after 2 cycles pass under worst case scenario.

You have a sense of when trouble is brewing. At the beginning of each day phase, you will receive alerts if town is in perilous straits. The mod will send you a
Yellow Alert!

Once a game at night, you may activate your ability. Upon doing so, at the end of the night phase you will be shown all the players who died during said phase and will be given a limited amount of time to choose one of them. The target you choose will be brought back to life (before they flip) and you will die in their place. Should you not choose a target in time, your decision will be randomized.

Alien Brain Prober


Each night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, you will begin probing your target's brain. At the end of the next night phase, the probe will be complete and you will turn your target into a vegetable. They will be considered dead for the purposes of win conditions and can no longer vote, but they will retain posting access in any threads they may have access to. They may also once per game attempt to send a player a vegetable of their choosing during night phase. These veggies have no effect on the recipient.

Players will be informed should a probe be started on them. The effects of a probe will be cancelled should this role die before being able to complete the probe

Town Quick Draw Enthusiast


Once a game during the day, you may PM the mod with intent to use your ability, Upon doing so, the mod will announce that a townwide duel will start within two hours of this post. The thread will remain open in the interim to allow for discussion

Two hours from the time of the mod's announcement, the mod will make another announcement stating "DRAW!!!". Upon this occurring any party may type
shoot: playername
to attempt to kill someone. Each player may only attempt to shoot once during the duel. The first player to do so will shoot their target killing them if they were not protected. The mod will announce the fact that the target has been shot and will flip said target if they die, afterwards, regardless of whether the shot killed or not, the day will end. If a shot is day-ending all shots made afterwards will not be registered.

Evil parties (Roles that cannot win alongside town) must wait an additional hour for any shots they make during quick draw to be day-ending. Should an evil party elect to shoot within the first hour after the mod announces draw, their shot will go through but it will not end the day, allowing for an additional shot to potentially be made. Should this occur all players who are aligned with said player will be locked out of taking a shot, no shots they make will register. The day will only end upon the first benevolent party (town or someone who could win alongside town) taking their shot or after an hour has passed and an evil party takes (or has already taken) their shot.

Guardian Angel Holy Deity


During pregame, a random player will be selected to be your pledge. They will not be informed that you are their guardian angel. You win the game if your target manages to be alive when the game ends*.

You have access to the following abilities.

Soul Preservation
- Should your pledge be eliminated or killed and you are still alive, instead of them dying, you will preserve their soul. The mod will announce that "the guardian angel is preserving playernames soul", but will not reveal the identity of the guardian angel. Their role will be flipped and they will be treestumped, retaining access to any threads they may have access to but losing access to any abilities they have while being considered dead for the sake of win conditions. If their faction manages to win the game, their soul will be revived bringing them back to life right as the game ends (resulting in you winning in the process), though their soul will die if their faction loses or gets endgamed (causing you to lose in the process). If this ability is used and you wind up dying afterwards, your target's soul will be preserved for 2 additional days before dying out as well.

Guardian's Blessing
- Should you be eliminated or killed and your pledge is still alive, you may use one of 3 blessings in order to benefit your pledge. The mod will allow for a short dawn/twilight phase where you will be able to make a decision on which blessing to use before you enter dead thread. Should you fail to make a decision, nothing will happen. The mod will announce the fact that the guardian angel leaves their pledge with a blessing, but it will not be announced which blessing you used.
  • Holy Smite
    - You may choose one player. That player will immediately and unavoidably die bypassing all protection.
  • Guardian's Shield
    -Grants your pledge the deathproof modifier for the next two night phases. The pledge will not be informed they received this ability.
  • Divine Miracle
    - Grants your pledge a 1-Shot special diplomat ability. The first time your pledge would be eliminated, their elimination will be overruled and the player with the second most votes will be eliminated instead (ties broken by wagon seniority then choice of the pledge if still tied). The pledge will not be informed they received this ability. This blessing will cease to function should the game enter an ELO state.
Mod Note 1: *= This win condition cares about whether the target is alive when the game ends, not necessarily if they win. Should the pledge be alive but is being endgamed by a faction that won, this will be considered a win for the guardian angel

Mod Note 2: The identity of the guardian angel's pledge is considered factional information that should be redacted upon flip.

Tormenting Executioner


You are passively immune to all basic killing actions that target you.

During night 1, you must choose a target. Upon doing so, your goal will be to get your target eliminated. You may not change targets after your choice unless your target leaves the game. Should your target exit the game via means other than elimination, you will be allowed to choose a new target during the following night phase. You win the game if you manage to get one of your targets eliminated.

During the day, you may PM the mod a playername. Should you successfully get your target eliminated and win the game, you will torment another player of your choice who voted guilty on your target, unavoidably killing them as well before night phase starts. Should you fail to choose a target to torment before the mod registers the hammer, you will torment a random player who voted for your target. This will also occur if your original target is ineligible to be tormented (i.e, they didn't vote your target).

Alien Forcefield Generator


You have access to an impenetrable forcefield that non-
alien
players can't pass through. This forcefield starts out in your possession. As long as it is active, players above you on the player list (who are not
alien
-aligned) cannot successfully target players below you on the player list and vice versa. Any attempt to do so will automatically fail as if it were roleblocked. Your forcefield starts out at 2 charge and will lose 1 charge each night it's active. The forcefield will disable if it is out of charge.

You have the following additional abilities in relation to this forcefield.

Move
- Each night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, you will move the forcefield to your target placing it in front of their house. Your target will be informed that a "weird piece of tech was placed in front of their home" but will not be told what the tech does. This may not be used in conjunction with Lethal Shield.

Recharge
- Each night, you may use this ability. Upon doing so, the forcefield will turn off going into a dormant state. While in a dormant state the forcefield regains 1 charge per night phase. This may not be used in conjunction with activate.

Activate
- Each night, you may use this ability. Upon doing so, if the forcefield is currently dormant, you will turn the forcefield back on to its active state. This may not be used in conjunction with recharge.

Lethal Shield
- Once a game, when your forcefield has at least 1 charge, you may use this ability. Upon doing so, you will supercharge your forcefield turning it into an electric fence. Should anyone cross over it on the way to target someone else, they will be electrocuted if it has a charge, unavoidably killing them in the process if they are not an
alien
. The higher power makes the forcefield unstable to
Aliens
(meaning this can friendly fire!), should an
alien
cross over it while in this state they will be unable to act during the following night phase, precede with caution.

The amount of players this can electrocute correlates to the amount of charge it had upon its activation. For example if the forcefield had 2 charge upon activating this ability, it will shock the first 2 players to cross over it during the night. The closer a player is to the player in possession of the forcefield, the sooner they will cross it (see mod note for clarification). Upon using this ability your forcefield will be reduced to 0 charge and will be locked into its dormant state for the following night phase. This may not be used in conjunction with move.

Mod Note: Example

Lethal Shield is activated here with 1 charge left on the forcefield (meaning it can kill a maximum of 1 player). Player A and Player B target Player E with a night action crossing over the forcefield in its lethal state in the process. Since Player B is closer to the person who currently possesses the forcefield they will cross over the forcefield first getting electrocuted and dying in the process while consuming 1 charge from the forcefield deactivating it. Player A will cross over second harmlessly as the forcefield got deactivated when Player B ran into it consuming the charge.

Should a situation come up where two players are an equal distance away from the player who is currently in possession of the forcefield in the playerlist and both cross over it, ties will be broken in favor of the person coming from above the forcefield holder crossing first before the player below the forcefield holder (e.g same example from above, Player A and Player E target each other, Player A would be considered to have crossed first before Player E did).

Each night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, you will install a security bug outside of their home that will last for the next 2 night phases. Your target will be informed that a "weird piece of tech was placed in front of their home" but will not be told what the tech does.

While this bug is active, your target will be informed should any evil parties visit them during the night. If the same player triggers the same bug multiple times, their role will also be revealed to the player during the second trigger.

Alien Catalyst


As long as you are alive, all other aliens except you are immune to being eliminated. Should an elimination on an Alien go through while you are still alive, the mod will inform the town that "an

- Use this ability during the night, to allow one of your underlings (partners) to commit the factional kill instead of you. Each time you do this, you will lose 1 Infamy Point.

Notorious Mafioso
- You have your ways of finding information and enforcing your will. Each time you use your compulsive kill action, You will gain an Infamy Point up to a maximum of 5. Should you fail to successfully kill, you will lose an infamy point. These infamy points will grant you different effects the more you gather as described below.
  • Scout the town (1 Infamy Point)- Scout out your turf to learn how well patrolled it is. You will learn how many investigative roles exist within the game. An investigative role is any role that has an ability to check a player to learn new information about them.
  • The Don's Influence (2 Infamy Points)- Get authorities to look the other way when checking you. You gain a
    Godfather
    effect causing you to appear
    Town
    to cops and alignment cops.
  • Buddies on the Inside (3 Infamy Points)- Use your connections to ID and kill the fuzz. You will learn the identity of every player in the game who holds an investigative role.
  • Cull the Herd (4 Infamy Points)- Rid your operation of potential rats. Once each day, assuming you are above the threshold to access this ability, you may PM the mod a playername. Said player will be daykilled immediately, bypassing protection. Any victims of this action will be revealed to have been "ousted by a
    Mafia Don
    ".
  • Untouchable (5 Infamy Points)- You've become notorious, there's not a thing town can do to touch you. Should you attain the cap of 5 Infamy Points, you will become immune to elimination until you drop below this threshold. Should your elimination be hammered while under this effect, the mod will announce that "The Don has pulled a few strings and avoided execution". The act of having to do this does lessen your image. You will lose 2 infamy points each time you are saved by this ability.

Town Time Traveler


Each night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, you will cause any actions your target performs that night to be delayed until the following night phase. You may not target the same player two nights in a row.

Targets of this action will not be informed that their action was delayed and will be given no indication that they were targeted by this action.

Should you commit the factional kill, you will passively track and watch the target of your kill. Learning who visited them as well as who they visited that night phase.

Town Shade-Strengthener


Each, night you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, you will make your targets action strongwilled and stealthy that night. Their action can't be redirected or blocked and won't show up to action investigatives, such roles will gather results as if their action had not occurred.
