I don't have a read on mastina, but it feels like you have a personal bias towards mastina. You join games because she is in them and promote her has town. Have you caught mastina as scum before?

What are your other reads?

Nope, I haven't, but I do believe I can, if given enough days. Game days, that is. But in every game I played with her, she was town, except when she was scum with me (in which case I had a vested interest to keep her alive, so I'd townread her all the same.)

So I guess that the bottom line is that I will townread her as either alignment, and thus think she'll make a good King.

Why does a townread equal a good king? She's obviously detached. People know I'm not the best king day 1 (I'd likely policy) but I want more data.

@gl, I know? I don't know why you feel the need to point that out: I'm feeling really overwhelmed by tons of pointless back and forth but I'm reading a lot more than I'm posting. A lot of words have been about andante and rhea (who must be yume) and mastina - I only have opinions on one of them.

Also, you say I've got safe reads and then argue with me about Luke.

Hence, your response to me feels really ad hoc.

Day one I kinda just want to gather town reads. It's going to be more important for the council anyway: scum as King ends up with a lot more scrutiny on that slot: they have to at least appear to by trying to be pro town. Hence, I'd much rather it be someone I can logically follow, so the Luke's of this world rather than the andantes/rheas/mastinas.

I usually play my cards a lot closer to my chest at the start of the game / when I first join a game and that might be what you're sensing?

I think if your comparison point is the end of pictures versus now then yes that makes sense, I was very invested at that point and passionate about what I wanted

I don't disagree that generally antagonizing a bunch of people 1 on 1 is like... not intuitive for scum

but LLD specifically focuses on those 1 on 1 interactions positive or negative in order to build her relationships and ensure she's never in danger

that's my point of hestitation

I don't think her reactions to people not wanting her on the council are ingenuine. I hate being treated like that for simply having a reputation and I empathize with feeling stuck regardless of what you do in that position

but my worry is that I feel like she might be focusing more on her relationships in this game than actually pushing for what she wants

Just before this you were arguing about why Andante is town. If you think that Andnante is town, then your PoV should also the the same as the one that you are disagreeing with here.

But it does not feel like you are talking about andante. You are talking in abstraction. Which feels less likely to come from someone whose primary focus rn is sorting the playerlist.
