You guys take mafia too seriously. This is a casual game, not life threatening. I was just reading in another forum how someone got lynched becoause of their
GRAMMAR!
. Seriously guys, take a chill pill. Yes, this site is dedicated to mafia, but you people have taken it too far.

Lynching people because of their grammar is an excellent example of not taking the game too seriously. (I would be extremely surprised if it ever happened on
this
forum.)
I once helped speedlynch a guy in face to face 'cause he said pregame that speedlynching was good for the town, but he was the godfather, so it was cool.
As I move my vote
Towards your wagon, town is taking note
It fills my head up and gets louder and
[ooc]patrickgower2006 (8:12:03 PM): all beer tastes same to me
patrickgower2006 (8:12:07 PM): like dish water
If you see Patrick drinking dish water, please try and stop him. Friends don't let friends drink dish water.[/ooc]
No; lynching people for big mistakes means they're making big mistakes to catch, which makes the whole game less funner. Deciphering small mistakes FTW!

Yes, it was on this forum. We were talking about MS and wether a certain person should join.
I could even link this for you.

People on this site play mafia too good to make big mistakes. Small mistakes are the only way to win -- it isn't a matter of funner

seriously though, are you sure the GRAMMAR lynch wasn't based off of what the mod wrote in the role PMs? Because that seems kosher here if it is done without quoting the actual role pm: like lynching someone for claiming "townsperson" instead of "villager".

Wrong game , IN THIS GAME,I referred to a lynched mafia tracker as a mafia watcher, being the noob I am. The mod realizes that the tracker was indeed a watcher and proceeds to change it so. I get lynched for the impression that I knew more info even though I really accidentally used tracker and watcher interchangeably. It was too little too late though, and there was no undoing it. I got lynched for a semantic mistake that uncovered a mod mistake that framed me.

This is what I am talking about. Stupid little things like this, get us lynched? That is too far.

My situation was just unfortunate for me. I didn't do much to help myself though, as I was already a candidate for scumminess by some. I kept insisting that I made a mistake referring to them as the same, but the others thought I was not being genuine.
Sorry to refer to an ongoing game, but it was a very frustrating one for me. EDIT: Thanks Ether!

yer dudes, even on conquerclub forums we dont lynch people for grammar, if its ani he looks so scummy he makes us anyway dont u ani? We love you and scummyness tho
is famous for hammering early! That's nearly half of the wagon... if anything, Town should have paid more attention to Korts etc when they said late-game that the drake-wagon was flimsy.
The bigger problem, though, is that drake wasn't explaining himself well. He tried to correct his post repeatedly, but didn't really clarify or defend himself, and that's really why I think the wagon succeeded. "Grammar" is a proxy for stalling, in this case.
