See something scummy and you can get a gut scum read.
Seeing something 'townie' can hardly lead to a gut town read.

I don't see much sense in what Sens is saying.

This whole discussion is pretty lame, though. I don't even know if 'gut' means the same thing to everyone. I think of gut as the impression I get when I pick up on recurring nuances over a number of posts that I can't always point at immediately. Why shouldn't this get me leaning town, as opposed to scum, on someone?

The page number thing is also a fallacy. The post count and content of the player(s) in question are more meaningful.

Basically, we need to stop arguing about vague shit using vague terms.

The real issue I see people taking with rofl is that the page number on which he'd made a call on me being town was too low, or something. His comment would only be particularly questionable if I had a low post count or little content. If someone had said they had a town gut read on me on page 12 while I had the same number of posts, would this still be an issue?

I don't understand it

Like I already mentioned, I like 3 posts of Korts: 69,70 and 104.
He explained the question about Yos2. There's nothing to argue about that.
I don't understand why it was useful to ask who DGB and Vollkan saw as town (I feel dumb right now :(), but to me it is also useful to scum as they can see who others see as townie. At post 103 he asks CKD who he sees as most pro town. I would like an explanation for this.

That's it for now. I still need to see whom to vote for as all my votes and FoSes aren't serious right now. However, I don't see the case against CKD. It seems like it's based mostly upon him attacking Rofl. I see the case against Rofl better, but I'm not sold yet.

i think its in our best interest to reach a lynch in this game before deadline (well before deadline, ideally) to give scum less time to make an optimal kill or possibly catch them off guard and deprive them of a kill altogether.

Kison is scum for casting aspersions on roflcopter's unblemished record as townie town town in this game.

His case is absolute rubbish but he's perhaps hoping we interpret his actions as bus'ing after we lynch or vig him.
Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.

It's just that that's been rofl's random vote justification (that I'm always scum if we play together) for the past two games, maybe, and he always leaves one game out where I was the doc (although he had to replace out). Not really important.

I'm after lunch, and I'm digesting, so it's hard to think for me. But this vote and justification seems off. I don't see a glaring contradiction. I'll be coming back to this later to see if I can put my finger on what's bothering me.

*shrug* There are very few players who I am going to give leeway towards, but she happens to be one of them. It's not that I find it 'acceptable', but I'm far less willing to assume that DrippingGoofball in particular making ridiculous statements of that sort indicates one way or another that she is scum or town. I don't know how to read her, and I think you'll find that many people in this game who've played with her before know that she has a very unusual demeanor.

Good catch, but I'm already voting for his buddy, Kison.
Damn. Well, at least you'll never find out who my other buddy is!

FOS: Battle Mage

This is the first FOS I've pointed in about 12 months. Consider it seriously hardcore.
I dont really see your issue here. Certainly nothing that would warrant a 'hardcore FoS' (damn, dont see those words together often enough!)

Ftr, i was responding to a joke by DGB, in a similarly jokey fashion. I fail to see how you could be suspicious on me because i claimed scum in a really WIFOMy way.

scum hate it so much when town starts clearing other town, it makes it so much harder to get mislynches
This is actually a very good point. If DGB wasnt a professional bser, and CKD strongly protown, i might be tempted to follow you.

oh yeah i almost forgot about bm's conviction that ckd is protown

ckd, kison: how does bm's declaration that ckd is protown differ from my own about des, and why has it gone ignored by you two up to this point?

destructor wrote:DGB said rofl and I are 100% town, which seems a bigger statement than rofl ever made. I'm wondering why ckd and Kison are making rofl the bigger deal here and in fact saying nothing about DGB at all.
DGB is trying desperately to play to a meta.

In fact, I'm starting to feel DGB is being an intentional distraction while scum-Yos lurks away.

That's a BS reason for voting. Not realizing something is a joke or not appreciating jokes about who your scumbuddy is is in no way a scummy thing.
